I am so tired of NOT getting what I paid for. I'm done. This is the third time in a row my order has been wrong in the drivethru. Today I ordered four cinnamon bagels sliced. If you dont enjoy your Panera experience that's your fault; they have prompt service, an app ordering system with dedicated parking for pick up, healthy and unhealthy (aka delicious) menu options, and a delicious drink bar complete with unique beverage options. I love that they're consistent and that my favorite menu items always taste the same. I'm a fan of their chipotle chicken and avocado melt, tomato soup, mac and cheese, and sweetened green tea. And they get kudos for the fireplace in the seating area. I've ordered through their app several times and only had a slow preparation once, all other times it was ready before or when I arrived; which makes me feel less guilty about picking up on my pjs. I got curb side pick-up and that worked great! It was ready in 10 minutes right around lunch time, and they brought it right out to my car. I got the Napa Almond Chicken Salad Sandwich. It was great, except the emerald green lettuce tasted like arugula, and I can't stand arugula. I just picked it off and it was all good! I also got a bowl of Broccoli Cheddar Soup. As always, it was really good, but it didn't seem like the amount was as much as you get when you go into the restaurant and get a bowl. I just want to say thank you to all of the restaurant workers! I'm a fan of this Panera location, though they can get really busy making seats and parking a premium during peak hours. Area is secure. People and staff are friendly. Food is fresh and tasty and low cost. Interior and exterior are new and clean. Fireplace is nice during the winter months. Wish they had more Paneras in Los Angeles. I'd take Panera over Corner Bakery anyday. They are more cozy and have more competitive prices. read more

Worst fast food experience I've ever had. I ordered 2 soups and a sandwich with no one in front of my car. It took almost 29 minutes to get my food. I counted 6 employees through the drive through window who were doing nothing except being on their phones. I would have left if I had not already paid for food. I don't like doing this but it's almost every time I get something to go from Panera, they forget something. I got two Thai chicken salads and neither has chicken on it. I called the store and was told they're send me a voucher for a "free" drink or I can come pick up the chicken. Is that really a free drink though? Although the food is good. I cannot say the same for the service. When asked if a certain food item contained an ingredient the cashier replied "I don't know, there's a book that could tell me but why do you want to know?" When I explained it was food allergy related she reluctantly got her book out. It took an extra 20 seconds out of her day, when the place was basically empty, to find out it wouldn't work. Then my husbands sandwich was missing avocado. When he asked for it the kitchen argued with him about putting avocado on his sandwich (not sure why they think someone would lie about that) also on your Panera receipt, at the top it clearly states "Accuracy Matters, Your order should be correct every time. If it's not, we'll fix it right away, and give you a free treat for your trouble. Just let an associate know." This was not done nor offered. We didn't ask for it because it wasn't that big of a deal but thought it was interesting to put that on a receipt and not honor it. And last but not least there was the fact that our plates and bowls were dirty. By the time we figured this out we had already eaten most of our meal. Don't get me wrong, I love Panera. The food is always usually up to par as it was today. But the customer service is extremely bland.. when ordering at the self kiosk, you have to still go up to the counter and ask for the drink cup you just ordered. This is fine but what isn't are the multiple employees that see you are standing there front and center and just choose to ignore you... what a great feature. And along with ordering at the kiosk, you do have to pick up a pager which buzzes to indicate when your food is ready, anyone who has eaten at Panera knows this. Anyways, as I was sitting there at the booth I chose, the pager started to go off so naturally I got up and went to the pickup, when I got there the lady behind the counter told me it was going to be about 30 seconds on my sandwich which was also fine but this other employee handing the carry out was very rude in my opinion. She was a heavier set lady with fading colored hair "bluish green". I suppose I was standing too close to the pickup bar so she told me to stand more over to the side, which was fine because of covid guidelines but afterwards she then proceeded to tell me that "your pager will buzz when your food is ready" in a snarky tone... now tell me, why would I be standing there if it didn't go off ??? He seemed tired and agitated. He was on a cash register and assisted the guest in front of me then walked off. Not sure why? Maybe a loaf a bread was burning? He then walked back to the register and looked at me and took two steps away. He confused me, maybe he had to go look at something. He then greeted me and took my order.
