The manager here is so kind and goes above and beyond. I noticed her taking customers' trays when they were getting up from their tabels as we (my kids and I) were walking in. It was the first time I'd taken my three (4 and under) out to eat by myself and I was in a little over my head, but had no expectations other than we would figure out how to organize ourselves. This manager came over and asked if she could bring us our food once it was ready and asked for my name so she knew whose food to bring us. A few minutes later she brought us my tea and my kids' chocolate milks, and she brought over our food once it was ready. Shortly after we started our meal, she handed me two cookies which we hadn't ordered but just as a sweet gesture. I have ordered from Panera bread in the past and almost every time my order was always wrong or they lost our package. Today I ordered from Panera bread and they said DoorDash canceled my order even though it shouldn't be possible. I called the manager and they had even made an excuse saying that the driver had picked it up and delivered it. This is a terrible place please no one order from Here because they can't keep track of their orders or who is picking up the delivery. Located inside strip mall closer to giant and other good food options in Exton. This Panera bread is good and with recent upgrades they are easy to order. The food is always delivered fast and hot. I like their broccoli cheddar soup, tomato soups. The sandwiches are good but okay for vegetarians. Have tried their beverages and they are okay. The portions are small but they look fresh and tasty too. Interior is good and service is awesome. Parking is cramped but park opposite and walk here. read more

Stopped in to grab some lunch. Placed my order in the kiosk and then went to find a seat. Food was put on the counter pre-bagged (even though I marked in for eat in). The food was decent and no complaints with our order. It came out within 10-15 minutes after ordering; there is a patio area at this location with chairs and umbrellas. However, we ordered around 8 pm and at 8:30 pm, an employee told us they were closing at 9. For the next 30 minutes we were continuously bothered about leaving as employees stared out the window at us eating and coming up to tell us. My partner went up to ask about boxes as he didn't see them sitting on the counter and the employees made eye contact but ignored him. Around 8:50 they came up to us packing up our food and tried to take the plates from us before we were done. yelp panera self ordering was a breeze! i didn't have any trouble and would recommend, however the tap option for payment did not work. the baguette was out of stock, which was very disappointing. i loved my mac and cheese and it is exactly what i was craving. i ordered the broccoli cheddar soup, which came out with the vegetables a bit soft, so if that if your preference it would be ideal for you. the grilled cheese and tomato soup were very good and everything came out the perfect temperature. the restaurant is decorated nicely and well kept. i did not have any issues with receiving service. read more

Stopped by Saturday evening at 520pm only to find out that they were pretty much OUT OF EVERYTHING. common sense would be that in order to stay in business you should have enough product available for purchase. It's difficult to review a place that didn't have anything available except for one or 2 items that would be a last choice on a good day. Since the hospitality group took over, they have just taken this local hangout space with great soups and sandwiches and a commitment to high quality food and just ridden it straight into the ground. The charged "teas" are killing people. The new menu is garbage. They took away all the fan favorite items. And, now they use chicken pumped full of antibiotics. Stopped by to grab a quick bite and used the self checkout. Nothing about the visit was fast but I do want to acknowledge the people making the food behind the counter. I have an egg allergy which I included in my order and I as I was waiting for my food, the woman making the sandwiches said out loud "I can't touch this sandwich, it's an egg allergy" (she had contaminated gloves on". I dont think they realized I was there waiting but I really appreciated her integrity around making my sandwich. My allergy is that sensitive that cross contamination would've hurt me. This Panera branch is great! We had a mistake in our pick up order and when I called, the manager - Jen I think - was so kind, apologizing and offering me compensation options. She also let me know they have new hires in training, which is great to hear that they're finally getting more help! Reminder - this shop went through the same staffing shortage everyone else is going through but never limited their hours, and worked extra hard & under-staffed for the last 2 years. I appreciate all of the hard work their staff and management has put in to keep their doors open. We decided to get a quick grab and went to this location, the menu is good for vegetarians too. The restaurant is clean. Plenty of seating and with couches. Nice ambience; busy around noon. The ordering from menu made simple but I am a person who likes interaction with people than the iPads. I don't always go to chain restaurants. But when I do, Panera is one of them. I've been to quite a few Pareras in the region. I love my Pick-Two's. I love my free wifi. I love walking into one and knowing exactly what I will get (isn't that the very reason we eat at chain restaurants?) But not here. Not this location. Last month I got Chicken Cobb with AVOCADO as the salad in my pick-two. Half way into my meal I realized there wasn't any Avocado. So I went up to the pick up counter, they acted like they've been through it a thousand times and handed me a little bowl with a few pieces of avocado. So when I mixed it in with rest of the salad, it was just dry without any vinaigrette dressing. 2 weeks later, a co-worker wanted to go there again. This time I got the Mediterranean SHRIMP Couscous Salad. And guess what, there was no site of SHRIMP! I went to the manager this time, but again he wasn't rude but acted like he's seen it all the time. He went and got me a little bowl with a few pieces of shrimp. Again, it did not blend with rest of my salad. I would probably go there again for work lunches that are not by my choice. But when I do, I'll make sure to check EVERYTHING before eating. read more

No onion. Let me start off by saying I treat myself to a lunch out very rarely, and I was quite excited to do so. I ordered a Fuji chicken salad and an iced tea. With only one stipulation - no onions. That's it. I did not ask for a Fuji chicken salad with no Fuji, light on the lettuce, a small amount of tomatoes, and please blend the Italian and the Blue Cheese dressing together. Just "no onions". They asked for my name, but when my salad was ready, they yelled "Fuji chicken!" I asked if it was the salad with no onions, and the fellow said yes. Sigh. The salad itself, once I removed the offending items, was quite good. Lots of chicken, very fresh spring mix lettice, yummy dressing. The tomatoes weren't the best (do they grow pink tomatoes these days?), but it's a bad time of year for those. It could have used a few more walnuts and gorgonzola cheese, but overall I enjoyed it. I was just here today. I got the strawberry chicken salad. It was wonderful but wish it had a tad more dressing. I arrived at 12:30 on a Friday afternoon and the people kept piling in the door in droves for the next hour and 15 minutes while we were there. I have never seen any thing like it. But I am new to Panera Bread. What I really liked to see was, the line was long (to the door) and two older, male managers stepped in to take orders. Always a great meal here. The thai chopped chicken salad is always fresh and the napa almond chicken salad sandwich is amazing! Wife always gets the black bean soup and the bakery items are always fresh (brownies are very rich, but worth it)! Only thing to note, they really do not make a lot of extra bread so if you go in after 8pm - they might be out of a lot of bread such as the baguette etc (for soup or your side). They usually will offer another choice they have on hand though as a replacement. Staff is very friendly and nice too. Oh and make sure to use your Panera member card, usually get a free cookie every other visit or so. read more
