We visited this Panera location yesterday and the service was quite poor. Several of our orders were wrong. The cashier seemed upset that we wanted to have it corrected. When we received the order, the sandwich appeared thrown together. The kitchen area appeared disheveled. Several items weren't ready or available. They just need to regroup. read more

The food is not bad for fast food, but my goodness, you can blow through $10 and not have enough for a drink to get a tiny, half sandwich and what looks like no more than 6 ounces of soup. Went to this location for the first time last night. I love the atmosphere of the restaurant. I know Panera is a chain restaurant, but each location is different in my opinion. The person at the cash register and the person who prepared my food were both really nice and respectful. Customer service is very important to me. Great job to the two of them! I ordered delivery. The half of my order that actually arrived was good. I called immediately upon realizing there was food missing. Was told it would be sent back out. An hour later the store is closed and I still haven't received the rest of my ordered. I will be calling again in the morning. Very disappointed! read more

Well I came back to Panera bc of their bowls which were very health minded and not filled w tons of bread which is their signature item hence the name of the joint. So I was excited about these awesome bowls on their secret hidden menu. I was even recommending them to my nutrition patients and pt clients as great place to grab a light bite but now they took away the menu and therefore I am out. We removed them from our rec places to grab a light bite so oh well. The food is fresh for sure they just took away all my likes. read more

I go to a lot of Panera's but I've never been to one that was so disorganized and chaotic. There were 2 people on front of me in line, 8 employees totally behind the counter, and they were all scrambling around. After 5 minutes of standing and not being helped, the lady directly in front of me walks out. When I did order, the frontega chicken I ordered came out soggy and wet from the watered down chicken. We just moved to the area. We stopped into this Panera location expecting it to be like other locations. As far as the food is concerned the food was well done and good as always. What impressed me was the staff. We were there about 9:30 but each person I spoke with along the way was as fresh and friendly as they could be. It brought me back several times now. No matter who I speak with, the attitude is always positive and welcoming. This says a lot about the restaurant's management. I will keep coming back for the solidly good fare and refreshingly friendly staff. read more

Generic Panera bread that we frequent for lunch orders. Generally order take out here, have had correct orders 4/5 times we've ordered. Food is always hot & tasty. I did have an issue when placing an order by phone. Whoever took my order made a rude comment about the amount of food we were ordering ie "Jeez you guys must be hungry..." Um I'm ordering for 6 people jerk face, I will gladly take our large order elsewhere, this was also the order that was incorrect when we checked the bag. I'll first say that typically, I'm a big fan of Panera!! Especially now that their items don't contain any artificial ingredients. This particular location is a 5 minute drive from work and home so it's a really convenient go-to. But I have to say that the last 4 or so times have been pretty disappointing. Mainly because they keep getting the order wrong!! I'm currently on the Whole30, so Greek salad has been a staple. Last week I got one from this location and used the kiosk to customize my order. I added extra chicken and extra olives plus added some strawberries.....my salad had no olives or strawberries (the latter cost extra!) Today, I ordered the same salad - but regular chicken and this time there was no chicken!! So frustrating considering this diet requires a decent amount of protein. That's not the issue, though. Carelessness with ingredients is potentially dangerous if someone has a severe food allergy. With today's salad, the portion was small. I mean, the lettuce alone didn't even fill up half of the to-go box. There have been other times where my order is wrong (i.e. missing an item, something I didn't order) and the staff is not helpful in solving the issue, and rather seems insulted that I pointed out that the order was incorrect. To pay for added customizations and have them be so consistently wrong is becoming not worth it. With places like Chipotle, Tropical Smoothie and even a bit further away - the Willow Lawn options, I'm not sure how much I'll frequent this Panera location anymore for my lunch break. Since I've gotten the hang if this rapid pick-up with their mobile app I'm in love! Literally takes 1 min to order and by the time I drive the 6 minutes from work to Panara my food is sitting on the pick-up shelf ready for me. Because you pay on the app all you have to do is walk in grab your bag and you're out! No lines, no waiting, just in and out. read more

Typical Panera. Not that great today. Ordered Pick 2 - Greek Salad and Broccoli Cheddar soup with a drink. Salad was almost all iceberg lettuce and I had to look really hard for the "Greek" component. Soup was served cool and watery. Bill was almost $14!!! Better step it back up...way too many good places to eat lunch in Richmond for a lot less. $14 is absurd for what I got. For the first time ever there, the restaurant wasn't full at all...and on a Friday. Your prices are too high. Won't be back for a while for lunch. Still like their breakfast/bakery. read more

I went here with my roommate 5 minutes before close and he and I felt really guilty about it so he and I asked the cashier named Christy that was eager to help if it was too late to get food because we understood considering we work in the food industry as well, but she was incredibly reassuring that it was absolutely fine and made us feel very welcome and happy he and I went there. Christy made our experience amazing and the staff preparing our food also were very courteous in saying there goodbyes and thank yous. He and I had an amazing experience and everything came out right and yummy when we went home to enjoy it. Best Panera Bread in this area in both our opinion. read more

Enough!!! I used to love Panera for bagels, but a trend has developed that convinced me to switch. A few years ago they cut their selection of spreads in half and their bagel selections by about a third. The last time I visited, I found out that they did it again. The spreads are down to two and the selection of bagels is just as pitiful. There seems to be a determination on their part to concede the bagel market to others. They succeeded in my case. Einstein Brothers has Twice the selection of bagels and at least 4 times as many spreads. They are cheaper too. I won't be going back to Panera for bagels, but they still have good sandwiches and soups, although a bit over priced. I'll be back for that, but never again for bagels. read more

I rarely give a 5 but in this case, they earned it! I had ordered online, but unaware I had ordered at a different Paneras. I spoke to Cori the manager, and showed her my email confirmation. She explained it was a different location, but her and her team stepped up, made my order and I was on my way in record time. WTG going the extra mile. I rarely give 5 stars but this place deserves it! This is the only Panera I go to on a regular basis. I've been here probably 25 times in the past few months. I rarely wait more than a few minutes to place my order, then they give you a beeper/pager thing to wait for your food. Again, never waited more than a few minutes. My shocker is they have never gotten any of the food wrong (made incorrectly, missed or added items) and it's ALWAYS great and the same quality every time. I love the baguettes (even though they are bad for my thighs) they are great dipped in any of their soups especially the broccoli cheese. The apples they use??? I don't know if they are from some specialty - "apples that will make people who don't really like apples - like apples -farm" but they are awesome! Try the sandwich that is names something like "turkey bravo" it comes on a cinnamon bread but it's like a blt without the bacon and although sounds strange is great! This is a great place to pick up last minute treats and desserts for work lunches etc. GO if you haven't try Panera yet! read more

I was ordering and I wanted a plain salad with ranch dressing and when i asked the manager, that was ringing us up, about their classic salad and what dressing it had. she said that it was not ranch and another name that I can not spell. Sorry. Since I didn't recognize it I asked what it was and she told me it was a Brown dressing and that its an adult dressing. You normally see a lot of adults having it. (I am 16 so that was very demeaning) Remember that this is their manager and all and all she had a very rude attitude and set up a bad atmosphere. Plus she didn't ask me if I wanted the 99 cents dessert. Also their bathrooms were tiny unclean and the paper towel dispenser was broken. Plus our order came back wrong, my friend ordered a sandwich with mayo and no tomatoes and they gave her no mayo and with tomatoes. Panera in general is great. However this particular location has the worst delivery service I've ever experienced! This is the third time they have made me hangry. The first, my order was wrong. The second, my order took an hour to get here after receiving the "your order is on its way" email, and then it was wrong and they had to take it back. This time, we had to call after an hour and 15 minutes, and they refunded our money. The driver showed up 20 minutes after that, with piping hot food, and free bakery items. Over an hour and a half to get to eat a salad. Horrible delivery service. Would've been better to just drive there and get it myself. read more

I stopped in for coffee. The coffee had been sitting for a long time (over two hours). One of the coffee pots was completely empty.

In my opinion this location needs better management, the food is ok, but the place seems dirty and needs a good makeover.

I would say 5stars because the people are so friendly. I come quite often and order the same thing grill chicken ceasar salad .. the last 2 times i went home with no chicken and even though they correct thr problem its still a headache.. WHY?? Because today on the way in to a meeting i stop and got my usual grilled chicken ceasar salad and i was like is the chicken in it yes.. i get to work and im like where are my croutons.. no need to call and complain but when people are spending there money..im like just take your time and make sure you get the order right ..didnt know i needed to make the order for you read more
