The typical Panera, warm and inviting atmosphere, smooth and easy to use app and ordering process, friendly staff, a massive menu catering with insanely unhealthy levels of salt, and in overly optimistic pricing where it's funny an actual restaurant like Chili's and Texas Roadhouse now offers better value. I only drop in for the decent coffee and grabbed my birthday pastry today! The chocolate croissant seems fresh enough but of course hilarious to see a four dollar price tag on a basic dessert. Would be nice to see Panera remove the wild heart risk amounts of sodium at these high prices to give a reason to try their food, but glad there are many other better options especially local places that know quality ingredients.

Egg and Cheese Sandwich - Asiago Bagel (upcharge). - Pretty small and the eggs were thin.

Went here for a quick bite in between volleyball games at the local high school. We wanted to get breakfast sandwiches. The place had a few people eating and we were able to walk up and place our order immediately. The cashier was welcoming and answered a couple questions we had about the menu. I went with a Asiago Bagel Egg and Cheese Sandwich. My wife decided to go with the same but on Croissant. The pick up place was clean and the tables were clean as well. It took about 10 minutes for the the first sandwich to be called, however they let me know that they ran out of the croissant. They asked me if I wanted a replacement and we chose the Asiago Bagel. No up charge. As far as the sandwich, it was a little smaller than expected. It seemed like it is not the same size as the original Asiago Bagel. The eggs were thinner than I expected. It had two different types of cheese. I didn't think it was worth getting as it was still hungry. Bagel is a bigger sandwich and is across the street. Overall, I wouldn't get the breakfast sandwich in the future.

Everyone at this location is super kind & I've never had issues with wrong orders. I come here in the mornings to get work done; the music is a bit loud, though there is plenty of space & corners nooks for privacy. Drive thru is quick; I've never had a long wait. Panera has been updating their menu; though a tad on the pricey side, the food is always delicious.

This location is on a heavy traffic intersection Street. My Yoghurt was not fresh and was not well prepared. Tuna was good

I ordered a grilled cheese sandwich. The bread wasn't toasted, so it didn't taste very good. Mushy cheese on soggy bread.

There is even a bar are with counter seating and three - five tables (two standard height and three counter height. There is a monstrous screen behind the bar for sports, but they mostly show videos of Greece, but they are mesmerizing videos of a beautiful country. It's a cleaner version of Dengeo's. And, dare I say, better version. Except for their avgolemeno soup. Such a weak travesty. Please fix this. It's just a watery mess. However, everything else is delicious. I ordered the Greek Chicken with their lemon-butter rice. They debone the chicken and serve atop a mountain of their rice. If also had their potatoes (which are good) but the rice is magical. The first time we went, they had a serve yourself soda fountain and they since got rid of it and sell soda in bottles and cans. They do still have a self-serve water station. Once you order, staff will bring to your table, so please tip when you order or leave on the table as they do come by and clear your table as well. It is first come first served and you grab your own tables. I've been there on weekends and weeknights and they get pretty packed. The food is flavorful and quite tasty. The portions are huge so you're definitely going to bring something home. Nostimo is now in our rotation of places to go in a pinch and they do have an outdoor seating area, too.

Since there was a total of 11 and the seating is first come first serve, we decided to call to see if they had reservations. They did take our name and reserved a table. When we arrived we noticed a table was reserved and we were informed that it was our table. We sat and looked over the menus. When we were ready my 2 boys and I went up to place our order. My one son has major allergies so we spoke to the chef and he came back out to recommend the dishes he can have. It was great that he did so and gave us confidence that my son would be able to eat without worrying too much about the ingredients. I ordered the Shrimp Kalamakia with a side of the Greek Rice. My son with the allergies ordered the Pork Kalamakia with Greek Rice and no pita, my other son ordered the Traditional Pork Gyro with Greek Rice. The sides we ordered: Saganaki Fritters and Spanakopitakia. My son that ordered the Pork Kalamakia devoured it. He said it was tender and juicy and probably could have eaten 4 skewers. My Shrimp Kalamakia was nicely charred and seasoned, I squeezed some lemon and it provided a nice tang over the seasoning. The Lemon rice pilaf was soft and cook just right and was nicely balanced. I had one Saganaki Ball and it was delicious. My son had the Pork Gyros said it was really good and the Tzatziki sauce was creamy and rich with flavors. My in-laws bought the table desserts and I got the Baklava and my wife got Loukoumades (Greek Donuts with Nutella) and both did not disappoint. I really loved the citrus honey syrup in the Baklava. The Loukoumades had a crispy shell and nice a fluffy on the inside and the Nutella amount was perfect. This place is very good and well worth the price in my opinion. I loved the fact that they took the time to make sure my son with allergies was safe.

And Baker's Square closed YEARS ago in SoCal. Missed their pies and baked goods! So imagine my (pleasant) surprise when I found this little place in Palatine! I decided to head there for a brekky on a cool May morning. Stepped in, saw all the breads, pastries, and pies along the front counters- wow. I was greeted warmly and seated instantly. My waitress came right away, and I ordered unleaded (decaf for those in the know). It came in a little pot, ala IHOP, and was really, really GOOD. Wow. Decaf has come a long ways from the Sanka days! I ordered the INN-CREDIBLE V.I.B. which allowed me to order 4 yummy items of my choice - I chose the french toast (yummy and spiced just right albeit w/room temp syrup- not a deal-breaker but notable), a strawberry crepe (totally awesome strawberries, but the crepe was a bit colder than expected); scrambled eggs (always a nice stalwart) and two turkey sausage links (as with the frenchie above, nicely flavored!). The ambience was modern, updated, and felt welcoming and (thankfully) a bit familiar. Brought back some good ol' memories even if only the Baker's Square part of the menu was just pies nowadays. But the Village Inn lives on! And that counts - and I'll return. You should check it out too if you enjoy a good brekky at a classic American diner!

We end up getting 2 orders because it's that good. The fresh spring rolls are very good as well. They have 2 whole shrimps in each roll unlike most places where they split a shrimp in half per roll. Pho Son Ha splits 2 shrimps for each roll meaning an order has 4 pieces of shrimp. The inside has seating, but it's a cozy place.
