Stopped in last night. They offer an amazing deal at the end of the evening to purchase a Hot meal already packaged if you make a simple donation to help sick and needy children. How cool is that? It sure beats throwing the food out which many restaurants do or serving left over food the next day which Bagel works does down the street. I come here once in awhile for lunch because it is so close to work. I try not to come here during lunch hours from 12pm till 1:30pm because there is way too much people and the service is kinda slow. Overall, the food is great and the staff is super nice. I ordered 2 item plate a new item crispy shrimp and chicken and green beans When I went to Register the woman rang my order up the bill was around $12.. I said to the woman did the prices go up? She said "no, the shrimp is a $1.25 extra" I said to her " really? It does not say it when you order, she said the person who took my order is suppose to tell me this, I paid and left. I went back and ask for a manager to tell about my experience from the previous day. Manager she was rude! I love Panda Express. I used to every day. From orange chicken to Beijing beef to almond chicken breast, you name it, I've tried it. One day I received under cooked food which I ate unknowingly and got really sick. I didn't think much of this so I stopped eating from this location for a while. The reason you go to a panda express anywhere is because there is a flavor you are familiar with that, from time to time, you just crave This panda express is no exception. The food is tasty and, in my opinion, not badly priced. I went later at night, so the quality and experience may be very different from lunch or dinner rush. The space is clean and employees come by to clean up frequently. My only complaint is the lack of pure vegetarian entrees : other pandas I've been to have at least one or two vegetarian friendly entrees, but this one has none. One of the reasons why I looove traveling is because I get to have Panda Express at the airport. Now there's one just a few streets away?! All too exciting. I'm pleasantly surprised that this location isn't overpriced compared to the rest, since that's what NY seems to like doing with fast food chains. And the food is as good as I remember it to be from my last travel months ago. Seriously annoyed never going back. This is the only Panda Express near the hospital where I work. Every single time I've gone in, there has been at least one girl behind the counter with an attitude. Today I just couldn't deal! So I thought about it after I saw their B grade in the window from the health inspectors, but I went inside anyhow. Get in and naturally the there was a line and a very loud girl behind the counter. Who yelled into the kitchen for the other employee to return to the register. I ordered the fried rice and kung pau chicken. The associate filled most the bowl with rice. Then she gave me a half filled scoop of the kung pau chicken, with mostly the vegetables. When I asked her to add a bit more chicken she refused and I could only get one scoop, all with a very very rude attitude. Given my past experiences and the letter B in the window, I just simply said no thanks. The associate behind the counter shrugged her shoulders and had a very smug smile on her face. Needless to say I'm never going back. Who really wants to be bothered with ppl with such terrible customer service. read more

Not happy with the food, ordered thru deal dash and they forgot to put in utensils, the chow mein I ordered was dry, over cooked and hard. Just left panda Express, and once again I'm dealing with employees and there disgusting attitudes. Michael needs to find a new job because clearly he's not happy with his employment at Panda express. I decided to use one of the good fortune cards that was given to me by the company. They seemed to have a problem with that and had restrictions on what size side dish I can buy. Panda Express is essentially the "Chipotle" of Chinese food. Pretty good for a casual, quick bite if you're in the mood for Americanized Chinese food. The building is brand new, so interior and seating is bright, clean and shiny. Their employees are friendly and the line moved pretty quickly. I had the plate option which includes two entrees and 1 side (I got the famous Orange chicken, chicken teriyaki, and fried rice). The Orange chicken is comparable to the general tso chicken I've eaten at real Chinese restaurants. There's a bit too much breading to meat ratio, but this is expected at a fast casual place. The chicken teriyaki was a pleasant surprise - tender and flavorful and was cut in front of us. Fried rice was decent, but wasn't anything special. Overall, a filling meal for under $10. Also, Hospital employees around the area get a 10% discount! Plus they offer to donate your rounded change to their pandacare charity. read more

yep its panda express on 1st ave near 69th st and yep its express cause right after you order and pay, one of the workers scoops up your food into a plate or container just like a non self service buffett .after a horrible dumb movie at the movie theater i stopped by for some orange chicken with chow mein with a veggie egg roll and soda . wow the food aint bad at all and the portions are better then average and food is fresh even at 9 pm. plenty of table seating in a bright clean spacious interior . i did enjoy the orange chicken but if i knew that grilled chicken teriyaki was available i would have picked that instead which means i must return for another visit . good food , good variety of choices and prices are fair and the wait time to order and pick up is minimal . read more

I've always been a fan of quick and delicious panda express dishes like orange chicken and walnut shrimp, this new location is no different when it comes to that! In that sense, I give it a 5/5 for food. However the staff is really disorganized and unable properly serve the lunch crowd. They don't seemed to be properly trained and that caused a lot of confusion when I stepped up to order my food. They were talking to each other and not paying attention to the customers.
