I placed a Rapid Pick up which was to be ready at 8:23pm as per the Panera app. I arrived at 8:20pm walked to the rapid pickup shelf and nothing was on it. I continued to wait as they were bagging up orders for people waiting. Finally at 8:33pm which is 25 minutes since I placed the order and 10 minutes over the time the app had told me my order would be ready, i asked if they had an order for me. The three workers said No. they quickly found it and one young man said "you wanted romaine and we don't have it". I said thats fine ill just take whatever lettuce you have. They told me they lost the ticket so they didn't know what I had. The girl offered me a drink while i waited, i thought that was nice and thought maybe the experience would turn around for the better. I went out to the car to get my phone to pull up my order but there was no cell service. The girl put my bag up on the counter and said "Here you go" and stepped back. I was still trying to pull up my order and told them I had two cookies. The girl said "yeah you get those down there." I said how was i supposed to know that without you telling me???? I am a restaurant manager of a much bigger restaurant and this is unacceptable. If you lose a ticket yet you know you had an order where someone wanted romaine but that you were out of it, communicate it to your manager or shift leader on duty. And how do you tell someone their order is ready to go yet everything the customer has paid for is not in the bag!!???? Then tell them to go get it down there???? I also had to stop somewhere that closed at 9 and had my order been ready when promised, i would have been able to stop there. But nope, incompetent teenagers are left to goof off and deliver crap service to paying guests. Im in town for 4 months and I can promise you i will not return to this Panera. What a shame because i usually go once or twice a week Keep it up guys, you suck. read more

I was so pleasantly surprised to find more obvious vegan options. I enjoyed the Mediterranean Veggie (no feta) and on country bread. I also tried the green tea which I thought was delicious. It was clean and the service was kind. The only drawbacks where that they forgot to give me my bakery item that I paid for (but I got it as I was leaving) and they were out of apples as a side which I wanted. The price was fair. Well Panera used to be a great place for good quality food . It's always been more expensive than other cafes but the quality was there . Today after not eating here for 6 + months hoping our Panera would be more consistent with other Panera's we tried again . My whole chicken salad sandwich was really good . My daughter had pick 2 Cobb salad and turkey apple cheddar sandwich. Not everyone loves or even likes arugula. She ask the manager about the greens in the Cobb salad .He told her it was baby mixed greens with very little arugula. At least 1/2 of the greens were arugula. Her turkey apple cheddar sandwich was missing the cabbage carrot slaw and had brown apples . Her friend had Mac and cheese that was still good and his grilled cheese sandwich had so little cheese the bread was not even covered with Cheese or the bread was not stuck together. They remade the sandwich and said they are only allowed a small amount of cheese . Please tell me about the grilled cheese sandwich pictured that advertises 4 cheese grilled cheese on their menu . What a let down! I used to go there with my son as he was growing up. One of the biggest deals to him was to have the hot chocolate. It was so special in that big mug, topped with a mountain of whipped cream and a drizzle of chocolate syrup. He's older than my daughter and we have been getting her excited about going there one night to try it. This was the evening. Yes, it's Father's day, but we went around 4:30. There were only a handful of customers so they were definitely not busy. I ordered some food and the hot chocolates for dine-in. The cashier was new and so I absolutely do not blame her. I do blame the manager on duty, (or at least I think he was a manager). This whole setup is messed up. The girl at the counter said we had to go the end to get our food (usual), but we had to come back to the front counter to get the drinks. I am really not crazy about leaving my food on the table where anyone can walk by and do anything to it. She could not bring the drinks out. Understood. I asked the young man who did the soup if they have a tray. Nope, no trays. Great. So we waited for the drinks to be placed on the front counter. Meanwhile, the assumed manager on duty is cleaning the vent on the ceiling near the front counter with a long feather duster sort of thing. When she gave us the hot chocolates, it was super underwhelming. 2 paper to-go cups with lids. I said, "No, that's not it! The hot chocolate comes in a mug with the whipped cream and the topping." The new cashier looked at Mr. Feather Duster and he said to me, "You have to ask for that." What the heck? I have to ask for that? Customers who request dine-in should know they have to ask for that??? I said well, I was really looking forward to taking my little girl here for the hot chocolate tonight and we had built her up for how amazing it is. Wow, we were completely disappointed in this location. We have always loved Panera Bread but after our visit to the Port Orange location, we are speechless. We ordered soup and a sandwich, the soup was luke warm and needed to be reheated & the four cheese grilled cheese was so tiny and had hardly one type of cheese on it. And if that wasn't bad enough, while we were eating, the cleaning crew set about vacuuming all around us. Yuck!! Not sure we will return to this location. Very disappointed. read more

The food is always consistent, no matter which Panera in the area you choose. The iced green tea is delicious and I like that they also offer refills on the green tea. The baked goods are always yummy and with the My Panera card, for signing up, I got a free dessert. The plus side? The staff is knowledgeable about all of the menu items which helps considering since their menu is so vast. read more

Panera has a loyalty program and today when the Cashier @ P.O. rang up my total the electronic screen/ process via the register asked if I wanted to select Y or N points earned today for loyalty but simultaneously as I go to hit Y another customer walked up to next register and Cassandra clicked the screen closing out that ability to reply and moved to assist that customer! Meanwhile another employee packaged up my product so rather than interrupt Cassandra I asked that employee and she rudely replied I don't know what you're trying to say and all of a sudden Cassandra wants to be back involved to assist me and now wants to chime in and say I'm suppose to verbally say I want to receive or use my reward before she completes the transaction! More customer training please !!!!!! Since I wasn't using any points - I was trying to ensure I received my points for today's purchase! Besides if I'm suppose to verbally say something why electronically present the option via the register and allow the system to ask for the customer to select an option! I am not going to be one of the patrons who complains about the prices. Items and cost are clearly marked on the menu board above the register. If you couldn't deal with the price, then my advice to you is that you do not order the thing with the objectionable price. There's a Chik-Fil-A 2 minutes away, as well as a Starbucks and a Chipotle, so it's not like you don't have options. I will, however, complain about the fact that every time I visit (on average once a week to meet up with a friend) one of their soda fountain drinks is out of order. This has been happening without fail over the course of two months+. That is at least 8 visits where someone is not going to get the drink they want...but it's a crapshoot because you never know which one it is that will be out of order. The place also seems a little short-staffed or mismanaged, maybe both. I have had to wait in line upwards on 5 minutes while the cashier is mopping or sweeping or doing some sort of cleaning/maintenance, and while I understand occasionally this happens, I don't think it should happen so frequently during the dinner hour. That's a time when you should probably have more staff on hand to deal with the influx of customers looking for dinner. I have no problem with the food. It is consistently mediocre. But it's Panera, not a gourmet treat, so you know what you're getting in for, right? I will note that the black bean soup, while rather cumin-y, is above average. The Mediterranean chicken flatbread is fairly tasty as well. These make for a pretty decent "You Pick Two" meal, by the way. read more

I had a simple french toast bagel. Always delicious. The perfect amount of sweetness to my morning. Yet when I went to retrieve my drink of choice, the fountain appeared to be out of syrup. I walked back to the cashier and backers, who were free of guests and enjoying the lull of business. I asked them for assistance and not a single one budged. 10 minutes go by and I still wasn't helped. I then asked Isiah, the young mand busy making breakfast sandwiches by himself on the line. And wouldnt you know, Isiah got my request taken care of in under 2 minutes! Shame on the cashiers who couldnt be bothered. The food and WiFi are the only good parts of this Panera. I've dined here eight times during August while working on papers and grading. The customers are quiet, but the staff is ridiculously immature. They constantly make loud jokes and remarks to each other, are playing behind the counter, don't notice guests when they enter, and loudly laugh all the time. It creates and extremely distracted environment when a guest is trying to focus. This occurs during the lunch and afternoon times. I have come in the evening and found it to be quiet, so that was refreshing. Further, the store is generally dirty and not well cleaned. The bathrooms stink and just feel gross when you enter, the fountain drink area is sticky and has clearly not been properly kept (I observed some spots of mold in the fountain machine). Further the time slips on their signature drink fountains have been past every time I've gone. Not sure if the staff are just under-paid and don't care, but they clearly do not offer competitive employment because of the behavior of their staff, which reflects on their management practices. read more

Worst panera I have ever gone to! Everything was fine until we got our food and the bread was completely flat! The bread was pure raw dough! We told the workers that the the bread was pure dough and not cooked and they told us that it was the only bread they had but would make us more. We live in Titusville. Happened to be up that way so we ordered Panera for take out. I sometimes do this at a different Panera that is an hour from my house, so I knew it wouldn't be a problem. We both ordered the turkey avocado blt. No avocado on either of the sandwiches. We also ordered soups, the broccoli cheddar and the French onion. I've always liked Panera but this location, not so much. Today I ordered the Frontega Chicken panini. It was ready in record time, with nice grill marks from the press but the ingredients were cold and the cheese not melted. When I told them about that and suggested that they may need to turn the heat down slightly on the press so the could leave the sandwich on long enough to heat the ingredients and melt the cheese, I was told they can't adjust the heat. So in other words he's saying it's not his fault my $9 sandwich is cold. I'll just add that It's not my fault I will no longer eat at any Panera Bread restaurants again. read more

Don't order delivery because you'll never get a correctly filled order delivered. Don't order rapid pick-up unless you check your order completely before leaving with it. DONT GO HERE! Panera has been my favorite for many years so every visit to Florida includes trip to a Panera. This one is so bad in every way! Person taking the order was not trained! The wait was long even though it was not crowded. The order was so disappointing. Panini turned out to be on a crusty roll heated in a toaster oven. Almost too hard to bite into. Chicken salad sandwich had one very small tablespoon of salad in the middle of the bread. Remember when the sandwiches were so thick you didn't know if you could get your mouth around it!!! My salad had the lettuce core in the middle, hard stem and all. Didn't ask which side I would like so I got a small chunk of crusty bread. I came in this panera for the first time and they had a full display. I can't tell you how many times I walk in to a panera and the pastries are dismal. The entire place was very clean and they kept their coffee fully stocked and we're very attentive to the the self service areas. Would recommend. Far better than the one on international. read more
