NEW Green Goddess Avo (I think, can't remember)! Delicious and fulfilling!
    Sarah H.

I had an out-of-state friend in town and we were driving around Pasadena trying to find local Van Halen historic spots when we suddenly got hungry. Though we had been trying lots of local spots along the way, my friend had a craving for something that she recognized so we found this Panera and it hit the spot! She ordered at the counter while I ordered on the iPads! I got the Balsamic Greens with Grains salad and a Diet Pepsi. It was a great blend of fresh flavors and hearty grains to sit in my stomach a while. I always love their baguette on the side because of the chew and because I could use it to soak up the remaining dressing at the bottom of my bowl. The restaurant was larger than any Panera I'd been in before I think. Comfortable, clean and quick so we could hit the road and keep going! Love earning the rewards on my app too!

This panera bread location ive always had a positive experience with both with the workers and my order accommodation. I do think that you should generally order online for this location. I ordered two soups, a sandwich and a drink for pick up dine in. Everything came out hot and all the food tasted fine. The inside is really nice with plenty of seats and a lot of them have charging ports for studying. The wifi is fairly slow because theres always a lot of people but works fine. Great for studying and a nice warm meal.

Stopped by to try there new item, the Salad Stopper. Instead of eating a salad, since it is just a bunch of veggies, you don't feel quite full. Because this item is served with the salad inside an Italian roll, it eats more like a meal. It also comes with a bag of chips, so it was a very filling meal. If you eat here, I recommend that you join the Sip Club. For one fee ($3.99 - $11.99) depending on their current promotions, it's all you can drink for one month. And once you redeem a drink, it will refresh and offer another drink an hour later. So, it's possible for a cold and a hot drink all in one visit. And sometimes you get a free month(s). And most of their menu items are delicious. Their workers are extremely efficient and very nice to all their customers!

I'm back again! I love their sourdough and the baguette.... The chicken and wild rice soup is good too. The tables are not cleaned... as usual. I found one table that didn't look too bad. I used some napkins and water to wipe, then used my sanitizing tissue to clean our table. I'm ready for food. Today we ordered double Panera Duets... One order of 1/2 tuna salad sandwich with creamy tomato soup which is one of our lite meal item. We also ordered the 1/2 turkey & cheddar sandwich with chicken wild rice soup because of the soup. We love the lite meal options they offer through the Panera Duets pairings. Too bad they don't allow substitutions... Today, they ran out of their baguette... They have us bags of potato chips in lieu which was nice of them, but I love dipping the baguette into the soup. I will be back for the delicious breads... I would be back so much more often if the tables were cleaned better... Oh, well.

I hadn't been to Panera in ages, but recently went twice. I got tomato soup and Mac and cheese during one visit, and then tomato soup in a bread bowl on the second visit. The tomato soup is really good! I like the croutons on the top. Service is quick. I don't like ordering from the ordering devices. So, I really enjoy when someone is at the register. This location always has customers, but it is never busy/crowded.

Cold Sandwich Grilled Chicken and Avo BLT It didn't make me disappointed. It was really a delicious cold sandwich. All of the ingredients were good and the lettuces and tomatoes were fresh. More avocado would be perfect

Upon revisiting, several new difficulties popped up, including inadequacies in keeping coffee and creamer/additions stocked, tea, and other available essentials. Bagels that were toasted were unfortunately toasted to an insufficient level, and orders were made incorrectly. Nonetheless, this continues to be a convenient location for me, and service, although with the above disclaimers, were otherwise friendly and quick.

I ended up asking the employee what they recommended, since I started to panic and didn't know what else to get. They asked if I like tuna and recommended the tuna on starlight (?), saying that it's a regular for them as well. I took his recommendation, and he suggested to get it on sourdough. I normally don't like sourdough but he said he doesn't either, and said it works with the sandwich. Ok I'll trust you! The sandwich ended up being absolutely delicious! Such a big sandwich, and I had to save half for breakfast tomorrow. I also ordered a ginger cabana, and it was my first time having ginger in a drink. I normally don't like ginger but the slight spiciness was actually quite nice! The customer service was great and the jazzy vibes inside were awesome too. I'm looking forward to coming back and trying that chicken mingus!

My brother enjoyed his meal as well, and I even grabbed some ice cream for my little nephew. The owner was there during our visit and was incredibly friendly, professional, and welcoming. The service was excellent. It's a shame places like this are becoming harder to find these days. Any time I'm back in the area, I'll definitely be stopping by again. Driving in has great views of the mountains. Parking was easy and free on the streets. The restaurant was busy but manageable for a Saturday morning and Its self seating and pay first which makes it easy when ready to leave. Friendly staff, clean and nice decor With a decent selection on the menu. 2 of us ate - 1 regular burrito and 1 regular breakfast plate. Burrito was a filling portion to the point i was 'almost full'. Breakfast plate was decent, the one minus I had was the potatoes came out cold. I mentioned it when they came back around for the "how is everything" ask and they brought out a brand new plate of hot hot hot potatoes. Great service. Would recommend it and would again.

Overall the place was busy always people in & out! It is a cute little local joint to do work on your laptop or have a meal. Staff was helpful & sweet! Would return be back for another burrito (:

I've gotten at least a dozen sandwiches (and likely more) from Ike's over the years, and it was always my favorite local sandwich shop after they finally opened a location in the northeast side of LA. But I must say, as of late, their quality is really not the same as the past. I recently ordered a sandwich that came with mushrooms and it was barely cooked and mostly raw. Having raw mushrooms in a sandwich is really not it, and considering each sandwich here is about $16+ post tax and tip (yes I did tip), I think we can expect a little better quality, or at the very least, not having basically raw mushrooms in a sandwich. While they do have many sandwiches to choose from on such a vast menu, and everything is customizable (just with additional charges), it does feel like they'd do better if they nail down some of the details like making sure their cooked ingredients are actually cooked. All that said, the store is kept clean, there's some dine in tables as well as outdoor seating. The music indoors is kept loud, and the decor is very colorful and bold. Service feels like what you'd expect from employing recent high school or college students at their first jobs, but it's always been polite. Pictured: one of the many sandwiches I've consumed over the years from Ike's. This one attached happened to be from 2023.
