I love that the employees get annoyed with the people who ask for 6 samples and hold the line up (because I want to jab those people in the eyeball). The young hispanic girl who served me had a huge attitude for whatever reason, didn't even acknowledge me or try to fake it at least (like damn who hurt you). This was, by far, the worst Chinese food I've ever had. The chow mein and fried rice were dry and flavorless. The orange chicken was slimy. My egg rolls were soft and slimy on the inside. Question: How many 1 star ratings does it take before customers stop going to this Panda Express? I normally enjoy the food from Panda Express, But the Beaverton location services bad food. The sweetfire chicken is light on chicken and heavy on the onions, the orange chicken is not glazed properly (low heat maybe?) and the brown rice is closer to mush than rice. The girl who took my order was very rude and multiple times had to repeat myself just because she wasn't listening. She then literally counted the pieces of orange chicken she gave me and ended up only giving me like 5 little small pieces. Stingy with their portions and not very friendly. Dear Panda Express, todays visit was a one star. The food was pretty good but the service was terrible. From the first person who was very short with us, no greeting, no smile - it was clear she didn't wish to be there today or help us. The gal that took over for her was a bit more courteous but again, no smile and no enthusiasm. Cashier -asked if we wanted a drink and told us our total but nothing more - she made no eye contact / but interestingly enough when I commented to my husband that is was a shame no one was enjoying their work that all of a sudden she was a little more engaging with the next customers - asking if they wanted sauces etc. We had the pleasure of waiting ten minutes for our food so we got to see her in action. I was very disappointed we ordered to eat in, it was freezing inside there I asked about the heat and was told there was no heat, plus no eating utensils except chopsticks we don't know how to use chopsticks. So the food isn't bad, but when the staff has a bad day it's always noticeable. I talk quiet but not enough to get upset about and make comments that I heard. The whole vibe kind of ruined my meal and I'm not even someone to complain. I even leave a tip behind for whoever has to wipe my table. I love Panda Express' food, but hate that this is the closest one to my house. Consistently go in there to find they are running low or are completely out on a food item and have not anticipated needing more so they haven't even started cooking another batch. I've dealt with it until last week, I went in about 20 min before closing and they had no food available except some fried rice, grilled chicken, and sweet fire. I asked for orange chicken and the cook got an attitude at having to cook - guess it was because it looked like he had already washed his pans. He retrieved a box of chicken from the freezer and upon seeing his continued attitude I just said skip it, and took the last of the sweet fire. The cook just rolled his eyes, dropped the box of frozen chicken on the floor of the cooking area, and went back to washing dishes. I'll be driving the extra distance to a happier and more efficient Panda Express from now on. I'm not looking to be treated like an inconvenience. read more

This is good basic quick American Asian food. Currently they are featuring orange chicken with bacon and chicken breast with shittake mushrooms and kale. I enjoyed my 3 items and most seemed hot and fresh. For the first time, I tried the teriyaki chicken. It was a large portion and the sauce had good ginger notes alongside the soy sauce and sugar. The Orange Chicken was good, as was the white rice, but the Mandarin Chicken was too dry, even with the sauce on it, and the chicken, mushroom & broccoli stuff was almost entirely broccoli. Panda's food, when fresh and made right, is really good, but what I had must have been largely old and either not made right or served out wrong. Hope for a better experience next time. read more

First of all, to order from Panda Express, you have to stand outside, cannot enter the restaurant. The cashier was by the door wearing a mask. I typed down three orders) on my iPhone. I then informed cashier whom DO NOT understand me. I then requested a manager to come over. I explained to the manager. The manager nodded and took our old orders. Then I got new orders. Still one missing item. Pissed as hell, I again asked for item that I had been asking for three times. The cashier had a nerve to say that I have to pay extra. Excuse me? I would be happy to pay for that, but I did ASKED in the first place. I got a feeling that they might call cops on me because I kept went back three times to fix our orders. $6.50 for a plate full of yummy food that fills me up gets my attention. I like to get the 2 items with rice as the side, and it's plenty of food for me. I have also never had an experience here with sketchy meat, which is totally the bane of my Chinese food lovin'. I like the orange chicken, the sweetfire chicken, and the Beijing beef. Always get white rice; the fried rice (which is generally one of my favorites) is not so good at Panda, at least not without copious added soy sauce to give it some flavor. Where this particular location excels over others is in the service: friendly and fast. I like it. Food is hot and fresh, and the sauces don't overwhelm. I sent in an email order at 3:45 today to have ready at 5:30 for pick up. I use oxygen so timing is crucial. I sent my son into the store at 5:30 to pick up our order. It was not ready! They said 10 minutes.....I ran out of oxygen just before 6:00 so I went into the store while gasping for air and asked for a manager (who was trying desperately to get away for her break). She paused just long enough to make sure that they were working on my order and then was sure to tell me she was "going to finish her break". After all of that they were out of one of the dishes (why didn't they have it ready since I ordered it almost 2 hours earlier OR told my son at 5:30 that they didn't have the dish and to choose something different?). This is a cafeteria style place where you pick the entrees and rice or noodles and they serve you up on the spot. The staff person serving me was nice and even gave me samples of whatever I wanted. I ordered the 2 entree deal settling for the Kung Pao Chicken and the mushroom chicken with half noodles and half white rice. The Kung Pao Chicken and white rice was good, but I was not impressed with the mushroom chicken and noodles and almost tossed it. Prices are ok for portions. But it's quick serve, so don't expect 5 dining here. As a quick lunch or grab and go dinner it's not the worst, but there are always better choices. I ordered from postmates and I got a little of everything. Fried rice, chow mein, rangoons, orange chicken, Beijing beef, 8 treasure chicken breast (seasonal), kung pao chicken, and teriyaki chicken. This is the freshest panda I've ever had! The fried rice, Beijing beef, and orange chicken are usually dry/old tasting when I go to Panda- NOT TODAY. I'm so pleased. Ordered delivery through their app. They sent the wrong order. We got someone else's food. When I called, the person who answered was clueless. I asked to talk to a supervisor. His name was Ryan. Ryan told me to call DoorDash since all they were able to do was have me go pick up a replacement(which defeats the purpose of a delivery I paid for). He said DoorDash was able to reorder a replacement for me. I told him he should look into fixing that and he hung up on me. I called DoorDash and they said that they were incorrect. All DoorDash could do was issue a refund(which I took). I then called Ryan(Panda Express) back and let the DoorDash rep(merged calls)inform him of the correct information, to which Ryan tried to argue about it at first before finally saying he'd "pass the information on to his supervisor". So I guess he really wasn't a supervisor? Anyways, I just wanted the food I paid for. And this kid was rude and unprofessional and probably shouldn't be working in any customer facing position. read more

I just want to say that the staff are very pleasant but the management are very rude and inpatient and I didn't have a good experience with them at all! Also there portions are getting smaller over the past 6 months that I've been going and it's noticeable. I go a few times a month or more. They're also serving so called "CocaCola" bottled soft drinks that are actually from "Mexico." A lot of restaurants are serving these terrible tasting drinks, that are not the real thing and also charging a lot for them as well. We went to dinner here and my mom got teriyaki chicken. It was burnt so we asked for another order which they gave us but when we left, my mom forgot her phone. We drove home and called them to see if they could look for us and after 3 seconds she said she couldn't find the phone. She told me she didn't find it and I told her well look again because I used apples tracking system which said the phone was there. They later called and said they had found the phone.
