The operation times are wrong and they are very unfriendly. The hours say 11-9:30 on Sunday but they actually close and start cleaning at 9. What fast food place closes and starts cleaning before the time listed on the window. None that I have ever been to, except for this place read more

Every time I have visited this Panda Express I leave w/ a smile on my face because the employees that work here are friendly, informed, and deliver amazing customer service. Better than, and certainly more genuine than do most of the high end stores and restaurants in South Coast Plaza, Fashion Island, and the Shops at MV combined. As far as fast-food Chinese, this store in particular is definitely worth the trip. Lastly, just know that u will be served lightning quick, whether u eat in or take out. read more

When I came in, the cashier was dealing with a man who had presented a counterfeit $100 bill. She was calling the police, handled the situation well without verbally escalating the situation with the perp. Anyway, the other server attended to me without wait, despite the issue at hand. Service was fast, food was fine, attitudes were great from the workers. Good experience. FYI, the perp took off after saying he would wait outside for the police to explain the situation...LOL read more

This morning I arrived right at 10:30am ready to order a delicious quick take out for myself and my stepfather... When the door was unlocked at 10:33am (not minding the few min late opening) the employee unlocked the door then turned and walk away. This is what I thought was rude.. she unlocked the door and walked away right to my face. I expected the door to be open just a crack and a good morning or welcome. Nope click and walked away. at that point that employee kept her back to me the rest of my time ordering, When I approached the counter there were only 2 chicken choices and noodles as options or fried rice.:( All the other trays were empty...I need to leave so I asked for the orange chicken, brown rice and fresh veggies to go. The employee assisintg me said "no brown rice or veggies available...still being prepared. :( I'm a vegetarian and not a fan of the greasy noodles... but I guess I"ll take the noodles. I felt like i was a bother to the server. sooo needless to say for a med orange chicken for my stepfather and greasy noodles for me... for $12 the worst money for food or service ever spent. read more

We stopped at Panda at 3 p m today on Golden Lantern and Camino Capistrano , Nov. 12th , and there was only enough food in the trays to put together meals for about 3 people , there were 3 teen age girls waiting to be served, so after that there would have been almost none left in the trays. There were two employees in the front and BOTH were occupied with getting a family of about 2 through the checking out process. It took about 10 minutes or more so we just left without ordering, noting that by the time it finally got to us, after the teenagers in line next, there would have been almost no food. Why there weren't more trays being filled is unknown and the wait time for the two employees to process the cash regester customers took so long is is a mystery. I sure hope someone else besides me says something too. Don't think we will be going back there again. read more

Just went there with my daughter for lunch and I regret it. The did not have fresh vegetables and when we asked for it we had to wait 15 minute then come to find out the cook did not event start on our order. Why? Only GOD knows. Wanted to leave but we had already paid and ended up with minimal left over in their all empty pans. Real bad experience . Do not recommend the place with this kind of service. read more

I have been to this location twice now and both visits were a let down. Each time the entrees looked like they had been sitting a while, the trays were almost empty, and my food wasn't hot, not even warm. I was not offered any up sells (spring roll, wantons, etc.) and when I asked for them I wasn't even offered any sauce to go with them. Disappointing customer service. Next time I'll drive to San Clemente, that Panda Express sets the bar! read more

I go here every Friday for our Chinese food Fridays. In the last three months I have never had a wrong order something not come out fresh. The staff are polite and fast. The manager, for the life of me I don't know his name, but he is the hardest worker of them all and I've screen this location go through almost 100 people in a little under an hour! I will continue to drive to this location even if one is closer! Way to go and keep it up. read more

What a joke. I walked through the door at 9:34 and the man looked at me with zero sympathy and said "we're closed" I replied "Oh, what time did you close?" Answer: 9:30. Really? I'd just got off working, was exhausted and never had anything to eat. I walked over to Chipotle, who also closes at 9:30 and got a burrito. Very poor servicea and unprepared to serve dinner when customers arrive is the best I do to describe this restaurant. When I walked in last evening, this place was empty. I was the only customer in the establishment and they had 3 bins empty with no food. Their veggies looked old and yellow and there were 3 employes chuckling with each other when I approached the counter. The real issue is that they didn't have what we wanted so we were forced to wait about 15 minutes. As time passed, they continued to help other customers which is expected. However, when the entree we specifically requested is served to other guest while we wait is completely unacceptable. I have given this place several chances to redemn themselves but this has happened too many times. I would choose another location or restaurant if possible. read more

This location has very friendly staff and when you ask to try something new, they give you a good sided sample so you can really get a feel of what its going to be. The food is always hot and tastes fresh. Try the Saracha shrimp! YUM!!!! read more

POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE! I contacted the Corporate Office regarding my experiences at this location and hope they will respond. I still see people lined up here and that's their choice. The food quality is ok, not great, just ok. You shouldn't have to wait for your online order to be ready 10-15 minutes past the pickup time. They never comp you anything when items are missed from your order and you have to drive across town to pick it up. However, last night was the worse. I was questioned extensively in front of everyone if I or someone from my home had already picked up my order. I was furious and insulted. I kept telling them NO, and they kept asking anyway. They were not very tactful in the way the situation was handled. read more

2 stars for service, 0 for food! This is NOT Chinese food, it's soy processed junk! I have an exchange student from China and he laughed at this "chinese restaurant", "this is not chinese", he said. We have ordered a few times just because my kids' friends like it here, though I don't feed my kids this kind of fake food often at all, and every single time, someone in the car says their order was messed up. Wrong item, or they didn't pack something like rice or something that came with the order. The rice tastes like cardboard, really! I am a foodie and this place is not real food. Think about it! Make the rice at home!!!! White or brown rice, a little butter, add a couple of eggs, peas or carrots or any vegetable you like (I use organic ingredients and broccoli), then add a little Tamari sauce (non-GMO, organic soy sauce that is NOT bad for you like Panda's one), salt and pepper and ta-da! Kids love it and it takes 10 minutes to cook. No more Panda for us! read more

I come here ince in a while Always get a twio piece meal and it is always good and a good value. Today i went and while the food was good, the portions were smaller and the entries where mostly vegetables with very little meat. Maybe it was just an off day, but if it is the norm something has changed in the wrong direction. If they need to increase the price...fine don't just reduce the value read more

The food was excellent (orange chicken), and the staff was friendly & efficient.

We went here the other night. Other family members dinners were of good size. I ordered the Surf and Turf and my dinner was packed by a different person than the rest of my family. I was sooooo disappointed when I got home to find I had one piece of steak and one shrimp in my surf and turf. Not pleased at all!!! I paid more for this meal. They will get one more try in the future but if the result is the same they are off my list. read more
