Food is what you would expect! My last visit here had me a little irritated! I had an older employee start my order and half way through handed me over to a very nice young lady! who finished up my order after I paid she noticed I was missing my third entree and asked what it was. After I told her we realised the food was out, so when she asked the original lady that took the order how long till it was done. That lady then yelled and belittled the young lady saying "I didn't know you were waiting, and how should I know!" She filled that plate!? We came to this Panda Express at 9pm (they close at 9:30). Let me tell you about our experience -- The food in the warming trays looked dry, not really appetizing and since there were three of us, the amount of food visible was a joke. I asked the clerk if they had planned to cook any additional food, the amount of food looked barely enough to complete a 2 piece platter. While I realize that the store closed in 1/2 hr, the last customer should be treated just as well as the first costumer. While I also realize the store was closing, an offer to cook, at least 2 of the normal amounts, or even a portion size, couldnt be accommodated. There were people that showed up after us and they looked at the available food options and also walked out! Based on this experience I would have to say that your facility lost the cost of meals for 6 people. We did not receive and "I'm Sorry Let me talk to my manager", Nothing! Very poor customer service - employees need to remember that it's the customer (regardless of what time they enter the restaurant, first or last!) That helps to keep you employed, if customers aren't satisfied they will more than likely share their experience with there friends who will share with their friends, etc.... read more

I hate Panda Express and this one is no different. End up coming here for lunch sometimes because its quick. The food is always the same quality (bad) so you know what to expect. My main beef with Panda is this. For 7 bucks or so you get 2 entrees and a side which is already pretty expensive. OK so the side they give you takes up most of the box while you get 2 small single scoops of entrees. I mean small. Like not much at all. So an ENTREE is bigger than a SIDE right? A SIDE is NOT SUPPOSE TO TAKE UP THE MAJORITY OF YOUR PLATE. Anyway I hate the corporate greed this place entails and I have a suggestion for you if you want to eat chinese in Morgan Hill. You will get 3 times as much food that is cooked to order for 5 dollars and 3 cents. Not sure why all the Panda hate... It's cheap, chain Chinese food, people. Nobody promised gourmet! I like to get Panda to-go, I swear they give you bigger portions in the boxes than if you eat it there. Our favorite items: green bean chicken, fried rice, Kung pow chicken, pepper shrimp Not a fan of their chow mein or broccoli and beef (neither are as flavorful as their other dishes) It gets you a Chinese food fix cheap and fast. 3 stars because the service at this location is notoriously slow. read more

I've walked out of this Panda either empty handed or with an empty stomach more times then I've actually left a satisfied customer. Don't count on them having full trays of food. What little food they have will look dry and old. And you can always count on waiting for them to cook at least one of your choices which means the rest of your food will be cold by the time they give you the plate. The food is good for how cheap it is. This location is WAY better than the one located on Cochrane. The food at the Cochrane location was not so good... The service at the Tennant location is kind of unorganized. It seems unmanaged. I would highly suggest have one person working the register instead of everyone running back and forth, lost trying to cover all positions. It really slows the service down. Working on the road I have tried eating at this location many times since it is in same parking lot as the gym I use. Multiple times now I have walked inside to multiple items being gone and having to wait for them to cook. I mean I am all for not being wasteful but when you are out of items I would think the best idea is to have the kitchen staff going on the items that are out so you aren't waiting 15-20 minutes for them to cook chicken when you order it instead lol of the kitchen staff hanging out not doing anything. I have been here during the peak rush and off hours and it's always the same song and dance with the same staff. I have even witnessed the staff arguing and being extremely rude to others customers while they sit there and wait lengthy times for their food to be prepared, only to see the staff fill other's plates that just walked inside and that weren't waiting for food. One lady waited for chicken 40 minutes with her 4 girls because the staff prepared the item only to give it to someone else that was not waiting. Terrible customer service I have never seen at a Panda Express anywhere else! When I got there, they were just finishing up my order - perfect timing if you ask me. When the staff person handed me my bag she said, "Ma'am, you were five minutes early to pick up your order." Where do I start.... We got there & right off the bat as soon as we start to order they said they were out of sweet & sour sauce so they couldn't make the bejing beef. That's like the main reason my mom likes panda.. Anyways, then when we went to pay, the cashier has a lot of attitude. While my receipt was being printed, the cashier DESTINY ripped it before it was done printing. Then she hands me the ripped piece and takes the survey that's usually at the bottom of the receipt and puts it under her register. I asked her, "um, can I have my survey?" And she says, "Oh" and rolls her eyes while she pulls it out and then hands it to me. Now, I'm not sure what the rules are here, but I work in customer service/retail & if you take a survey from a customer, that is grounds for termination. Anyways, then my fiance & I sit down & even though we asked for our food to be dine in, they bagged it up.So we took everything out & then realized that even though we asked for teriyaki sauce to actually be on the teriyaki chicken, it was dry on both my & my fiance's plate. I asked the girl for some & she gave me a small container. As we were waiting for my mom to join us, I realized we did not get any fortune cookies. So my fiance asked the cashier & she handed him 2... We ordered 3 plates.... So he reached around the counter to grab a 3rd and the cashier rolled her eyes. Really? You can't think that 3 plates should get 3 cookies? Horrible service! Came here on a Sunday around 5 pm. They didn't have chow mein or any of the items that are regularly ordered. I had to wait 10 minutes for chow mein then another 6 minutes for steam veggies then another 6 minutes for potstickers! And none of the staff was apologetic or anything. I went to this Panda Express after a tiring sports game to add some cheer to my day. However, the exact opposite happened. I asked for a bowl with steamed vegetables and chow mein, and the girl gave me a bowl with basically all vegetables and a thin nonexistent layer of chow mein. I have been eating at Panda Express for the past 5 years, and I usually loved their noodles and vegetables. However, these noodles were dry and lacking and the vegetables were cooked in some weird oil that gave them an unpalatable taste. Unfortunately, I will not be returning to any Panda Express in the future thanks to this terrible experience. Think twice before eating at Panda Express, and definitely think twice before eating at this one. read more
