Came here for lunch because I've been to this location before. Ordered orange chicken as one of my entrees and got mushroom chicken. It wasn't a big deal so I just kept the food. As I got to the end of my meal, theres a hair in the rice. Now, an hour after eating this food I am sick to my stomach. I got food poisoning and just keep throwing up. Panda express is panda express. Everyone has tried it at least once in their lifetime. However, this is NOT the location you would want to come in to. Regardless, if it is a quick drive thru experience, dine in, or carryout. For starters, customer service is everything. Just because it is lunch hour, and just because you hate your job, doesn't give you the sole purpose to be a jerk to your customers. Without your customers, you would not have that crappy job to give horrible customer service. My husband and I were driving by from an errand on our lunch break together, and ran in to take our order to go. Jenna had no personality, was rude, and definitely in a rush... considering it wasn't packed. Most of the items, had a long wait limit to them, or she would insist on giving you the crumbs left in the metal tray, therefore we settled for different items. We arrived at work, which is 20 mins away, to actually sit down and eat (my hubs and I work at the same employer). Upon opening our trays, it all looked dandy... Yay! Well.... Hangry isn't even half of how angry we were. First bite into my plate, the side item (vegetables) was literally cold. Not cold from the drive, cold from them not steaming it properly. These veggies honestly, probably never even touched the steamer because they were still 80% raw. I bet the entrees inside of the plastic tray, in that 20 min drive is what steamed the 20% of them. Now I am irritated, because if i wanted to heat food up when I got to work, I would have just prepared the Lean Cuisine in my freezer rather than waste $8. Then comes my husband... "the fxck?" He had NO joke... 4 small pieces of chicken to his sweetfire chicken breast entree... like nickle sized, and then had zero, absolutely zero chicken in his garlic chicken/veggie thing. It was literally all celery and onion.... So I called Panda Express to explain what happened, and the "manager", Jenny, (who does not speak very good english fyi) refused to understand what happened and why we were upset. She asked we bring our food back completely untouched, and she will remake it. Sorry honey, but I am NOT driving 20 mins from across town for a 're-do'. You can either refund me, partial refund me, even offer a "hey come on back tomorrow and Ill remake it", but no... bring back the food, untouched. When I asked for Corporate's number, I was given a personal cell phone number, that went straight to a voicemail box. So I called back, and asked Jenny why she would give me someone's personal number, or a fake number, and to please have the contact info for Corporate or a district manager, and was very quickly hung up on. At this point, I am livid. I will be saving this food, regardless of when I can have the chance to go back there, and they can have it back. read more

Here's how my Panda Express visits usually go: First bite: Man, this is great! Hits the spot. Panda was a good choice! Second bite: Huh. Third bite: (after long pull of drink) Whew. Fourth bite: Aaaand I'm done. Panda Express just doesn't even seem to work out for me. Nothing I've ever had here has ever struck me as magical, but I would have settled for even memorable. No luck. The two words that come to mind: oily and regret. One pro: they seem to have some options that aren't too gut-wrenching; the steamed rice and veggie dishes are healthy-ish options, right? Don't get me wrong, I can see the appeal. It always smells friggin' phenomenal. And I'll admit: when pondering what to eat and I'm near a Panda, I'll be damned if orange chicken doesn't always sound kind of good. But all in all, it feels like you're eating exactly what it is: fast food, in all the worst ways. Verdict: Don't sacrifice quality for convenience. Save your calories for some good Chinese food, instead of wasting it on Panda Express. read more

Went through the drive through. They were not in any way shape or form welcoming. I asked for something being told it was in the bag, it was not I had to go inside the store to get some. Not sure why this place has such bad reviews. I've been here many times, mostly through the drive through, and even at lunch, the wait wasn't bad. I used to be an orange-chicken fan, but I've been recently converted to the amazingly juicy and delicious terriyaki chicken. The sauce on top just adds to the juiciness even more until I was drowning in my drool from smelling it. The fried rice is dry and nothing special - but that's the same at all the Panda Express(es?). The large soda is probably the biggest I've ever seen - so big it might as well be illegal. Hey, I'm not complaining. Usually I get a pretty sizable portion so I can't ever finish it. The only time I've been inside is when the drive through was closed, and oh man, was the line long. The heat was probably the worst part. Please turn on the AC because the heat makes hungry customers crazy and delirious and murderous. read more

As much as I try to resist, the smell always lures me in. I was pretty excited that the new Panda Express in my neighborhood has a better selection than some of the other ones I've seen. (Probably 'cause I usually see them at airports, which never offer much of a selection.) In order to avoid feeling bloated and generally nasty afterwards, as I often do after consuming cheap Chinese food, I usually go with steamed rice (why don't they have brown rice??!!!), veggies and then one naughty side. I ordered on drive thru and after saying my order the lady on the speaker asked me to verify that everything on the screen looked correct. The screen read that I ordered all chow mein instead of half chow mein and half fried rice so I told her that and her only response was 'yeah' and 'please pull forward to the window'. I was very confused by her answer but proceeded to pull forward. Good thing there indeed was half fried rice in there when I opened my plate but the customer service is just rude and needs to learn how to talk/explain to their customers that maybe their screen isn't working properly or whatever the reason was. Also i ordered broccoli beef and let me just say there was not a single piece of beef! And I mean not the tiniest piece..all broccoli! This is my first time at the Panda Express. I got the black plate with one side and three others. One I got was the string bean. There was no taste to it all all. Like eating beans straight out of the bag. The Broccoli and beef had these long stems on them that they didn't bother to trim. Very disappointed in the taste of the food. The place over by Walgreens has much better food and the portions are good. I guest stick to what is good. read more

The negative reviews are probably based on a one time visit. Sure, I've gone in here and had a miserable experience. But wait.... instead of lambasting them I spoke to the manager and you know what...problem solved. The discussion here is food, service, and cleanliness. The food is good and fresh as far as fast food goes. On occasion the pot stickers need to be tossed out IMO, but if you ask them they will make you a fresh batch (and probably pass the old ones on to a drive thru customer). Horrible. Used to be typical Panda Express but things have changed for the worse. I don't know if changes have been made at all Panda's or just this one as I don't go often but the container I got my food in was much smaller than any time I've ever had Panda Express. The food was also really bad; the sweetfire chicken breast was mostly pineapple and onion with hardly any chicken, the chow mein was really dry and had a weird taste, and the orange chicken was also dry and some of it actually had some gristle like substance in it. This is consider a default place if I am near and hungry. Orange chicken is my fav!! My experience here another hit or miss type of place. One day it be on point and the next it's like they fired the best cook. I order orange chicken with chow mein and then I was given a bowl with light noodles extra EXTRA cabbage and orange chicken soup. I am very upset with my service today. This is our panda we go to when we want to have a fast night out. Bought 2 plates and one was broccoli beef and I had all broccoli NO BEEF. The only beef if you even call it beef when it looks like the size of black pepper was small scraps that was stuck in the broccoli or juice. Very disappointed. Almost $9 for broccoli. I drop by this location every couple weeks at lunch. They seem to always have fresh options on the line and the service is generally solid (friendly counter service, no long lines, etc.). Drive Thru Experience: How many times must I say "sauce on the side" and you repeat back to me "sauce on the side" and then you put the sauce on it and not on the side. Maybe I am enamored by the novelty of a drive thru that doesn't sell a cheeseburger or burrito, but I dig this Panda Express. I like the food, and based on the wait times, it's probably pretty fresh. I've tried several things on the menu, and my favorites include broccoli and beef (pretty standard), string bean chicken, and kung pao chicken. I prefer them with steamed rice, but you can get chow mein or fried rice on the side. The potstickers are awesome, and if you're looking for a fatty treat, try the ragoons. I was alone for the night so I decided to go through drive thru and get some dinner for myself. This was my first time coming to this location. I came on a wednesday evening around 6, and it was kind of busy. However the drive thru line moved really fast, and i got my food right away. Very good service and my food was hot. Panda was good when it first came out and then it over-franchised. Now for $8 to $12 I got enough food for about half a person. The portions are tiny and the food (this is my 4th time here) is always stale. They seem to be taking the healthy fad beyond the limits and its killing the food quality. If your eating at Panda Express, you should already know that you are not getting gourmet Chinese food. Panda Express serves express Americanized Chinese food. It's okay. It'll fill you up. It's what I usually eat because it's one of the few places around work that I can run out within 30 minutes to grab some lunch.
