I think the management need to provide proper conduct and training for their staff. But again attitude is something that the person posses and not obtain. I once had PE food at my office years ago brought in by the office manager. I swear id never have it again. Cut to present day, i realize i never have actually stepped into one. Ever. Theyre like in every airport. So a friend of mine who has recently discovered tapioca milk tea and is trying out all the local vendors. I read that this locale has something called the Panda Tea Bar, a milk tea joint inside the resto. So we brave it and go... Friend: "mmm...pre cooked steam table food..." It's a Panda Express. It's fast food. For what I expect from a place like this, my last visit was five stars because THEY HAVE MILK TEA and it's actually pretty tasty . I didn't get any boba though cause I prefer lychee and they had that and it was pretty mediocre. I think next time I'll try the boba. But for sure, I am definitely getting the black milk tea again. This is the most cheapest Panda Express I have ever been to either by stopping by on a road trip or even locally- I feel even more ashamed that this place happens to be in my own home town. We decided on the BIG 3 item container + sides (rice or chow me in) for $8. I wanted to try out the walnut prawns for an extra $1.25 more- well that only equated to 4 pieces of prawns- Cheap!! Look at the to go containers in my photos- they are really small with the exception of where they pack in the bland fried rice!! Yuck!! Whoever decided to open up this franchise is dirt cheap with the emphasis of only one thing in mind- poor quality over mass quantity. I should have read the other reviews about managers watching over their workers like hawks when it came to how much portions were put into the containers. Funny thing was that this took place 1hr before closing. I didn't see any managers around. Goes to show that their workers have already been mentally programmed already. First time at this store, been eating panda for a long time. They are out of 3 different entrees, no suprise. My regular order half and half with honey walnut. The people are really weighing the food on a scale like a drug dealer. Me and my girl both got the honey walnut shrimp, they gave us 5 shrimp each and i didnt get a single walnut. The noodles have no taste. The rice tastes bad. The shrimp barely tastes like shrimp. Would not recommend this spot. Poor customer service. I went to this location recently and they asked me to donate money when I paid for my food. I said no, but they added in a donation anyway. It wasn't a large amount but it made me very uncomfortable that the woman did this even though I said no. No one should eat here and then complain it's not authentic or like their PoPo used to make, its not supposed to be. LOL Food was warm, plentiful and as expected. Place is a little chaotic with many employees behind counter but only one filling bowls/plates and only one register. Not good - the orange chicken from my last visit was so spicy it was uneatable. I'm talking the kind of spicy that makes your mouth so hot you can't taste anything else. These people are obviously not following the recipe as the orange chicken from every other Panda I've been to in SF and the Peninsula ranges from mildly spicy to zero spice (most common). Also I've been here twice and they definitely are on the stingy side when it comes to portions...this past visit BOTH the customers before me and after me asked the server to give them larger portions. Open during the shelter in place from 10-8:30pm. Order online for pick up is better than ordering at the location. It will give you a ball park time when your order is ready. They have a deal going on for $20, you get 2 entrees and 3 sides. The deal is only for online orders. My favorites are the broccoli and beef and their Kung pao chicken. They filled the boxes to the top with all the orders. Arrived a little bit earlier than the pick up time shown for the order. Waited for about 5 mins and took a walk around the parking lot. The people running the front for pick up was nice and kept me in the loop about when my order was going to be ready. I recommend using the app or ordering online prior to getting there because you may be waiting awhile for your food during peak hours for lunch or dinner. read more

Very RUDE manager! Don't ever go there or order online. In Mar, I placed an online order. When I came back home, my 2-dish plate had just chowmein. At that time, I could not go back there to get the plate order fixed because I did not have enough time. So I called them. The employee who got my phone call said that she will put my phone number there so that I can come 'any time' to get a free plate meal. I don't go there very often and I ended up doing there this morning to get my free plate meal. The employee that I talked to call the manager. The manager did not even apologize to me about their mistake in the first place and the fact that I had to go there again. She just simply said that she cannot honor it since it was too late. And she added that I should have come back within 30 days, which is their policy. I told her that no one ever told me such policy and I was told that I could come 'any time.' She did not care. I kept arguing with her and she ended up giving me the free plate meal grudgingly, but I was treated like I was a fraud and I was humiliated. I will NEVER go back there again. Such disrespect!!! If you want to risk your order to be just coming with Chowmein and nothing else, please go ahead and order food from this place. read more

We went last night after a school function so I felt bad as they were about to close soon. We were helped by Ashley and she was so professional and had one of the best customer service attitudes I've ever experienced. She was helpful to her co workers and helped all the customers while having such a positive attitude. STINGY! This location gives you the bare minimum of food per tray. Staff behind the counter gave 4 pieces of orange chicken for a "bigger plate". I asked for a couple more pieces, and the lady behind the counter looked at me as if I had two heads. Same issue with the Beijing Beef and the Walnut Shrimp. Unfortunately this location is not motivated to change since they get a fair amount of business. Compare to other Panda locations and you will see the difference. During this quarantine people are looking for some good value to go meal and I am one of them. I like panda personally. When I heard they had a 4/20 deal i was interested because it sounded funny and seems like good value. So I decided to try it out. I ordered 4 bowls for 20 to go. To go process was awesome. They were quick and safe. But the problem is coming from portion size. I do eat bowls and sometimes plate. This bowl was very different. The bowl was half was full. They all were. And the container they used were smaller than original ones. I wish I took pictures. I just didn't even feel like it because it looked really sad to even look at it. I ordered two orange chicken with veggies and rice, fried rice, chow main.. etc I just so disappointed amount of the food that i got the discount, but I feel like I just bought it with right price. It is like we are on sale, but not actually sale becuase they are trying to trick you. Just make you think that way. And I really hate that. I am willing to pay the value of it. But when I felt like tricked and scammed this way just not right. I'd rather pay two plates and it ill be cheaper and I am 100% sure I will get more food. I stopped by to get my teenage son some of his favorite orange chicken. I find myself standing outside the restaurant that was supposed to open ten minutes ago. Doors locked - several people outside who have tried to open door. I see people inside, but they have not acknowledged us. I just called to make sure they would be opening soon. No answer. After ten minutes I knock on the door loud and long until they answer. Tam tells me "we are not open yet." I ask about the hours posted and she says it is usually slow on Sundays so they decided not to open until later. The 8 people and I standing outside clearly didn't get the message.
