It was a basic question any customer would ask, yet she responded with an unnecessary tone and dismissive behavior. I was polite the entire time, so there was no reason for the attitude. What made it worse was when I brought the situation to the manager, Lesie. Instead of listening and handling it professionally, she laughed in my face as if my concern was ridiculous. That was extremely disrespectful and unprofessional. I understand everyone has bad days, but customer service -- especially management -- should know how to handle concerns respectfully. I left feeling dismissed and uncomfortable. I truly hope ownership takes this seriously because no customer deserves to be treated this way. I stopped in after visiting someone at the hospital and I am glad I did. I explained to the team member exactly how I wanted my plate made with the veggies, noodles, and teriyaki chicken diced up small. She chopped it up and kept checking with me, asking "Is this okay? Is this okay?" until it was exactly how I wanted it. That kind of attention and care is not something you always get. The food was really good and I even bought a drink, which I never do. They made my hospital visit much better. The person I met with to this day talks about how I brought her food to the hospital. The first thing I noticed when I stepped into this Panda Express was how kind the employees were. I was attended by Dennis and Bryant, who prepared my order, and Cesar who charged me at the register. Apparently they gave it to the wrong driver and then wanted me to figure out what happened instead of trying to fix the issue. Not sure what is going on with this location but lately it has been a hit or miss. However, my last 2 visits have convinced me that it will not be a 3rd. The food quality has gone down and so have the portions, one spoonful does not justify the price. The last few times the steam rice and the fried rice have both been old tasting and hard. The steak literally had been sitting for too long and had basically become greasy tasty, the most popular orange chicken was even a fail it tasted not fresh at all and hard. This is my Favorite panda! I come here so much they know me by name and order :) Food is always fresh cause they don't cook mounds of the same dish at a time and let it sit. When you come during lunch/dinner rush they are really fast moving the line and if a dish is out it usually a 6min cook/wait which is great in comparison to 15/20 min elsewhere. We ordered combination plates which included chow mein, fried rice, orange chicken, walnut shrimp, broccoli beef, mushroom chicken, and chicken with green beans plus an order of the cream cheese won tons. The portions and flavors were good and we were pleasantly surprised. We wondered why we hadn't been eating at Panda more often since we pass by here so often. Been here about 6-7 times, did 3 online pick-up orders and the rest I just waited in line to choose my plate. The 3 online pick-up orders seemed more convenient because the times I waited in line took longer and it seemed as if the online orders were more fresh. I feel as if you order online they serve you newly cooked entrees and when you go and fall in line the food you pick doest taste as fresh because they are kept out for people to pick from. To be honest the quality of food at this location has just gotten terrible. The only thing that seems to remain somewhat decent is the orange chicken. Ive felt "off" and had stomach issues the last two times ive eaten from here before this last outing where we spent over $100. At first bite i felt like the orange chicken was off. Tasted the chow mein and it was terrible didnt even finish it - wasnt going to risk stomach problems. Chicken egg roll while not great wasnt terrible. Got through the orange chicken but just overall dissatisfied. This location used to be a goto but idk maybe management needs to take a look at retraining the chefs or the way the food is being handled.
