I am offically never going back to any Panera. Let me start by saying I work hard for my money and I do not like to be ripped off. Today was the last time I will ever let that happen again. I spent over $13 on a salad was so small I was done eating it in about 8 bites. If you laid out on a table what was in the salad, lettuce, 10 peices at most of cilantro, about 5 super thinly sliced chicken, slivered almonds and a ton of chinese crackers it would probably cost them about $2 for the salad in total for them to make. Barely dressed. The bread was cold, no butter on plates anymore. I am saving my hard earned money from now on and never going back. Every time I go the portions get smaller and smaller. It is just not worth it anymore. Sorry Panera. You once had amazing big awesome salads. Too bad you are just ripping customers off now. I wont be back. read more

Located right off 215 on Haun Rd. in a very busy shopping center, this Panera is one of a very few in the mile radius of Riverside, Orange, and San Diego counties. In today's busy life, everyone is always on search of good options. Whether en route to the next ball practice to grab and go or offnight of cooking, Panera with its menu choices works for many. I have been to this location a few times, and for the most part, customer service is friendly, and thankfully, my order has always been right, with occasional missing utensils here and there. Now, promptness, specifically with drive thru, hmm not so much. My last drive thru Friday 3/24 was ridiculously long. I ordered pick two - their new toasted baguette sandwich goddess caprese and asian chicken salad. 35 minutes. Ouch. I beelined home, and my sandwich was delicious and the salad was fine. If you do not have all the time in the world, do not go through the drive-thru. I get made to order... but 35 minutes is too long. Does it take this long for bagels and coffee, too? Do I smell something burning?! .... Because this place is fire. I'm a huge Panera fan, and this location did not disappoint! I love the convenience of the drive through. You don't even have to walk-in for some bomb grub. This feature was extremely helpful on a rainy December day, right before Christmas- when the crowds were everywhere. Panera was a nice quick option for comfort food on the cold evening after shopping. Our service was fast and the orders were correct. We enjoyed our meals. We ordered a lot of food to be honest; broccoli Mac and cheese, Mediterranean veggie sandwich, kitchen sink cookies, soup in bread bowls, a smoothie, and a couple flatbread pizzas. We ordered a grip of food and it was all hot and delicious. This was my first time coming here, however my cousin has been to this location on several occasions and said she's never be unhappy. Tonight was the first time I ate inside Panera. It was the worst experience. The floor and tables were so dirty I didn't even want to eat in there. I asked the worker for a rag to wipe the table.l because it was sticky and instead of offering to clean the table, she directed me to the counter with the super wet wipes , to clean my own table? My hot sandwich was cold and so I informed the worker of this and she said she can't take it back and said "the microwave is over there!!! I asked for the manager and asked him to please make me a new sandwich (double pressed) and before I could get a new sandwich I had listen to his lecture about the cheese not melting. Panera Bread's predecessor St Louis Bread was one of our favorite places to eat when we lived in the Midwest. We also loved Paradise Bakery (AZ) and Au Bon Pain (MA and IL)) - which were all acquired by German JAB holdings But it has been the demise of these restaurants and the combining of their Menus, which makes Panera a place we look forward to stopping in for a bite. In the mornings, I use to grab some breakfast and coffee on the run before work. Now in retirement, we come here to relax and catch-up after shopping. Their Steak Sandwich has a smokey, complex layer of flavors which I like, while their Combo 1/2 and 1/2 Soup and Sandwich is another one of our favorites. A new item is their coffee club. Ridiculous lines that never move. What happened to getting the lines moving? This place is slower than molasses.

I came in & ordered potatoes soup to go. I never had this soup before from them, and after trying it, I never will again. It had tiny pieces of potatoes in it, and very little. The soup I ordered was for 2-3 people, and I couldn't believe the cost of it either. The total came to around $26.00, just for the soup. That is outrageous, considering you're only getting about 3 small servings. I'll stick to Barons when I want soup! read more

Disclaim: I would've gave them a 4 and a half if I could but this establishment deserves this 5 to offset some of the lower ratings that aren't warranted. They absolutely delivers on what they promise, which I believe speaks volumes for any place of business. The chicken is always super hot and fresh. The fries are always hot and fresh. The sweet tea is good, definitely some of the best in the surrounding area. The lemonade is pretty good and also among some of the better ones in the area. The bread is great as well. The sauce does its job for sure. Be sure to get an extra sauce or 2! Plain and simple they deliver on what's advertised and yes it is delicious as well. read more

working in the marketplace center gives me a few options when i go out to eat. being timed during my lunch only gives me so much time to get lunch. every time i go to this location im always waiting 20+ minutes for my food. this time will be the last due to the person giving out my food through the drive thru window brought out a bag for after maybe 5 minutes, but then proceeded to wait another 15 to get a whole separate bag (which was not mine) to give me the bag they set in the first place. did not provide any utensils or napkins or asked if we wanted any on top of this . i am not a person who complains at any means but due to only 4 items i had bought coming out to over $45 and just left to sit and wait is baffling to me. read more

We eat here 3-4 times a week because the food is good and the staff is wonderful..i don't know what is going on lately, but the last 2 times the food had not been edible. Never really came here in the past, but recently I've ordered online twice and have been very happy with everything. This particular location is in the Countryside Marketplace in Menifee, next to In 'n Out. I came across a discount code on IG and decided to try it. Placed my order online the first time a few days ago and was impressed with how fast they had it ready. They send a confirmation email which contains a link you click on to let them know you are there. The email also tells you how long it will be before it's ready for pick up. My first time picking up they were super fast. It was ready in 10 minutes! Second time they were a bit slower to come out with my order but still reasonable. Both times I chose the option of just pulling up in front of the entrance vs. going inside. The employee was nice and friendly. I will be coming back again, as their food is great and the prices aren't too bad. Panera is my new go-to for a quick but healthier option when I'm on the move! read more

I have been to this Panera location in Menifee, many,many times for breakfast. I know that even though they serve breakfast til 10:30am, if you aren't there by 10am, there will be no soufflés available. So today I'm there at 9:15am and am told they have run out of soufflés already because it's Monday and it's just been busier. What kind of lame excuse is that? Did the oven stop working? Does the manager not track sales and plan for quantities? If it's just to avoid or decrease food waste, I can understand that, but there should still be soufflés available at 9:15am. This is just crazy. Even crazier that this is the second bad review in 3 days that I'm giving Panera, a place I go to a lot. I could have just ordered a breakfast sandwich but the lame excuse and also the fact that I had horrible service at the Temecula location just a few days prior, made me just walk out and go down the street to Yellow Basket for breakfast. There is a new Panera opening very close to me in the French Valley area and I hope their service is better than what I have experienced recently.
