You can top them with BBQ pork or orange chicken, and they're absolutely incredible. I literally dream about these fries they're that good. The customer service is another reason I keep coming back. Everyone is so warm, welcoming, and genuinely friendly. They were also incredibly generous with samples, which I loved because it introduced me to a few new favorites I probably wouldn't have tried otherwise. On top of that, the portions are huge, the prices are affordable, and every dish is packed with flavor. You definitely get your money's worth here. The service was great and friendly. Their famous orange chicken fries were great, but they were more spicy mayo fries than orange chicken fries. Luckily I love spicy mayo. I think the orange chicken lacked a bit of flavor and wasn't as sweet as I would like, but maybe the spicy mayo overpowered it. It was crispy and texturally great. My order could have used some more green onions. They gave me a sample of their BBQ pork and it was great and juicy, but the fries alone were enough for 2-3 portions for me so I couldn't eat more. We were headed to the Forum, in Inglewood, for a concert. We needed food that we could pick up and take with us. We found this establishment and everyone agreed that it looked good. Private lot in a strip center. It was around 6pm, lots of parking. There was a small line and this place is tiny inside. The line moves quickly. My son had the teriyaki chicken with chow mein. My daughter had to get orange chicken with fries. I did the combo with bbq pork and jalapeño chicken. The portions are massive, the food remained hot, as we ate in the parking lot of the Forum. The orange chicken fries were really good. The sauce and red peppers had a nice kick. I think that was our whole groups favorite dish. Close behind was the bbq pork. Slightly charred exterior but still moist inside. The teriyaki chicken was really good too. Four of us ate and we took home probably half of everything, yes the portions are that big. Their menu is pretty concentrated but they are really good at what they make. The combo A plate ($9.49) is one item with chow mein and/or rice. Combo B ($11.49) is the same with 2 items & Combo C ($13.95) is 3 items. I got Orange chicken & beef & broccoli and it was really good. Girlfriend got Orange chicken and mushroom chicken and it all was really good. The guy in line bonus said the BBQ pork is really good & Id like to try that next time. I really enjoy coming to China Express. My husband and I come here often, especially for the wonton soup and the hot and sour soup. Today we ordered a hot and sour soup, BBQ pork ribs, and shrimp tempura. Everything was delicious, just like always. The only thing that disappointed me was when we asked for two cups of water. One of the ladies told us they didn't have water and suggested I buy a bottled water instead, which I did. I don't mind buying a bottle of water, but I found it hard to believe that a restaurant doesn't have cups of water available. It made me feel like they just wanted me to buy something else. Other than that, the food is always very good, and that's why we keep coming back. I hope they can improve their customer service in situations like this. read more

Whoever thinks this is good Chinese get your taste buds checked this place is disgusting and has zero to little flavor in everything the orange chicken is soggy the beef and broccoli has no sauce on it just giant pieces of broccoli with no sauce or flavor to the beef and the pork ribs came with no sauce and the color looked like discolored my roommate said it looked like carnitas if you could imagine the color. The fried rice was frozen or it tasted like it and the chow mein lacked any flavor I get it's 16.99 for a 3 combo plate but I would rather go to panda and pay more for better quality. These types of places are hole in the wall but this one is a miss. The onion chicken was surprisingly very tasty so I will give them that and it was free due to DoorDash if I spend 15 dollars I get a free item. The service looks like they have lines of people since it's cheap and affordable and busy. It's in a small plaza parking isn't an issue, they have like 3 tables inside it's very cramped, best to take it to go. For 2 items and chow mein and fried rice was only about $12. They do have a special on juice where you can get 3 for like $12 it's basically buy 2 get one free but I don't recommend. It was just all artificially crap and so sugary. Plus I wasn't to happy I asked for mango they gave me watermelon flavor. So unless you like ultra processed sugary artificial so called juice I wouldn't get it. Now the food, it was just ok, the bbq pork was a bit dry and not as flavorful as I expected and the orange chicken the same, texture was good but lacked flavor.
