We have never been to this location before we usually visit at the one in Grande although they had several choices some of the dishes were like the last Might have been in them so that didn't look as freezing so we settled on the ones that did have more of the orange chicken or the broccoli & beef, etc. our food was good. We ate inside this time around. We got there in the nick of time because they were busy With the line out the door from the time we got there, while we were eating. The orange chicken and the spicy firecracker chicken I forget the name were pretty bland for being 'spicy' . We do enjoy our panda express experience pretty much all the time. I love Panda Express, we decide to grab some for diner, we did the order but we had to wait for some entrees to be ready, what is fine but the problem was that the manager Maggie was helping and when the entrees were ready she forgot to finish my order, she started serving the entrees to other customers that had just order, when I ask for my order they had to make the entrees again because they were out again. Maggie you should not be a manager or a least go back for another training curse (but I don't think it will help) or get a different job. read more

Terrible customer service on 3/21/26 (8:30 pm). As soon as my elderly parents walked in the female employee rolled her eyes and was so rude. I helped my parents order because she was not helpful at all. She threw the noodles in the container and was very impatient with them. Not polite, no smile she was really mean. BEST PANDA IN SLO ! I have had nothing but good experiences at this location. There was only a few workers a bit ago when I went but each one was very nice. Great portions of the food served, always fresh and flavorful. I don't feel rushed when ordering as they take their time to make sure your plate is portioned right. This particular PE is always out of noodle. When the noodle runs low the ratio of noodle to chopped bok gets really gross... I hate getting the serving that's over half chopped veg and barely a noodle... gross. Also, they never have the sautéed greens. Oh, yeah, they ask, "would you like to wait 5 minutes?" but who goes to PE to wait what realistically in 7 or 8 minutes... 5 minutes?? LOL I went tonight and there was maybe 2 shrimp in the fried shrimp (higher priced)... and don't get me started on the broccoli beef. Where's the damn beef? and that raw broccoli???? Bad customer service. We ordered through the app and had to wait +30 minutes. When asked about the status of the order, she said it'll be ready soon. Once we got our food, we noticed that our mushrooms were hard and raw, as if barely cooked through. We brought that to the employee's (her name is Abby) attention and she scoffed at us saying that they are cooked fresh. Her response was snappy, which threw us by surprise. We requested for them to cook the mushrooms again. Once they finished, Abby hastily dropped off the food at our table without acknowledging us, which was a bit impolite. We tried the newly cooked mushrooms and yet again it was still raw. The way it's cooked is as if the raw mushrooms were just doused with the sauce. I'm not sure if this is a SLO thing but other Panda Express locations I've been to actually have cooked mushrooms. What a downfall. This very upscale, newly built restaurant location is the newest Panda Express addition. The Los Osos exit off Highway 101 is becoming my rest pit-stop on my way driving South to LA. Make a right turn from Highway 101 South heading West towards Highway 1. Heads up: Obtaining gas at Los Osos Road is fairly reasonably priced at this location. The Arco Gas Station is on the way to Panda Express as well as Costco Gas Station, Home Depot, BevMo, and It's A Grind Coffee House located in the same location as Panda Express in the same shopping complex 1/4 mile from Arco and Highway 101. The food at this Panda Express is surprisingly cooked fresh, unlike other Panda Express locations I have visited up and down the state of California & Nevada. More importantly, this restaurant is constantly filled with people frequenting this location, so the food is guarenteed never sitting in the food warmer no more than 30 minutes from the time the food is removed from the wok cooking. How do I know this? I burned my tongue on the food which was piping hot ! Also, I saw all the food warming trays immediately replaced with new food trays as soon as a tray becomes 1/2 empty for EACH type of Chinese food served the night I visited. The employees working here are very cool, understand the meaning of good customer service, and cordially greet each customer entering Panda Express. Heads Up: Exiting the restaurant away from the parking lot is a very nice courtyard should you chose to eat your food outdoors or you my choose to eat your food inside enjoying, observing the comfortable, yet, modern decor. The Los Osos location has Chinese food cooked right, no waiting in line, and excellent customer service unlike waiting 20 minutes in line like the Panda Express located on Lindaro Road exit off Highway 1010 located at Thousand Oaks CA! read more
