Ahh Panda Express. Love this place! Came to this location because I had a layover at the hotel across the street. Glad I did cause, yes! The staff there were all so incredibly nice and I even had a short convo with the girls about cookie dough junk food. Haha!! I ordered a plate with fried rice and all orange chicken so I could have leftovers. No matter what location I've been to, it's always been delicious and this location didn't disappoint. Never had I ever eaten at a Panda Express. I got sucked into going here because of a craving I got after watching something on social media about their walnut shrimp being amazing. I couldn't shake it so out to the Warwick Mall food court I went. The entree choices are listed clearly on the signage. Walnut shrimp is apparently premium with an up charge listed for their entrees. I was committed to my craving so I was in for the extra price. The service was efficient and appropriately polite. All the food choices are under heaters behind glass so you can see what your options are. Gosh. I was underwhelmed looking at the shrimp because the batter was pulling away so it had been there a bit. Got a side of fried rice in a bowl to go with the shrimp, Took my meal to the food court seating. I have to say for a mall food court, it's comfortable and super duper clean. The food was a disappointing adventure. Fried shrimp batter was a bit soggy and the shrimp were way over cooked. The sauce was very tasty and the walnuts add a nice crunch. Fried rice? It had zero flavor. I mean like really flavor neutral and it was a tad soggy. Like wet. Odd. I got a free fortune cookie. I actually didn't eat it. Honestly not sure where to begin. Ordered from here the other night and was treated extremely poorly by your cashier Analiza C. Not sure how someone with such poor people skills can be allowed to work a cash register. Someone in line was denied his food even though he gave her his receipt. Always check your orders before leaving if you are ordering "to go". I visit Panda Express whenever I am at the Warwick mall because it's the only location in this state. Having come from Los Angeles, Panda Express was one of my go-to quick meal places. I always look forward to eating my favorites and trying whatever new is on the menu. It is not unusual for me to order 3 dishes at every visit. My last visit was a disappointment. I order 3 as always and pleased with being told one of the dishes will be cooked fresh and asked me to wait. So I did. After a few minutes, I was called over and told my order was all set to go. I did not bother checking and to my dismay, I discovered they billed me for 3 dishes but only sent me 2. By the time I realized this, it was too late as I was already home. I ended up going with my girlfriend and we both never tried it before, after we ordered they ended up charging me for two bowls but we got one bowl and one plate, but that wasn't the issue, the food had 0 flavor somehow they can even make the Rangoon taste bad, and I've so far liked every single one that I've tried in previous restaurants, but this one has tasted by far the worst. The lo mein was basically 90/10 percent cabbage, with very little to none actual lo mein in it, again it tasted flavorless, even with soy sauce. Went there with my boyfriend today and it was so bad. There was 4% flavor and 200% cabbage. HOW DO YOU PUT THAT MUCH CABBAGE IN FOOD?? Might not be the perfect PE, but definitely one of the better ones. I love it that they can work very fast, serve many customers, but you do not feel any stress. Many can learn from them. Food was good (I personally think that the chicken was little soggy, but the rest was very good).
