I'm not quite sure how the reviews are so low. I have eaten at this location for years and have never had even one complaint. The service is always quick and kind. This particular location is always clean and wonderful to eat in. I usually order a Take Two with the Fuji Salad and some sandwich. The Fuji Apple salad is one of my favorites. I love the blue cheese, crunchy Apple chips, romaine, sweet apple dressing, and moist chicken. Last time I ordered the Chicken Rancher. My son love their Creamy Tomato Soup. It's warm and delicious. I entered Panera for a late lunch at 1:45 PM. I approached the self order tablets to place my order. I ordered the Fiji Apple Chicken Salad. I also ordered a cup of the French onion soup. I did not order a beverage as I just wanted their filtered water from the beverage dispenser. I tapped my credit card to process my receipt after entering a tip. I took my receipt and credit card and made my way back to the tables. I glanced around as I walked through the dining area and noticed how clean and organized the dining area was, with no dirty dishes or debris on the vacant tables. There were only two other occupied tables. I then made my way back to the beverage center and filled a water glass with ice and filtered water. I then returned to my table. Six minutes later a pleasant young man came to my table a nd delivered my food, asking me to enjoy my lunch before he departed. My soup was hot and delicious, being perfectly seasoned. I decided to eat all of the soup while it was hot before I turned to my salad. The salad was well proportioned and had good attention to detail in its composition. The romaine was crisp and fresh. The Fuji apple pieces were cold, tart and flavorful. The onions were a tad bitter, however the sweet Apple dressing was a good touch to counter balance to the onions, Partially through the salad, the young man came by and dropped off a second napkin, and inquired if I was enjoying my meal. This location on Holly Ave is my favorite Panera location. They are efficient and get orders out in a timely fashion. Employees are nice. The food is good, too. This is a descent Panera bread location. Staff is always so friendly and helpful. Service is prompt and speedy. Bakery has various selections. Seating is limited on busy hours. Overall it is clean the facility and staff are constantly cleaning. You definitely see a bunch of office people, students and interviews being conducted here. If you haven't signed up for the Sip Club, what in the world are you waiting for? It has paid for itself ten times over! Being able to get a refill every few hours, is super helpful for those of us who travel. This location is in a very convenient location with ample parking. Love the patio they have outside as well. Every employee we interacted with were pleasant and helpful. Can't speak to food quality as we didn't eat here, but all soda, coffee, tea and flavored drinks were in stock. Worked poll location on Holly near Panera for our most recent election and ate here 4 times. This review focuses on the swill they call French Onion soup. Broth tastes like a watery Campbell's soup. Instead melting cheese on top they threw about 10 shreds of unmelted cheese on top and there were no croutons (traditional in French Onion soup). A good casual spot for lunch. I think they are a little overpriced but they do pride themselves on using quality ingredients all the time. Really disappointed in our last order from this location. Typically the service and prep is terrific. Ordered 2 salads, one with side of apple and the other with bread. No bread in our bag. My wife's salad had a hair in it. I ordered the Fuji Apple salad and didn't realize the onions would be cut so long. It's a salad, not a burger. read more

Came in the other day, just a normal drive by for their tuna fish sandwich, which I love. This visit however, was worth mentioning. I got in line, and there both registers were occupied by...how should I put this?...two very slow ordering folks. Not a big deal, they were just out enjoying there day...not in any hurry and so, I just stood there and waited. The day manager, I assume, noticed my wait time and when it came time to take my order, he didn't charge me. This was TOTALLY unnecessary...I really didn't wait that long. I even tried arguing with him, politely, to not charge me...but he insisted and before I could whip out my card, he already crumbled up the receipt and moved me along the pick up area! Amazing. It just isn't every day you see someone go out of their way to provide customer service like this. I would still argue I didn't need to be given my sandwich for free...but I really appreciated it. I ordered Panera Delivery which consisted of a large Fuji apple salad with extra chicken and dressing. I did receive my order on time, but didnt get extra dressing as requested and paid for. The salad was wilted and brown and the chicken(which I also paid extra for) was pink so I assumed raw. Oh and there were only two FUJI APPLE chips in it and no actual apples. I picked a small portion of lettuce out that I could eat and tried not to eat the chicken. This was frustrating because I had a long day and was really hungry. Either way this order was very unsatisfying. Also, at about midnight got really sick. I attribute this to the food because I never vomit or have stomach issues. I paid $37.58 for my order and was given an order totaling $22.50. Called the manager to request a refund for the difference. This Panera bread is interesting... first of all management is always having their meetings in the front of the store (meetings interviews you name it) and it's a tad annoying especially when the service is crappy. I was waiting in line and Kourtnie was hanging around the front, just walking back and forth looking at me and not say anything but she looked confused if she should be doing something. She then walked to the register and said "I can help you right here" and that was the only thing she said to me, I stood there looking at the menu there was not a hello, a smile, a how are you, nothing. I ordered the Turkey Avocado BLT and it was so sloppy. The bacon was really hard and chewy, my pickle was old and they put into end of the tomato in my sandwich. There are usually a ton of people working in the kitchen and it always seems a bit disorganized, like there is not a very good flow. Good luck getting your food in a reasonable amount of time during the lunch rush. I've waited over 25 min for my food. Managers are all over there place today and tables are dirty. Because my food did not taste fresh today I question their quality control and freshness routines. As I'm writing this review their was a man working there who went and adjusted the trash under the coffee creamer area then proceeded to go back to the kitchen and did not wash his hands. Tired of no service. I meet regularly at this location. Kiosks ready but never a human at the entrance. Today, I ordered a simple iced coffee and wiped off my own table for the group. Only 2 other customers in the building waited a LONG time for their drink to go. I kiosk ordered and had to go ask about my drink which had apparently been given to someone else. I had to figure this out from the arguments and hysteria of the employees rather than a simple explanation. Waited some more while an off duty employee (Afr. Amer with dreadlocks) distracted his on duty friends even more than they distracted each other and eventually proceeded to make out with his girlfriend at the pickup window. Eventually they took the show out to the front entrance for a good half-hour to welcome customers. I know the restaurant industry is changing but it seems this location and its morning employees on April 16, 2023 have done away with customer service and professional behavior altogether. I'm grateful to the kiosk for taking my order and my money while still suggesting a tip. Uh no! Oh... and the drink was not what I ordered. I just gave up. Sigh. read more

I ordered food online for curbside pickup. I put in the comments that I wanted the free military coffee. I got my food and told the employee that I would like the free military coffee. He asked me which coffee I would like, went back inside, and then came right out and said they don't offer it anymore. He said the manager wouldn't allow it. This location is A-OK in my book. My husband on the other hand rolls his eyes to this place -- referring to it as overrated. Ha ha. Therefore, if and when I do get to dine here, it is not with him. Luckily one of my children enjoys this place just as much as I do, and so Panera Bread has at least one young loyal customer. This is known because my child chooses to eat here at any chance she can get. My child loves to order the mediterranean sandwich with macaroni and cheese. I will default to any of the soups in a bread bowl if I haven't decided on one of the other many healthy choices. I really do like their mediterranean sandwich. When we order meals, they come with a choice of bread, chips, or an apple. In the past a cookie as given as a side as well. Had lunch here today and it certainly hit the spot! Ordered the pick two combo option, and got the half Sierra turkey sandwich with a Greek salad. The bread that the sandwich was served on, (Asiago Cheese Focaccia) was to die for! Tasted really fresh and soft--just hate when you bite in to a sandwich and it hurts the roof of your mouth because the bread is too hard. Service was good, but if you are in a hurry, you may want to pass. It took about 15 min to get our food, but it was definitely worth the wait. They have several great options on the menu and the ingredients are fresh and even include vegetarian options. Love that THEY bring the food to YOU... no standing in line or having to walk up and grab your own plate. Also, who doesn't love a place that gives a free cookie with every meal?! The ooey gooey chocolate chip deliciousness was the perfect sweet treat to end my meal with..Yum! If you're looking for a fairly quick, healthy fresh, sit down meal.. I recently ordered a delivery from Panera. I ordered online, and I was greatly impressed. I could customize each item, except can't change out flatbread, and got to make my sandwich to my preference. I then was able to get my meal in time for my lunch break. If you order ahead, you can schedule the approximate delivery time. Since this is a new process, the drivers are still learning the areas for delivery. I was given a window of about 5 to 7 minutes for my food to arrive, and at the 7 minute mark, there was the delivery driver. Another neat feature, you can sign up for text alerts for when your food in on the way. They also email you to let you know when your order is out for delivery. The food was warm, I had the tomato soup, yum! My sandwich was just how I wanted it. Definite on my order rotation for work lunches. read more

First time at Panera. Good parking area, large, well lit, easy access from Holly Ave. and San Pedro Dr. Lots of different seating styles...something for almost any taste. Some with sunny window views, others sort of quiet and secluded. Some outdoor seating and it was in use on this last weekend in December. The place is clean and neat...no issues at all. Waiting area is about zero if you need to meet someone before starting your order. Counter order from wall mounted menus. Pretty straightforward menu with enough choices to suit most tastes I would guess...soups, salads, sandwiches and combinations. Medium and large serving sizes offered. Ordering is easy and leaves you with an electronic pager and a drink container to fill on your own. We were there at the end of the lunch hour and there was still a crowd but finding a table for three was no problem. Less than five minutes after ordering, our food was brought to us by a server. The two item choices were in bowls and/or on platters. The two item selection includes a side...Chips or apple or one other item. My soup and tortellini and chips were good. Soup was edibly hot, same with the tortellini. Chips were above average. My wife had soup and a half sandwich with an apple. Sis had soup, sandwich and chips. We were all drinking water...our preference. Everyone was satisfied with their food. Good presentation, correct temperature, reasonable quantity. No plastic utensils or styrofoam bowls and plates, all ceramic and stainless with plastic drink cups. Service was adequate and polite. Servers were neatly dressed and personable. Contact time is limited...it's busy in there. Within a few minutes of us finishing our food, our empty plates and bowls were spirited away for the dishwasher. There was no rush but it was clearly time to leave. My only complaint and it's very minor...no WIFI...local cell phone service was not absent but signal strength was only one marker. Overall, it was good...food, service, atmosphere, staff, parking, all good. I will go back. My sis introduced it to us. My wife liked it. I didn't check the restrooms for cleanliness but I'll bet they're good given overall maintenance levels. read more

Rest of the staff kept busy in the back and occasionally popped their heads out to view the line of customers waiting to be helped. We had a great meal here EXCEPT for Panera putting caffeine into their lemonades. Our grandson had what we thought was a benign, normal strawberry lemonade only to find out later it was "charged" (as Panera calls it) with caffeine. I was up in what is no man's land for me (anything North of Jefferson, basically) and Yelped my way to this "bakery and cafe." I place the quotation marks because I'd say these words are a bit misleading, albeit not necessarily in a bad way. It's just that, I thought I was heading to some local spot, only to walk into what looked very much like the Panera I'd been to in Queens, New Yawk. I asked the cashier and she confirmed by suspicions, they're owned by Panera. Now, this didn't necessarily ruin anything for me, as I like Panera and don't completely hate chain restaurants, but my expectations quickly changed. I went from thinking I was going to get some fresh-baked goods and cool and unique little treats and resigned to getting bread and cookies that folks all over the States were getting as well. C'est la vie. I was pot committed as far as eating here so I opted for the soup and sandwich deal for $6.89. I got a ham and swiss sandwich and french onion soup, as well as a chocolate chip cookie. The sandwich was good, if lacking anything to make it stand out from something I could throw together at home. The french onion soup was tasty and had a good amount of mozzarella, so part of me wished I'd just order a cauldron of it. I'd consider going back for it, actually. The cookie seemed fresh out of a plastic wrapper and reminiscent of the type of cookies they sell in bodegas in the hood in NYC---which means it didn't really match the soup and bread in terms of ingredients or otherwise called into question the ingredients in everything I had. My wife had a soup and sandwich deal too and didn't offer any of her sandwich (tacaña!), but I did taste the soup, broccoli and cheddar, and found it on par with the cookie.
