I did not personally purchase the food, my work did. My work purchased Panda Express for a work party. The food was tasting great until I decided to try the fried rice. First bite in it was super crunchy and the "crunchy" bits were not breaking up when I chewed. Yeah.... they were little rocks. I am not a bird so I don't have a gizzard to process rocks through my intestines. My work is currently filing a complaint with Panda Express. If someone put these in there, hand poor sanitation practices, or maybe the distributor messed up. All I know is I would never purchase from here if I were you. Save your teeth, save your money, and save the potential health risk. I am hoping my work never orders from them again either. This is unsafe in so many ways. Food was fantastic and fresh with almost all the sides available and full which I appreciated considering how many people were inside. I came in around 1:30pm on a Saturday and it was BUSY. Line of about a dozen people in front of me but it kept moving and we were able to order in about 15 minutes. I got half chow mein half veggies with orange chicken and sweetfire chicken breast. Both sides were great! Sometimes Panda can be hit or miss depending on the quality of the sides or how close to empty the bowls of food is but even with it being as busy as it was, the sides were perfectly cooked and filled to the top for maximum freshness. I loved the sweetfire chicken breast which was not very hot! I think I'd get 2 sides of that next time. Mom got orange chicken and honey shrimp which she loved! I tried one and it was super good. Highly recommend that if it looks fresh! Overall a good experience here. I've never had an issue with this location as far as food goes, service has always been friendly and the place is always clean. It does have the tendency to have long lines which I totally understand... "quality problem" I like to say when a place is too busy. Today was the breaking point. The line went around the restaurant, I say to my dad "it goes pretty fast".... Then we stand and wait, and wait, and the line doesn't move. There are lots of people working and the line doesn't move at all. They are fulfilling online orders. There is no urgency or eye contact to the workers that there is a line backed up in front of them. No smile to say "we will be right with you". I watched one worker say that they have 10 online orders to get through. At what point do the folks that got in their cars and drove to the establishment to be served get to order? Here's the thing, I work in a restaurant that has three different online platforms for food deliveries. You can pause those for when your establishment gets too busy. The guests IN YOUR ESTABLISHMENT should have some priority. At least acknowledge and greet your guests. After 10 mins of standing without moving we left. Disappointed after a long day of serving guests at my own job. My first time at this location on Trosper and let me tell you this restaurant in the huge chain of Panda Express is tops! I was welcomed in and I must have had the look of unknown because the server thanked me for my patience and then offered a sample of anything. I decided on the mushroom chicken bowl which was delicious. The food was hot and fresh and the cashier welcomed me also. It was overall a great lunch experience costing me $12.00. I will definitely be back and kudos to all the employees and the management staff. The service plus food was superb. Girl taking orders would not listen to her superior and it was embarrassing. I felt bad for him. You know that show kitchen nightmares? I'm pretty sure that one of those restaurants closed down and then whoever was running that failed restaurant is now running this Panda Express. Food is fine but be ready for a wait. This past year I've not waited less than 30 minutes to pick up an online order. They are very clearly understaffed and staff looks exhausted and burnt out. Hire some more people. Prepare some more food. Plan breaks better. Get some more people working online orders. I even waited an extra 20 minutes before leaving my house and I've been here for almost another 20 minutes waiting to pick up my order. Ownership/corporate, whoever needs to pay some serious attention to this location. I would like to update my review from two years ago. I've been back many times after my review. If you noticed I was referring to a certain shift. My experiences since have progressed for the better. I must say a few months ago it was a little shaky with the service. The line process to order your food, followed by the check out... was taking forever. It showed that who ever was leading the team was not up to par. I believe it was noted by many others because since I've seen a shift. The staff is on point! Customer Service went up from 2 to a solid 10. Everyone understands what they should be doing and is doing it. Food is being served, check out is quick AND if you are waiting for your order due to it not being available because it is being cooked, they offered me a sample of their new spring roll. To boot, I was asked while I waited if someone has helped me three times and every time I was offered some thing for the wait. Tables were clean, drink counter was clean and aired out well. This place must have made some changes. The guy (possible manager) dipping up the food was shorting every customer. We were all shocked. Beijing beef had barely any sauce. Our chow mein was 70 percent cabbage. Looks like he was trying to make the food stretch longer. Never had this happen at any location before. DO NOT ORDER online if you expect to have your food order ready to go by the time you were notified it was ready to go. I ordered my food ONLINE at 5:45 pm, and I received an email receipt confirming they received my order at that time. On the webpage it said my food would be ready at 6 pm. So I arrived at the restaurant at that time. My order was still not ready. At 6:09 pm I received a text notification saying my food was ready. When I asked for it they told me it was "on the line." 30+ minutes and 10+ people WHO DID NOT ORDER ONLINE AND WERE WALKING IN TO WAIT IN LINE had received all their orders and mine was still "on the line." I had informed them that they received my online order at 5:45 pm and I still have not received my order. No one did ANYTHING. When my order was ready I explained to them that my order was received at 5:45 pm and I received a text message at 6:09 pm stating it was ready. The person handing me my order rudely disregarded that and said "well it's ready now." I asked him to double check my order and they missed one of the spring rolls I paid for. I do not recommend this place, they are unorganized, rude, and do not honor people who order online first then the people who just walk in and wait in line afterwards. There is no order or even an order of first come first serve. There were over 10 people in the kitchen. I know the crew are instructed to count the shrimp and that is how it is portioned out--I usually get anywhere from 6-8 pieces in my rice bowl. Today.... a whole 4 pieces!?! Took some time off from this location. Should have made it a permanent decision. This location seems to get worse with time. I waited until 730 on a Tuesday night to avoid the dinner traffic. Walked in at 740 and my favorite green bean string breast was full and waiting for me. The problem was the super greens were out. I can't have rice due to allergies and the counter associate asked me if I would wait 2 to 3 minutes for greens. He announced "greens. Customer waiting." I was rung up at 7:43 according to my receipt. At 7:50 I went up to the counter and said I would like a refund as it's been 10 minutes and I'm only waiting for greens. The female associate said they don't do refunds. I asked for a manager. Janine came up and explained they aren't allowed to do refunds. I said at this point I've been waiting almost 15 minutes for super greens and I'm just gonna go home and get something out of my fridge. She again said she could not do a refund. What's the point of having a manager if they can't perform customer service ? The one cook didn't seem to care that I was waiting I will add. He was doing other things Janine told me. Always at least a 45+ minute wait. They somehow have 10 people working but no one cashing people out. Orders will sit while they do the million online orders they have. They need to work out some type of system to be able to handle both. There should be no reason there is 20 people standing in line in store should have to wait 15 minutes to have their order taken and another 30 for someone to cash out your order. Then decided to use there bathroom. After being in the bathroom for awhile. The Manager and one of the kitchen crew. Told him he had to get out. They called him a homeless bum and threw him out. Telling him he can't ever come back into panda express. Now he is sitting on the curb outside crying so upset he can't even move. It will probably take him at least 2 hours to fully calm down. It was the right store so I had my husband call them back they said let me look into it they said yeah we threw out a homeless guy he was in the bathroom to long. My husband Said that was him but he is not homeless. They said we didn't know he wasn't homeless. We Said he has been traveling but lives in pullman wa. The Manager said sorry but we didn't know he wasn't homeless. Most Autistic people don't always dress right and take baths like they should they can easily be mistaken for homeless even in their home town. They workers there didn't even give him time to explain anything. I am very unhappy with these people. Homeless should not be treated like that either. It could have been handled better and not so aggressively towards him in my opinion. If there was a delay NOBODY communicated the delay to me or another online customer waiting - meanwhile FIVE different walk in orders are serviced.
