The restaurant is clean quiet & cozy. Clean rest rooms to use should the need arise. Especially nowadays during the coronavirus pandemic many places no longer let you use their rest rooms. Craving a nice cup of soup, salad and chai tea latte. My drink was made fast which was very nice, however was so hot that I had to search for the sleeve, it almost burned my hand. I had to wait longer for my food. I decided on the chicken and rice soup however, what I got was more like a cream, very condensed just rice and chicken stew. Yuck. I was in a rush. Had to go back to the office. Right after I picked up my order, I looked in the bag, no side. I had to go back and ask for my Apple. Unfortunately, not a very good experience! And my salad was just OK, only one small dressing, couldn't finish. I'm not sure if I will ever go back to this location. read more

I've been going to this panera for a couple of years. Lately, past six months or so, it's gone downhill fast. Not sure what's going on with management but I'm hearing employees yelling the F-bomb, orders are really slow, and it's a bit too dirty. Also, I understand helping the homeless but they seem to be camping for long periods in the back near the bathroom. Kind of unnerving to have them stare at you when you try to use the facilities. Lastly, apparently the manager is using her position to support social justice against white men. I'm assuming the election stress has something to do with that. read more

Pretty good food and the prices aren't bad! I go to Panera bread every now and then but when I do it's usually pretty good.

Everytime I think of soup, I think of Panera! On a cold winter night, it was just one of my cravings to grab some of my favorite broccoli cheddar soup, go home and relax. It always hits the spot and is best paired with the French baguette to dunk into! The soup is so creamy and filling. And the baguette is crispy but chewy and soft in the inside. I love the combo! Tonight I did the "you pick 2" deal and ended up trying the BBQ chicken salad. It was very tasty. The salad had romaine lettuce, black beans, fire roasted corn, red pickled onions, BBQ sauce and frizzeled onions on top with sliced chicken pieces with a bbq ranch dressing on the side. Although the salad was small, paired with the soup and bread it was a complete meal. The service was good and the restaurant was clean. The vibe is so cozy and chill that I could have brought my blanket and hung out by the fireplace.Definitely a thought for next time! read more

I've been to this Panera many times, always good service even though it can get very busy. Today however I experienced excellent customer service! I ordered the Tuesday special baker's dozen bagels through the app for my mom to pick up later in the day which is something we do often as the bagel selection is usually limited by the end of the day due to the special. This morning however, I was half asleep and forgot to chose for the pick up time to be later in the day when I placed the order. As soon as I noticed I called them to inform them the bagels would be picked up later. When my mom arrived to get them, the order could not be found. My mom spoke with the manger there who gave her the last 8 bagels they had left and a discount on some pastries. After she told him we frequent Panera often, he credited my account with $30 worth of coupons for future use for our troubles! I'll return back to any Panera time and time again! read more

The second time, they warmed the croissant and threw it into the bag, not wrapped in any type of paper or foil. Complete garbage! I ordered a bread bowl turkey chili for my co worker. I ordered myself a pick 2 asiago focaccia grilled cheese and another pick 2 order for another coworker. Lets start with the fact that the turkey chili was just in a cup no bread bowl on the side or anything. Glad I paid extra for that. My sandwich has green spots and is hard as a rock on the edges...all this for 30 dollars are you kidding me???? This is why I don't eat at Panera and after 5 years of not eating at Panera guess this place is permanently crossed off my list! This location along with so many other Panera bread locations has gone downhill. Very irritating that they handle the mobile orders first and have the patrons that have actually come into the restaurant and ordered to be the last one served. This seems to be everywhere, where they unfortunately cater to mobile orders and make them priority as opposed to the individuals who have actually walked into their building. It's also irritating that there is missing product most of the time. By dinner time you can just forget about anything being there. Employees there are good and work hard but unfortunately there aren't enough employees at this location. Just makes it harder for the ones that are already working there. read more

I was an employee at this location the management is ridiculously rude to their employees and never help when it's busy. All the food is frozen everything!! This was probably my all-time best experience at any Panera Bread restaurant. My aunt and uncle treated me to a Friday morning breakfast. They both chose breakfast sandwiches and I picked a quiche with some hot chocolate. I *love* Panera hot chocolate. There were TONS of employees there that morning so service was quick and friendly. Everything was clean and well stocked. A manager (I assume she was a manager) enthusiastically explained Panera's program to support breast cancer research. She also told me that there were so many employees on hand because of a big catering order. My aunt and uncle ate their food without comment. I thought my quiche was good (which is saying a LOT because I hate eggs). My hot chocolate hit the spot on that gloomy morning. Granted, there might be better restaurants and bakeries, but Panera is Panera. My family and I went to this location and while the food was fresh and tasty, the order was completely messed up. We ordered over $100 worth of food, and baked goods. All the baked good were left out of our bags, luckily we noticed when we got to car. We went back in the store. They apologized and packed up the baked goods for us. When we got back to the car we checked again to make sure the correct number of baked goods were there and they had gotten it wrong again. We went back a third and final time and finally got everything. Then when we got home we noticed we had the wrong salads. I have worked retail and in restaurants before and it is tough work, no doubt. And my heart goes out to people working in those labor intense industries. But it was the incorrect salads that motivated me to write this review. Not only did the baking area messing up, but also the cooking/food prep area. Most of time I end up here, it's not too crowded or loud, fairly convenient for the area (good place to kill some time if you're dropping your car at the nearby town fair tire FYI), clean and friendly. I ordered a few items for curbside pickup. The wait was longer than expected. I received tomato soup and ordered chicken noodle. So I had to get out anyways. The delivery person was pleasant. Could have gave me a little something extra for the wait and the incorrect order. I used to leave full after a meal there but seems like everything shrunk and they didn't give me the bread for my soup. Maybe the cut that out. While waiting for our food, multiple people after us received their food before us. I kindly asked if mine was coming up soon & the employee dropped the plate on the counter, spilling my soup over, & said "here". We grabbed our food headed to our table to learn they didn't give us forks for our salads & the 2 extra baggets I paid for. Went to ask for the extra baggets, employee grabbed 2 slammed them onto the counter & sarcastically said "here you go". I go to Panera about once a month. This location was is as good as any other Panera. Decently fast service with a good selection of healthy options. The noise level isn't an issue unless you go during a busy time (lunch or dinner). There is a mix of hard working employees with some not so hard working! I go to Panera beard all the time in waterbury and never had any complaints. But I went to this one and got chicken noodle soup to go. A bowl of soup that I pay over 6$ for. But I put a low rating because it's so simple to pour soup in a cup and all I got was broth. All broth. I was going to go back but I live 40 min. Away. So I spent almost 7 dollars for a cup of chicken broth. My friends didn't believe me so I drank the broth to get to the bottom to see how much noodles and chicken I had. It's Panera. If you love Panera, I'm sure this location won't disappoint you taste wise. As far as seating goes, there is a nice fireplace area with seating but it is almost always occupied- bummer. Maybe there's a waiting list for the spot, who knows? Otherwise, there's some tables and some booths, and good luck finding a clean one. I don't know if it's a lack of staffing, or if it's just so busy the dining room staff can't manage to keep up, but there's always a big pile of dishes at the garbage can, and every table is dirty and crummy. The tables are also pretty close together, but standard for Panera. The parking is generous, as it's in a major plaza. The employees aren't memorably friendly or great, but not rude. read more

Only two stars. Price is overinflated for quality of food. Over the years I've tried it again and again hoping and praying for that goodness they had when they first opened. So I've given them three tries recently. Every time they are out of what I want. Soup with bread bowl? No bread bowls. Tonight a Turkey Avocado BLT? Oh we're out of sourdough bread. You want broccoli and cheddar a different night? Oh we're out of that. All within a 3-4 hour window before they close. Sorry Panera, idk what you are now, but as this theme is a recurrent one at multiple locations and you've gotten rid of great menu items with mediocre or poor ones, change the name to honor the past. read more

We go every Sunday after church, and the service continues to get worse. Even if a manager is present it just seems to be "organized chaos." A lot of the employees seem to just wonder. This week the manager spent 8 minutes apologizing to a woman whose order they screwed up. Behind this woman were 4 people waiting. The other employees just stood around, no other register was opened and we waited. The bagels are usually cut cockeyed, the top is so thin that after its toasted it's like a hockey puck. I love PB but this is most definitely the worst one I've been to. Waited 10 minutes for an iced caramel latte and after waiting the cashier askes me "sir are you waiting for something"? I love Panera the food is yummy and always seems pretty fresh. I love the "you pick 2" options and can always find something good to eat off the menu. I think that's the norm for most panera breads tho. This Panera is like what you would expect but minus some chicken or soup. I always seem to feel shorted when we get our food. I thought the lines on the bowls where a filling guide when it comes to food. I hate paying $6 for a tiny bowl of mac and cheese for my daughter and seeing the bottom of the dish through the noodles. I honestly don't even know how they serve some of the stuff they do. It's like the figure hey let's try it and see who notices or complains. The last 3 times we were here were all bad/shorted experiences. Maybe I have higher expectations but I expect roast beef on my sandwich that says it will have it. If you don't have it that's cool but tell me that or replace it with something else. Fill the bowls at least close to the line or get rid of the fill line so maybe people won't notice. The decline at this place is way too obvious! Update...went here today again and the food was delicious but the portions are just ridiculous. My husband even complained and he never complains. He might get disappointed but he's never complained or sent food back. I shouldn't be able to see the bottom of the bowl through a salad! Dropping my rating to 1 star! Love the chipotle chicken sandwich. I also buy my bread here once a week. Quality is better than regular grocery brands at about the same price. The only things I wish for here would be outdoor seating and not see the back of the store so trashy, but I don't think panera has control over those items. read more

This review is not low really because per say the food but it's low because of the customer service. If your going to eat here eat IN!!! I get better service from mcdonalds by leaps and bounds. Every time I place a order when I get home something is wrong. Now this is only in regards to if you adjust something with your meal. Like "no lettuce" or "Xtra sauce". Every time I place an order not only is it wrong but it's awful. My wife once ordered a chicken Cesar salad with the chicken on the side and the sauce as well (before you think she's particular understand she's also pregnant). So I get the bag and rush home not wanting to dissect the meal due to the fact it's so busy. I got home opened it up and I got * chicken Cesar sandwich with the chx and sauce on the side That's right all that was in the bread was onion and lettuce. This happened nearly every time unless I open up everything at the counter and who wants to do that. If your going to eat their I suppose it's fine cause the foods not that bad but if you plan to take it home for the family either open up everything or go to the Canton branch, or don't adjust their menu in any way at all. read more

Last Sunday me and my husband decided to order from Panera Bread. My husband went to pick up the food and THEY FORGOT to include in the bag a French baguette which was included in the bill. I called back and they told me to go to pick another one the next day. I started eating my broccoli soup and I gave some to my son when a piece of plastic spiral appeared on my spoon. I posted online and the only thing they told it was to send the picture in a private message so the team will check it. Today my husband went to pick up the baguette as THEY told me and the manager gave him attitude for their mistake. Professionalism is not one of strongest part of the company. I have been disappointed more times than I can remember while trying to eat at this Panera. It seems to be a management problem, but even though I've complained several times, they don't seem too responsive to fixing problems. They often seem to be "out" of menu items. Worse, this generally occurs early in the day. I can understand running out of popular ingredients (on occasion) late in the day, but this is unacceptable. On a recent occasion, we went for breakfast and attempted to get a souflee and a bagel. The souflees were "out" and the cashier said they would not be making any more (though it was 8 AM and they serve breakfast until 10 or so). After picking out a cinnamon roll instead, within a few minutes they brought out a fresh supply of souflees. Nothing like being lied to straight to your face. I love Paneras and this location does not disappoint. Parking is a little wonky. Coffee is brewed fresh every hour and I love their herbal ice teas. The new broth bowls are especially tasty. I enjoyed the garden chicken wonton. read more

Well...it's a Panera. The food is pretty good, and reasonably priced. Something to notice about this one though--it's nice and big! I met a friend here to catch up at the lunch hour and found that there was cozy, ample seating and didn't have the madhouse feeling most other Paneras do. Not bad. read more
