I go to this location because they have a drive thru. Lately I've been regretting it because the drive-thru cashier is rude and sucks at communication. And sometimes she lies. Recently I've noticed this location seems to run out of certain food items. The cashier won't tell you up front if they ran out of fried rice for the day. Or if they're making more, she'll lie and say "we're not making anymore!" Probably hoping you'll order something else and leave. But then her coworker will somehow come up with fresh batch of fried rice. Happened twice recently. Strange, never an issue at other locations I've been to. I recommend driving across town to the other panda at The Promenade. No drive thru, but at least the workers there are nice. Or lie. And they don't seem to run out of fried rice either. read more

Been going to this specific Panda Express in Sacramento Natomas since 2016 and till now i've always had a wonderful experience going here. Whether its ordering food inside (prior to covid) or through the drive thru i never had any issues. Each employee from the cashier to the management have been amazing. Each crew member works hard and goes above and beyond. Gie, Sandy, and Jose they are the ones i commonly see when i order food and they have always been phenomenal and pleasant to speak with. Thang, whose one of their managers has been an amazing person. I have nothing but respect for his work ethics and his dedication to not only his work place but for his team members too. There are other employees who are just as grear, however i was not able to get their names. All and all this Panda Express on Del Paso is one of few places i go back to for food. Wow has this place gone down hill. Used to be our favorite panda express to go to, not anymore. The people working during the day are not nearly as on top of things as the night workers are. Then, we go today, and I find a hair in my food in my mouth. ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING!!!!!! And most definitely not mine as I am a redhead.. Tried several times and no matter what time of day always seems they are out or only have enough for half of what you order. Tonight got or tried to get super greens only enough for half ( for the record half was more than I've ever gotten at this location). Green bean chicken should have been called green beans ( one piece of chicken). So got half super greens and half fried rice (no flavor in the fried rice). My experience with Panda Express (although it was near closing time) had many issues. I went thru the drive through and ordered A bowl of shrimp/walnut and a Kung PAQ ckn. bowl. The cost for the mostley filled rice bowls, would set me back 20.00! There was no one in line at the drive thru, I believe I was their only customer at the time. I was told the shrimp would take 5 minutes longer. So pull over to the wait parking, so I did. After 10 min. A man showed up and banged on my window, (scared me a wee bit) and informed me " sorry we are out of Kung PAQ !" Well "could you not have told me this when I ordered it? " he gave a dismissive answer, but then informed me of newly made sweet and sour ckn. I might like" Going on fifteen minutes, I said "sure" . I would wait another ten minutes, before he brought me two much smaller versions of their Bowls sold in the past, with so little of the entree I paid for. I counted four shrimp totally and no sauce nearly at all. With dry rice, and no soy sauce added in the bag .The freshly made sweet and sour had NO SWEET AND SOUR, maybe they forgot to add the sauce, but it was dryer than the Shrimp! The Bottom line is this, 1.) The quantity of the food was sub par. 2.). The portions of food was much less than in past times, and it cost 35% more! and was filled with mostly rice and four shrimp was my assessment. 3.) I waited 20 minutes for my food. Final thoughts: I was the last customer standing, who ordered 2 bowls of Chinese food, which bought me sauceless, mostly rice in mini bowls, and made me wait an extrodararly long time in the wait line parking! Other reviews seem to indicate unhappy customers as well. If they care about reviews, (which they most certainly should) The Management should attempt to anwser and reward these customers with an incentive to change their mind and rewrite a negative review. Reviews can. Be used to change up or correct a situation. If it is a one time experience, it will.reflect in the reviews. But consistently bad reviews without a response from management, shows there is not a concern for quality, and well that is why there are reviews. Due to COVID-19, a lot of places have shut down and eating out hasn't been quite the same. As a result, many of us have turned towards cooking more at home but every once in a while, I still find myself craving some Panda Express. During the past few months, Panda Express has offered the family meal for $20. I will be honest and say I've bought this at least 5 times so far and have spread word of this, which my friends have also purchased. I'm happy even during these times we can enjoy some of the comfort foods we enjoy with our loved ones and thank each and every worker there who show up to work and help provide the experience for their consumers. The line in the drive thru this time was held up and the speaker when two voices would come on at once. The prerecorded nonsense that it always does and a woman asking me to hold on. Truly disappointed in our visit here tonight. This location keeps changing their rules for the family meal deals. Online orders don't work, and then they tell us they won't honor the deal after 8:00 pm. No where on the app or online does it mention a cut off. In fact, the app states they are open until 9:00! When I tried to order in the app at 7:50, it offered an 8:10 pick up! We ordered our food despite this and the portions are extremely tiny compared to their usual. This location was clean when I entered and I was greeted warmly by the staff. They encouraged me to sample the items I was interested in and when I was indecisive they were very patient. Just picked up food from this location. This has to be the worst Panda Express EVER. The drive thru line looked horrible so I decided not to be lazy and go inside to order. The line was about 4 people deep. Fast forward 30 minutes and I'm back in my car. The people who work here have to idea what they are doing. The workers would be at the line one moment and gone the next. They had like 3 people working the drive thru and 1 frantic girl working on the people waiting in line inside. This girl was spilling food left and right. When I finally got my order, I got like a half portion of everything.
