I hate the slander with this location. The Staff is always friendly. We go a few times a month because of the convenience and very rarely have I ever seen it bare. There are complaints about them running out of food close to closing time.. which I think is ridiculously silly because why would they cook a fresh batch of food and be stuck with it since you know.. it's close to closing. It's Panda's so the food is pretty consistent. I wish somethings weren't so heavily sauced but it is what it is. There are some high tops and a couple of regular tables to eat inside but for the most part, people just grab and go or eat in the courtyard as the restaurant can be a bit narrow. And to top it all off they didn't give me the kids apple crisp so I had to walk back to the branch and they didn't even offer any apology or a bag! The kiddies love the noodles, fried rice, regular orange chicken and veggie spring rolls from the Panda by their house. Today they even liked the food from the Panda in Mililani. They wanted the above choices instead of their own club meals which included a drink. They asked for Starbucks instead. Disappointingly all of our three fortune cookies were rubbery, stale and inedible. I was really looking forward to eating it after the spring rolls. The person who helped scoop the items into the Bigger Plate option was very patient with the person in front of me who kept changing her mind, adding more and more, holding up the line forming behind. After a few more minutes I was told again my order is being made now. Second time they lied. Then I asked what's going on and they said waiting on chow mein noodles. People walked in behind us and basically told them to F-off there was nothing left but white rice. Now I know why there stars keep dropping because the owners don't care and neither do the staff. Whether you want rice, noodles, or a vegetable option to your side, you can get a decent portion that could serve as two meals for a moderate eater or will probably fill a good sized eater for around $13 unless you get premium items. I'm a regular here that orders Super Greens and three beef broccoli servings while using the survey offer found on each receipt (gives one more small portion for free with a two choice plate). All said, this order comes out to $11.52 with tax. The manager, Sherry, and workers here have always been good to me, so I go back once or twice a week for the meal, and I portion it at home to spread out the cooked veggies with my other meals (many times, steak from Times and rice (I know I'm pakeh... and in truth I'm half... but I often save rice from Zippy's or other places when I get more than one scoop, so I warm that up to go with my other meals)). I don't eat in, but the ambiance every time I've gone is that of a mainly take-out spot with a few seats to dine in. Food is what Panda normally is. But I was missing an entree and when I asked the worker if utensils were in the bag he said yes. But when I got home there were no utensils. If I have to take the time to check the bag for utensils and open each plate individually, it might be better to just order in person instead of using the app. It's not much of a time saving if I have to check everything. read more

We were in a pinch and decided to try Panda Express for a quick meal. I have seen it everywhere growing up but never went out of way to order it. I always wondered why there is always a line out the door. Now I know why! For less than $15, you could get a box of flavorful protein & carbs to feed your entire family. I appreciate that they don't add msg in their food. The service was very efficient. The honey walnut shrimp was the best (extra $1.5). It was comparable to the ones you get at take out Americanized Chinese restaurants. The orange chicken is addicting. Both of those dishes seem to use the same sauce. I also liked the eggplant and tofu dish. Also comparable with what you'd get in other Chinese restaurant. The chow mien was not oily at all so I felt pretty good eating it. I loved how you could also do half half with noodles and their stir fried veggies. The stir fried veggies is really healthy tasting! Light and full of cabbage and broccoli. Been here a few times and I have to say each time, there is something I can complain about. I try my hardest to hold off on negative reviews also since the island is small. Walked in tonight in the Town center location and the gentleman serving does not greet you hi or hello which makes ordering feel awkward. Besides a poor customer service, he barely feels up the scoop for the entrees which walking away after you've paid full price for every item made me feel I got ripped off. With today's inflation I'm definitely walking away feeling empty. I have gone to the Uka, Waipio location and in the contrary, I had a complete opposite experience. They are friendly and my plate is always full and hot. The workers always greet you with a big smile and they make sure you walk away feeling satisfied with your dinner purchased. Usually love pandas! This last time I went one thing that was a total turn off to me was the ladies attitude and the way she spoke to me.. lady I'm not your co worker. But wasnt to bad since it was a short interaction . Second... my portions.. believe me I been to pandas this.. was more like a 2 choice then a three choice. And third.. WE will never get the beef brocolli .. again. I believe we got it before but this time.. it was bland or something just wasnt right about it. I was quoted the wrong price for my food so at checkout I was surely surprised. The girl told me first that kids meal could not offer us 2 entrees instead of 1 starch, 1 entree. So she recommended a bowl with 2 entrees for about the same price so I agreed.
