Ambiance is solid, it's a chain restaurant but the layout in this location is good. Service is incredible, the staff is kind, attentive, and honestly fun to be around. This is a place people can spend their money and feel good about it. Like a lot of chain restaurants, you need to know what to order. They aren't grilling fresh chicken of course, so stick with the turkey. I don't like the tomato basil bread, but I like the focaccia. There are Paneras everywhere, so find what you like and stick to it. I'm also rating this 5 stars because I've had a food issue in the past, and they made it right. It wasn't a big deal at all. A great place to WFH during the day while grabbing a bite that will be sure to keep you full. I came with a friend and this has now become one of 2 of the closest locations near us (sad). So many are closing near us so we often go to this one. What I like least is using the iPad to order. I love chatting with staff/creating a human interaction by ordering at the counter, but selfishly I also like ordering at the counter because when I order a cookie, it'll come warm from the bakery, whereas if I order from the iPad, it comes in the bag on my plate. read more

My daughter and I visited this Panera Bread location last night. It was fairly empty so we didn't have to wait in any lines before placing our food order. The restaurant looked clean and the atmosphere had a chill vibes. One thing that I noticed immediately upon entering was that no one greeted us as we entered the restaurant. We ordered from the kiosk and waited for our food to be ready as it was a takeout. I received a text that our food was ready five minutes after placing the order. We couldn't figure out where to pick up our food that was ready so we walked around the restaurant until we found a countertop that had a bag with my name on it. I felt that someone could have pointed us in the right direction as they saw us walking around clearly looking for something, but everyone stood behind the counter and just watched and didn't tell us anything. We found it on our own. We brought the food back to our hotel and ate it there. While the sandwich was a bit sloppy, it tasted great, and the soup was excellent and just what I needed. We Love Panera. This place is always packed with people from all over so they tend to run out of pastries mid to late day. But the soup is always fresh and so is the salad. Whenever my kids ask for more bread they are super courteous and generous to give them more. I think it's a clean Panera with friendly workers and fresh food. We will be back for sure. read more

I have not been to a Panera in a while and I was a bit surprised to see how much the food costs now as I see Panera as basically a fancy fast food restaurant. I was willing to let this go as prices are going up everywhere and I placed my order for pick up. I got a you-pick-2 of a Caesar salad and half a toasted frontega chicken sandwich and a baguette. The you pick 2 is much less of a deal these days as most things cost extra. The food was ready quickly, which was much appreciated and clearly marked at the pick up bench. The half sandwich was quite tasty but it is about half the size it used to be and not all that filling. The Caesar salad and the baguette were pretty mediocre. One of the few chain restaurants we don't have in Hawaii. So was very happy when friends recommended lunch here. Enjoyed the dark roast coffee and coffee bar. You can choose up to five different roasts including decaf. They have an equally wide variety of tea options as well. Ordered the chicken Caesar and it was tasty and filling. i was appalled at how unaccessible this restaurant was to wheelchair users. I took my 92 year old grandmother here who is pushed in a wheelchair to get around. Not only was there no ramp in from of the walkway, but there were no handicap spots directly in front of the restaurant. The walkways within the restaurant were barely large enough for us to get by. Not to mention the doors to enter and leave did not have any handicap buttons. How is that safe? If there was a fire and I was in the bathroom how would she have gotten out? Not to mention not one employee offered to help her out, clear a table for us, or hold the door as they saw me struggle to hold the door at the same time as pushing her wheelchair. 100% disappointed that a chain such as panera can be so unaccessible. read more

On par panera food. Why I'm giving a 2-* review is because of the lack of inventory. I tried ordering a steak and cheddar sandwich and it said they were out of cheddar, and they'd give me a different cheese for a surcharge. (This rubs me the wrong way). Then I wanted a salad that had avocado- and they were out of avocado. Then I wanted a sandwich in focaccia, and they said they were out of focaccia. I thought maybe the machine was broken, so I went to the staff member. They were indeed entirely out of everything that you'd think they wouldn't be out of. I ended up resorting to the average chicken frontega sandwich and fuji apple chicken salad. The only pro I can think of is that the salad was tossed in the perfect amount of dressing. And it didn't take long to get my order. There you have it. A sub par panera experience. Panera Bread has set out to dominate the mediocre food market and has largely succeeded. Eating here was like watching tv in a bright room with the volume down. There is enough light and sound to know you are watching tv, but not enough to hear what is said or know what is going on. The flavors of the food were like that. It was food, I am sure. I love Panera for their healthy options. I usually get the chicken noodle soup, black bean soup, salads, sometimes pizzas, sandwiches, bagels, cream cheese... lol just realized that I love everything here! But this review is for something else. While shopping in Target next to Panera, I just got tempted to eat something at Panera because it had been a while since I tried something at Panera. I didn't know what I wanted to it, just went in blindly and I saw this amazing surprise! They had lobster rolls!!! I was initially skeptical about the quality and quantity as Panera is not really a seafood place. But my taste buds had decided that it was a lobster day. I ordered it and received it with a side of pickle. I won't deny that the size of the roll was small but it was filled with cold lobster meat! I was fully satisfied with the quantity and quality of this roll. I am not sure if it's going to stay on their menu forever, but if I see it, I will have it. It's a bit expensive though, but it's lobster and you don't get it cheap anywhere in New England! read more

I should have not gone to Panera this morning. I have other choices, next time I'll choose differently. I was excited to go in and get a breakfast sandwich and a lunch sandwich today. Unfortunately, Andrea' was the Framingham Panera employee I got to take my order. She was not helpful at all - arrogant, rude and basically bothered by my lack of understanding her job, Panera's systems and Panera's sandwiches. The "point system" was down and when I asked if she wanted me to swipe my tag for points, she pointed to a signed taped to her register that said the system was down and acted as though I should have known that. I noted to her my displeasure with her attitude towards me and her lack of assistance, she casually said "I'm sorry" with no presence of recognition that she was sorry in any way. Again more bothered by me than anything. She was also the person that helped make my sandwich - i should say threw my sandwich together. Not the usually faire I've received prior to this visit. I understand people need to work - but I believe this employee needs more training and maybe kept away from customer service jobs. Maybe consider a better position where she can be all about herself and not have to consider anyone else - remove this employee from customer service - she doesn't want to provide service and shows no care or concern for your customers. Also, please allow her the information that the customers are the true providers of her wage and her need of a job - AND that we don't work for Panera so we may not understand or have knowledge of the items noted on the menu. The service is good and the overall vibe is nice, but the execution of the food and beverage is horrendous. They charge $5.29 for a bland sandwich between two pieces of bread, and do not follow the actual order which to me is a cardinal sin. The frozen lemonade is all ice, and lacked any substance which is disappointing. The quality of the food has gone down year after year and this location is no exception. No matter the time of day, the food looks thrown together in a hurry with no regard to recipe or appearance. Normally I just get a sandwich and soup and it's nothing to write a review over. However, this time I got the vegan quinoa broth bowl and it was definitely something to be ashamed of (see photos). The flavor was good and they are always quick with getting food out so two stars for them. But, I can think of at least five other places to spend my $10 for a simple lunch. I always forget about this place for some reason when I am trying to decide what to get for lunch! They have such a great selection of salads, soups and sandwiches! I love that they give you the pick 2 option so that you don't have to stand there forever trying to pick just one (even though 2 options still takes me a while because I love almost everything!) I tend to always get the broccoli cheddar soup and some type of sandwich. The last time I had a salad - the chopped salad it was really good and loaded with toppings. Their fresh tea and lemonade are always really fresh. They have a great bakery section too. Their bagels and pastries are really good but on the really bad for you side:) They do take call ahead orders which I definitely suggest if you are coming here to grab something quick on your lunch because the line can sometimes be out there door! read more

Very unorganized. Been here four times and only once was I not upset with how this place is run. I didn't know ordering for carry out would take 25 minutes. Today, I called for a pick up. Was told it will be there 10-15 min. I Got there 20 min after I called and they lost my order and had to start making it again. Then later I found out there was no chicken in my salad. read more

Dirty and untrained staff, The person who takes the order doesn't pay attention to details of your order they get it wrong. They have staff who don't wash their hands and then touch food. This Panera location is quite disappointing, and unfortunately it's the one that's local for me. Over the last few weeks, I've gone there multiple times in the morning (because I recently got a coffee subscription), around 7:00 a.m., when it is not busy, and several time either the coffee dispenser (light roast) has been empty or there has been no half and half. These were during off peak times. One of these times I was trying to engage in employee to help, and four or five employees were all in a conversation with a DoorDash or Grubhub delivery driver. Sometime ago, before the pandemic, I was in there and employee with a cart bumped right into me without even acknowledging this. I've been in many Panera locations where the management is much more on top of things. Update: This morning (just left), with a nearly empty restaurant, there was no light roast coffee or sugar. I wish I could give this place three or four stars, but nearly every single time I'm there they make a mistake on my order. Thankfully, the quality of food is always good and reliable (with the exception of their tuna salad, which I think is gross). The service is extremely spotty; if you're lucky enough to get a manager to take your order (which only seems to happen when it's mobbed), then you're lucky... Otherwise, good luck. On a positive note, their bussers (the folks who clean the dining area) hustle, so it's almost always neat and clean. I've always enjoyed Panera's food - I still believe that it is a tastier alternative to other fast food chains. However I had a very negative experience with the business itself recently. I've never left a review before, but this has soured my opinions so greatly that I wanted to write this. I ordered a take-out meal in-person. When I got home with it, I realized that my sandwich was missing (I had the sides, just not the sandwich). Ok - mistakes happen. I called customer support, and they issued me two $10 rewards to cover the cost since I would need to place a new order to get my meal. This is great, since that would more than cover the cost to order a new sandwich to be delivered. However, the ordering system only allowed for one $10 reward to be applied. With the inflated price of the sandwich online, this would mean that the order would cost $4.49 + tax and fees. Whatever. BUT, the system also does not allow for online orders less than $5 after rewards, before taxes and fees. Therefore, to get my lunch, I had to add another item to my order. This brought the total up to $13.39. At this point, my $11.99 sandwich effectively cost me over $25 to receive. At this point, Panera's mistake and lack of appropriate, usable rewards has cost me much more than is reasonable. I reached back out to customer support, and requested a refund for the online order. They requested that I provide the amount of the refund along with some other information. I provided that, and they appeared to accept the request and indicated that it would be processed within a month. This is great - problem and pains resolved. I received the refund later the same week. However, it did not cover the cost of the online order. I emailed customer support back about this mistake, but was told that no, they had refunded the correct amount and to call if I had any questions. Now, over a month after the order, I have spoken to a supervisor. I was told that they had refunded only the missing in-person sandwich, and because there were no mistakes made in the online order, that the entire cost of that order would be on me. It was my fault for not driving back to the physical location during my lunch break and placing another in-person order which could use both rewards to cover the entire cost. I am well aware that the customer is not always right - customers should not have that mentality, and companies should not have that policy. However, their mistake cost me more money than it should have. They should own their mistake, and make it right - not add undue stress and anxiety on those who are impacted. read more

My most recent visit was so cringe worthy! I not only waited over 10 minutes for my order (you pick 2 soup and salad) but the interactions between employees were so unprofessional! I heard one employee use the F bomb clearly to her manager (friendly banter) and the manager was the only one preparing the orders. He didn't change his gloves once in the time I was there watching. At least 4 employees standing around, doing something close to nothing within 15 ft of order area. Waited over 12 minutes to order - near empty restaurant. WIFI was down.
