The food here is very good, the decor is nice with unusually comfortable seating. And if you like taking your meals in the middle of a tornado you'll like the atmosphere here too. Be ready for loud hyper music, loud buzzers going off that will be ignored until they go off by themselves, and 5 people yelling "Welcome to Panda" every time someone walks in the door. But the food is pretty good so... maybe get takeout? Update: This (1:15pm) visit heard no buzzers and music was much more pleasant - big improvement! Still need to allocate employees better. I was second in line for over a minute watching one person serve while three employees congregated around the register to deal with One customer. It's been 30 minutes past when they said it would be ready and I waited inside and they're helping all the people that just walked in instead of my order and i've been waiting for 30 minutes. I love Panda Express but this service is not acceptable. I went through the drive through and they told me I had to wait 6 minutes for the chow mein. I end up waiting THIRTY minutes for some noodles. Not only that, when my boyfriend went inside to complain the girl says "she forgot about it". 2 minutes later they give us our food and we're checking to make sure everything is there and there is a hair in our food! Not only that, for some reason they put a fortune cookie inside the box with my food which I find totally unhygienic. I ordered for pick up and it was ready when I reached. I was there less than couple of minutes to pick up my order which was good. Food tasted good as usual. I ordered 2 entrees and a side. My fiancé is allergic to mushrooms but he wanted to try the black pepper angus beef. Since it has mushroom we asked nice to see if they can take off the mushroom (only the one on his plate) they told us no they can't. I know we are in a pandemic but in other areas would understand someone is allergic to an item that they can safe take out only the portion on the plate. This place has only been open like a year and a half, but it's already gone pretty far downhill. Every time we go in, they seem to be out of their most popular dishes (orange chicken, rice, noodles). It's like they wait until they're completely empty before ordering a new pot from the kitchen. Which means people stand around for ten minutes getting cranky. Ok, to be fair, I love the noodles when they're fresh. And the orange chicken, black pepper chicken, and Beijing beef are all pretty solid options. When they have any. And when they're fresh. But it seems more and more to be a rare exception. Service is usually pretty friendly, but godawful slow. Expect a 10-15 minute wait between walking in and eating, even if there's only one or two people ahead of you. It'll probably be a while before I go back. And when I do, it'll probably just be because my typical Chinese restaurants are closed for the day. read more

I had to visit Panda Express after a friend on Yelp frequented regularly. I have to say that I like it better than the normal chinese food I'm used to. A meal is under $7 with 2 meats. Entrees include orange chicken, walnut honey shrimp, beef, chinese spare ribs and grilled teriyaki chicken breast to name a few. Sides include mixed veggies, chow mein, fried rice, and brown rice. I opted for orange chicken, grilled chicken teriyaki and mixed vegetables. It was a filling meal and the steamed vegetables were a nice portion. The staff was friendly in the drive thru and during the evening rush (yes I went back twice that day) the staff handled the large crowd with pleasantries. It is a chain, but the food is priced right and the flavor is worth a visit. read more

When I placed my order with the drive thru, I asked for brown rice. The employee said "fried rice." I corrected her and enunciated "brown rice" clearly, concisely, and slowly. I saw on the screen that fried rice was rung up. When I got to the window, I pointed out the mistake. She left and came back with another employee. The first one said that she heard me say "fried rice", the second one said that she asked me three times if I said "fried rice". I tried to be polite when I mentioned that I am allergic to eggs, so I would never order fried rice. I am absolutely floored that they would feed the need to argue with me about it. I figured it was an honest mistake, why argue about it? Secondly, if she truly heard "fried rice" why would she need to repeat it three times? Wouldn't once be sufficient? I ended up driving off. I'm not going to say that it was necessarily their age, I have two teenagers myself and they are very hard workers. However, I think that their maturity level and their customer service skills need to be improved. This could have easily been corrected by them saying that they misunderstood/misheard me (which I honestly thought was the case) and made the necessary corrections. But, they chose to be childish and argue instead of just correcting the mistake. read more

Waited for fresh noodles but instead I got the nastiest chow mein ever - it was cold, rubbery, and bland. Noticed a spill on the floor (could be beverage, soy sauce or something) with "Wet Floor" sign near the door. It's great having the sign in placed BUT why not clean it immediately. I sat in the restaurant for 10 minutes or more and no one bothered to clean the floor. A female employee was handling the trash, going in and out of the vicinity but failed to take the proper precaution. Employees need a better training on Spill-Prevention Plan. read more

Then this small, stereotypical Asian motherly creature stormed in and started shouting urgently at us to keep moving down the rine even though we hadn't ordered our sides yet... How can I finish ordering my sides from the REGISTER? She was also very rude while we chose entrees. The guy who took our money redeemed the experience by being down to earth and funny. I know they want to keep the rine moving prease but she was over the top. Maybe they should have designed the place to handle a dinner rush properly without the line extending out the door instead of being pissy when a customer has a big order... Or maybe they shouldn't offer large portions if they can't handle preparing them when they are ordered......! But seriously. The food was good and most of the employees were good. There were 2 people in front of me in line and it took 15 minutes to get to the counter to even give my order. There was 1 car in the drive-thru, so I wouldn't consider that "busy". After I ordered I saw the guy scoop the wrong chicken and when I said I ordered Sweet and Sour Chicken he told me that's what he gave me. I said no, you gave me sweetfire Chicken. He laughed and scooped the rice into a different container and proceeded to give me the tiniest helping of sweet and sour chicken I've ever seen. There were maybe 4 little pieces of chicken and it was pretty dry, no sauce. I ended up throwing away most of the rice because there wasn't any sauce from the entree to flavor the rice. I've been to this location twice. The first time I went was for a quick Chinese fix, and everything tasted remotely okay. However, the second time I went, my order was not fresh at all! I ordered a plate with chow mein, rice, crab rangoons, and honey walnut shrimp (which is 1.25 extra.) I was appalled at the quality of my food. It was cold and not fresh. Wow, this place has some serious management issues. This location has been open for over 3 weeks now. They open at 10:30 am for lunch. I walked in at 10:35 behind 2 other people and the first thing I was greeted with was a counter worker yelling "we can only accept credit cards!" Ok. Tried to order.. "Sorry we don't have any brown or white rice". Ok then, fried rice it is. Meanwhile there are a dozen employees scrambling around seemingly getting nothing accomplished. So the food is a decent value and tasty but I did end up with a large piece of bone in the Kung Pao chicken. This was my second visit for lunch. The first was also very chaotic. Recently opened, fast casual. I ordered a 3 entree plate, as my side I picked the fried rice. The rice was average not bad, or great. For my entrees I picked Orange Chicken, Black Pepper Chicken, and Beijing Beef. I thought the entrees were all flavorful and would order anyone of them again. Also ordered a chicken egg roll that i enjoyed very much, as I do not like traditional shrimp egg rolls you find in most local chinese restaurants. price point was very good for the amount and quality of food you recieve. read more

I've ate here a few times since it has opened and it's pretty good not sure what everyone else was experienced but I don't have anything bad to say about it and we are picky when it comes to Chinese. I mean it's a chain so the food taste just like the ones they have in the mall. The walnut shrimp is great and so is the orange chicken. Crab Rangoon isn't so great taste more like cream cheese then anything. I wouldn't recommend those. read more

DO NOT EAT HERE. EXTREMELY UNSANITARY MANAGER. I ordered online and when I got there to pick it up (on time) I was told I would have to wait 10-15 minutes for them to cook the food. I'm glad I was there to watch. I watched the manager wear the same pair of gloves to accept cash from a customer, then count out $80 in change to the customer, wipe the sweat off his forehead and cheeks many times, and THEN he used those same filthy sweaty gloves to take handfuls of cabbage out of a cooler and toss them in a wok. I tried to call his attention to changing his gloves and he ignored me. Then he used the same filthy gloved hands to mix the noodles and cabbage together like he had a disgusting germy point to prove. When I asked to change my food so I didn't have to eat those contaminated noodles he refused to acknowledge me for about 10 minutes pretending to cook, then skipped over me to serve two customers who arrived after me. It was clear he knew he was in the wrong but refused to do anything to make it right! I ordered Online, today . I ordered an extra side of chow-men noodles and 10 packets of soy sauce with my food. It was snowing and took 20 minutes to get home after I picked up the food for me and my family. After I got home we saw that there was no soy sauce , no extra side . They charged me the extra 3$ for the side and it wasn't there . To make matters worst , there was no soy sauce .. and with this kind of food if you don't have soy sauce it's dry and not even worth eating .. Went in here for dinner takeout and it was my first time i tried panda express! I am extremely glad i came in today. I will be here every time i can! Its a little chaotic but thats perfectly fine since that means they have business! I would have liked a little more noodles in the chow mein but its okay nothing im ganna go crazy about. He should be commended for the thoughtful customer service - unfortunately, I did not get his name. Walnut shrimp was good but portion was tiny. The chicken portion size was also really small. When we got here the line was long but they were moving fast. The Asian lady who seemed like the manager/owner was very nice and fast, but no one else really was. After we got our food she left, and the line got really long and slow. The food looked and tasted fresh, and everything tasted good. You get a lot of heavy, mostly fried food, so come prepared ;) The restaurant looks great and was fairly clean, it just needs more seating room and better trained employees. For fast food, it was good. I ordered orange chicken with grilled vegetables. The price was reasonable, as was the quality. As expected, they throw frozen chicken nuggets in a deep fryer. The sauce is what makes the dish, and though it was a little thicker than I'm used to, the flavor was good. I also ordered vegetable spring rolls. The outside was crispy and cooked perfectly. The inside was a little mushy, but edible. With plum sauce they were good. Service was efficient. It was too cold inside the restaurant (Why do some businesses crank the air conditioning up so high in the summer that you need a jacket just to sit inside?), so we sat outside. The temperature was perfect outside, and we enjoyed our parking lot view while eating. The trash can was overflowing, so we had to go inside to dispose of our trash, but that wasn't a big deal in my opinion. I don't expect perfection out of a fast food chain, and a three means it's an average fast food joint. read more
