Horrible. So we walk in, our first time ever... The place isn't busy, but it's a mess. Tables dirty, garbages full. Ugh. We walk up and explain we've never been. No explanations on how it works or what choices are good. We get a few things- orange chicken was ok. Nothing was hot. The fried rice wasn't even warm and had NO flavor. Worst Panda Express ever! We order 3 plates with 2nentres. Went there during dinner time in drive thru, didn't seem that busy. Ran out of 2 of the entre that we order. Did not give us our eggrolls and came home to find out the food was cold. Worst experience, never again! read more

I went here last night and went through the drive-thru ordered my usual plate with orange chicken and kung Pao chicken as sides and when I got home all I got is orange chicken they completely left out the Kung Pao. I was irritated I hate it when people can't get orders right. read more

They are always out of food which is actually ridiculous. The people at the drive thru are rude. I've been there multiple times and more times than not, i'm not even greeted. I was craving some Asian food and figured to order this. The Panda Express in Oakland mall is the best one. This one is terrible. I ordered through door dash and the noodles are absolutely disgusting, they didn't provide me with the sauce for the crab Rangoon's when I paid $8 for a large order. And I ordered the bigger plate for three entrees, two orange chicken and then one shrimp and paid an extra $2 roughly and only got 4 pieces of shrimp. I called the restaurant twice and they couldn't answer. $33 just for one person and it was horrible. read more

The food had a ok taste. I don't think I would go back i better off going to something in a mall. Lomein had more cabbage then noodles. And my food wasn't hot. The sauce on the chicken was under the lamp it was dry. They really need to add more if it has to sit there.. read more

Horrific! They were out of many things, including spring rolls. Then all the tables were sticky with old food and the floor was filthy. Never again. It's a shame too because I used to like Panda Express when I lived out of state. The experience was alway good, but this is a disaster. read more

The food is good and usually fresh because of the constant come-and-go of customers. The drive thru and customer service is quite another story and needs to be revamped. On several occasions the wait has been very long with no accommodations for those waiting. Twice they have offered me and other customers to back out of their narrow drive in that is very dark at night because the person in front had a "20 minute wait" on their food. Instead of making those people pull forward into a spot and bring the food out to them when it was ready, they'd rather hold up the entire line. Then, aside from this, they always seem to miss putting something in the bag. Other than these nuances, pretty good Chinese takeout. read more

Good food and pleasant service. If you can, try not to go there during prime meal hours and you'll be able to get through the line really quick and still have fresh food. I think the fact that they have a drive-thru slows down their service during rush times. read more

I'm surprised this place does not have more stars? I read the reviews and I am shocked.. I do believe it is under new management because the older reviews do not seem to add up. Came in with a large family and I was nervous because they were already busy. There were two girls up front helping my family and I. I believe the names were Madison and Chloe?? All the workers there are super nice. Greet with a smile and brighten up your day. Food tastes fantastic. I'm personally in love with the string bean chicken breast. The manager is often seen working his hardest to help with guests at a fast pace. Lobby is clean and taken care of. I won't lie later in the night when I go there's a line out the door, but the counter gets people done in a fast pace even if other guests are mean and rude to them. The most consistent Chinese experience around. Service is always well above average for fast food restaurant. The food is always hot and fresh. Most Chinese places make one or two dishes well and the rest are mediocre. Panda Express delivers consistent high quality entrees and sides no matter what you order. The restaurant is always kept very clean. So happy when I saw them opening stores outside the malls in Michigan. We drive 25 minutes each way to get this about once a month...but now they are opening a location is Roseville!! read more

I did not like it at all, the employee a little Asian girl rush us like the was a line out the door, but no others customers there ! The food was unbelievable dry, no sauce at all! Flavor was so so, I had to ask for extra Soja sauce! I't was my first and last time! Stopped inside on my lunch hour first time. The person taking orders skipped me and started helping the people behind me. I politely asked the customer if they were going first they were very apologetic however the worker all she had to say way the line stats here. Very rude. Not one nice word like I'm sorry. The customers were very nice about it but since the worker wasn't I told her I was taking my business else where. Training on how to treat customers is a must and as a first time customer I never even seen any sign. When I arrived in there I was the only one in line customer service lack of. This Panda Express location leaves a lot to be desired. The amount of food you get for the money is a rip-off, especially comparing it to Chinese restaurants where the food is much better, cheaper, and you get a lot more. They barely give you any of the entrees, even when ordering the larger plate. A side of white rice is ridiculously expensive and didn't taste very fresh. The fried rice has barely any flavor whatsoever. To top it off, they ask you if you want to donate to something when you go through the drive-thru and if you say no, they still continue to ask if you want to round up the change to the nearest dollar and donate that. I think once is enough. I also felt like they acted a bit rude when I politely said "not today, thank you." Very unfriendly, mediocre food, small quantities, and high prices. Don't recommend at all. Stick to your local favorite Chinese restaurant or even Pei Wei which is much better. read more

I ordered online yesterday to pickup at 7:00 pm. Showed up at 6:55 and didn't see any signage where to go to pick up online orders. Waited in line (sooooo slowwww) and at 7:10, got to the front of the line to have the guy grab my slip from the register and start filling it. (It was already 10 mins past when I was supposed to pick it up and it's STILL not ready?) why did I even bother to use the app and order ahead?? All I missed was the paying at the register? So much easier to use the app and pick up at the little cubby at Panera bread across the street! General's chicken wasn't even that good. And I only got 3 crab Rangoon (that were burnt) as one of my "entrees". Yeah... I think I'll pass on here again until they have their stuff all together. Five people making food and two people filling orders/working the register. No wonder it took 15 minutes to go through the line! read more

I frequent this Panda Express often, and the service and food are always spectacular. This particular night the drive thru was significantly backed up and the store itself busy. The wait was long, and because this had never happened before, I knew something was off. When I got to the window the young lady apologized profusely almost as if she expected me to immediately start yelling at her. I noticed she looked a little stressed. I asked her if she was okay. She told me they were short staffed and another worker had left, so they were falling behind. She worked quickly getting my change and food yet remained kind and professional despite the situation. I even noticed her gently squeeze the shoulder of another co-worker who was working hard to fill drink orders; the stress was all over his face. It was a quick yet sweet gesture she made and a sign of camaraderie and assurance to a co-worker. As I prepared to leave I thanked her and told her to hang in there, because no matter what anyone says, I knew they were doing the best they could with a situation that was beyond their control. She gave me a warm, genuine smile and thanked me. This Panda Express store has the best employees. I have always been greeted warmly and treated so well during each and every visit. My visit last night made me appreciate the staff even more, because despite a longer wait for myself, I saw employees band together and maintain excellent composure during a very difficult and stressful situation. Your workers are amazing here, and I was so proud at how they handled themselves. So, to Panda Express #2583, particularly Gabriel C, who took my order, I say thank you for remaining calm and facing the challenges of last night as a united team. I also apologize for any customer who may have lashed out at you rather than show some compassion and understanding as you faced a situation that was beyond your control. I love Panda Express. I was very displeased at my last visit though. I just went to pick up food for dinner to have at work. I went through the the drive thru hoping it would be quick and easy. I was very wrong. I was in line for 15 minutes. When I got to the window, they had my food ready to go (thankfully) but it took them forever to get the food to the people ahead of me. I have a feeling they ran out of whatever they ordered and has to make fresh. They should really have an area to pull forward to in this situation. They should also make the drive thru lane wider so you can leave if you need to/want to. read more

Does great customer service even exist anymore? I would take ANY type of service level at this point. Not a single person greeted us or thank us for our business. When we got to the order taking area the girl behind the counter stopped helping guest to do whatever else and then one of the cooks was telling her to mix two kinds of chicken because he wasn't sure what he had just made (they looked too similar). When we finally got our food the girl acted annoyed by us. Not a single table in the dining area was clean. And not a manager in sight to give any direction. This is the first Panda Express in our area and it's making a terrible impression. And literally as I'm writing this a customer was ignored for so long he stormed out. Worst Chinese food I have ever had. Cold old rice and small serving of sub par Gen Tso chicken also barely warm. A greasy old egg roll as well. I was not expecting much but the small size poor service and price was not worth ever returning. There is way better close by for same or better price. Awful. read more

Twice now I have placed an online order for myself and 3 other co-workers and arrived to pick it up and they don't start making up the order until I get there. Since I only have a 30 minute lunch this defeats the purpose of trying to save wait time. The last time this happened I walked in and no one else was in line, walked up and told the girl I was picking up online order. She said it would be a few minutes. Not very cheerfully either. She then proceeded to take the next customer's order and prepare it while I waited down by the cash register. After she had finished that customer's order she THEN started making mine. If I hadn't placed the online order and just walked in and ordered I would have been on my way back to work already. I asked to talk to manager who was very apologetic and threw in some free egg rolls, which were disgusting. Now that another similar place has opened up across the street I will definitely not be going back read more

Wow!! I went there for the first time on 8/20/16 and the employees were so rude! The young lady behind the counter snapped at my date when he ordering something that was out. She said it will take 5 minutes to make and was annoyed. He said that will be fine. She charged him for it but never brought it out to him. We went to ask for it, noone new what he was talking about although it was on the receipt. No apology or anything. When it was my turn to order I said was my first time here and don't know what to do, she asked the other guy to deal with me. When I mispronounced the name of the food he corrected me rudely. The food was cold and really not to good. I wont ever go back or tell anyone to go there. I do think the rude young lady working in front needs to smile and be nice to us or maybe find a job where she doesn't have to work with the public. Went to this Panda Express for lunch yesterday with my mom. Some of the chicken pieces were hard as a rock and overcooked. When one of the workers came by to ask us if everything was fine, my mom told him no and complained about the chicken. All he could say was "Oh I'm very sorry to hear that. Can I bring you anything, like soy sauce?" She said no and he walked away. I mean he could've at least offered some fresh chicken, but he didn't even try to solve the problem. Second, I went back into the line before we were ready to leave because I wanted to order my husband a carry out. One of the workers gave me a snotty attitude after I ordered and I asked if I could also have a side of crag rangoons. She looked at me and said YES very rudely like I was annoying her, and she didn't even get it for me. They then said that they needed to make more sweet n sour chicken and if I mind waiting. I said sure, that's fine, assuming it would only be a few minutes. A big line comes in, workers get all stressed out, I don't get my sweet and sour chicken for 30 more minutes. Ridiculous that we had to wait that long, and when I checked the chicken when we got to the car, it wasn't even HOT like you would expect chicken that just got done to be, it was luke warm. Never going back to Panda Express again. There are authentic chinese restaurants with better prices and better tasting food for cheaper!! read more
