Yesterday I went to Panera and I ordered a steak sandwich. On one half was steak the other half was onions and a whole lot of horseradish sauce. Today I went back thinking I can't be that bad. The chicken breast sticking out the bun, pickle chips overflowing out of the bun and ample buffalo sauce, what a picture on the poster! Imagine my disappointment when receiving my sandwich. Pretty good. We've gone here a couple times when their neighbor store, In-n-Out was too busy for us to wait. Panera was wide open for service. After church not many places we're used to going are open late. So - I had tomato soup/grilled cheese - it was okay. But the grilled cheese was not grilled - looked like on toast - but the cheese was melted nicely and was plentiful. I could teach them how to make a good grilled cheese sandwich! The tomato soup is too thick for my liking. Hubby likes this place and I will keep finding something I'm thrilled with too. It has a nice ambience and open seating. That's a plus. I absolutely love Panera. However this particular store on Haun is always getting my order wrong. My family orders on the Panera app weekly. The past 3 weeks every time something is either wrong or missing. Today I decided to call to let them know. They answered I told them today's issue, no croutons, no bread and they gave 2 lemonades when we ordered one lemonade and one Pepsi. She put me on hold for 11 minutes then disconnected my call. I'm attaching a photo of our receipt clearly showing the items missed. I also noticed where someone is supposed to check the order, we'll it's blank. I love love love Panera Bread! I'm so happy that one opened in our city. Get your panera card and get free pastries from time to time! I ordered the new take on Chef chicken sandwich and a tuna sandwich with cheese. The chicken sandwich was the worse I ever had. This was my first visit to this Panera. It was evening and we had a couple broccoli chedder soup bread bowls. They were very good. However, the place was not well cleaned at the tables. Several employees were on break and taking up tables that were not available to customers. They must not have a break room. The drink area was not restocked and trash littered the area in front of the fountain. We received our order fast and the server was nice. The soup was hot and tasty. I wanted to order on the app, so the food would be ready at a certain time, but the app was unavailable, I went into the restaurant, to order on the kiosk, because I'm not familiar with the menu. My charge said it went through, but the kiosk said there was a error on the order. I asked the woman upfront, and she asked the manager. There are 2 but only one works. It kept resetting. Did not take my payment. I had to go ask for help because no one was around! This is ridiculous the worst service ever! A customer is a customer regardless of how we are paying! Makes no sense that I have to use a kiosk because I'm paying with a card! At the end this guy Dawn which is the name on the cashier on the receipt has to ring up my order. Tells me that they have been having issues with the kiosks. Our order was wrong and we had to ask several times to get it right. The young woman at the counter muttered "This is crazy!" as we ordered. My wife thought the comment was directed at us but it wasn't, she was talking about the register/computer, but it created even more confusion. They knew they made the mistake and never offered to adjust the $ difference or anything. Then it was more a salad than a bowl. There was hardly any quinoa but mostly leafy greens & cheese. Curbside pickup is a joke. I ordered while here in the parking lot, hoping to beat out the super long drive thru line, and I sat in my car FOREVER! I even called them and told them I was here, only to wait for another 5 min for them to come out, when they said, "an associate will be right out" Next, they only have 3 designated curbside pickup spots, and 2 of which are handicap parking spots. Very confusing if I'm actually allowed to park there or not. I've seen 3-4 customers, park and go in and grab food before me. Room absolutely forever. Not happy at all with this curbside service. Pretty sure I know the reasons behind the 2..5 star rating. I have been here a number of times over the past six months, but today seals the deal. Went through drive thru on 2/16/23 to order some bagels, a cinnamon roll and a breakfast sandwich. Oddly enough, they were out of all the aforementioned items. And the girl taking the order thought it was funny enough to laugh out loud as she told me they were out over and over. Not only did I not think it was funny, but keep laughing as you collect your minimum wage and I go to your competition. On almost every visit, they are out of something. I'm not experiencing this at any other restaurant, so I doubt it's a supply chain issue. Just poor management failing its customers over and over.
