I arrive with my wife and daughter on Mother's Day. The bakery was is disarray with dirty tables and disorganized staff. We placed a single order for a ham and cheese omelet and a small breakfast sandwich. We had to wait 20+ minutes for this small order and the staff delivered the wrong food. Three out of 4 tables were filthy with trash and dirty plates sitting on top of the table. No one cleaned the tables for our entire time there (30 minutes or more). Bathrooms were dirty. Staff was disorganized . This was a great restaurant but the management and the staff at this location are doing a terrible job. We will find somewhere else to eat from now on. We like Paradise Bakery and we have a membership card, but this location is the worst ever. read more

A new menu, tried the steak, onion panini with horseradish. Pretty good but a little overcooked. However, they found a zillion ways to mess up my kid's meal. I asked for a salad instead of the yogurt, seemed simple enough of a request. They made a huge salad, enough that I said "Is that what goes with the kids meal to replace the yogurt or fruit?" got to the counter, paid and noticed that they charged me for a regular salad, then for a kid drink which used to be included, then for a kid's meal. Got the manager, explained the failure to communicate and he refunded the salad price. My daughter jokingly said "as long as they didn't forget my cookie". See she wasn't concerned about the vegetable to carb ratio or the dairy problem. Then the lady behind the counter slips me a cookie all clandestine-like. We sit down and I unpack the bag to discover they gave us a whole sandwich instead of the 1/2 for a kids meal, no biggie but a waste and not what the menu said, then they gave us fruit and yogurt. She had slipped us the cookie because apparently she realized they had the WHOLE order wrong. For kids that can't have dairy, a salad or fruit substitute shouldn't be rocket science. Everything else was classic Paradise and the manager made it right, but it was a hassle, a waste of time and food. read more

Love the food but all I got today was attitude from the girls behind the counter. Oh, and they messed up my order twice.

I have ordered lunch for my office twice within the last couple weeks, but probably won't in the future. Both times a sandwich has been missing! The first time I overlooked it as it was a large order, things happen. However the second time, I double checked my online order to make sure I ordered properly then called the restaurant. Nether the first, or second person (manager) I spoke to said so much as "sorry for the inconvenience." Both suggested I hop back in the car and drive back over to that nightmare of a parking lot to claim a new sandwich. No thanks! Whatever happened to a little bit of customer service and making things right? I was refunded for the sandwich, but disappointed with the lack of concern by both employees. read more

Everytime we come in this place, they end up either giving us a pack of cookies or paying for our food. Its great, but we came to eat, not to get handed free cookies and our money back because the food NEVER arrived. 25 minutes waiting for breakfast while we watch others after us finish and leave it not acceptable. Not sure why we keep coming back, its happened 4-5 times. Its not a joke around out house, hey do you want to go to Paradise for free breakfast? My husband and I have gone to Paradise Bakery in the Queen Creek Marketplace for three years now. Unfortunately, we feel the food and service has gone downhill since they first opened. Now that the new theater has opened in the Marketplace, plan on very long lines and wait times most evenings. We usually have the same item when we eat here; the Swiss cheese and smoked ham sandwich. The first few times, the sandwiches were great; after that, the sauce they put on it was excessive to the point of dripping on the plate as you were eating the sandwich - and it made the bread soggy. So, we started asking for 'light on the sauce', only to receive our sandwiches with a 50 cent size dab of sauce on it. Seriously? So, we've had to start asking for the sauce to be on the side. Quite often, the lettuce is wilted and we take a lot of it off before we eat the sandwich. For the price, lack of interest and attitude on the part of the staff (how hard is it to make a decent ham sandwich and show appreciation to the customer?) and the fact that most of the time all the tables are dirty and we end up having to clean one to use - we're probably going to start going to the new Kneaders Bakery that has just opened up in Queen Creek and forego this Paradise Bakery. read more

I've had good past experiences with this location but surely not the last 2 times. I wanted to order some squash soup with my sandwich and was told they didn't have it. I assumed they just ran out and didn't want any other soup. The next time I went I saw a picture of Autumn Squash soup by the menus and asked for that. I was then told they no longer have that soup. That picture is false advertising! I'm assuming it was the manager who handed me my sandwich while I was still in line and there was no included cookie on it. I had to ask for that from the cashier. When I was eating lunch I noticed several empty dirty tables. The staff needs to be more mindful of wiping off these tables. Hopefully things improve here or I'll just skip lunch here and take my business to Kneader's. read more

This is the worst location I have ever been to! I have repeatedly given them chance after chance and they fail to succeed, I am ALWAYS disappointed. They treat their customers like crap, they don't listen, you have to repeat yourself and when you do your order is still incorrect. But if you're a friend of an employee, no worries! Save your money and go someplace else! read more

I was at this establishment Saturday night (December 12th around 5-6pm). I was with my husband 2 kids a friend and her daughter. We came in between our daughters dance recitals for a bite to eat before their next show. In the middle of eating us mothers got up to take our daughters to the restroom, we had left their food a top the tables still hardly eaten. On the return back their plates and all were cleared. 2 kids sandwiches hot chocolate milks cookies and yogurts. All of our stuff (i.e. Purses dance bags jackets and a blanket) were left at the table we had just been to the restroom. You don't clear anything with out asking. We went to a manager and told her her response "yeah and..." Her action spoke so loud. She was very rude to us. She should have apologized and ask to remake our stuff but instead was very snarky until we had to ask her to remake it. She walk off and started to gossip and was making faces the whole time. Once she headed us the stuff we got an eye roll and a here you go. Once again no apology so I made sure to say we didn't appreciate all the rudeness side looks eye rolls and mumbling under the breath. It's sad when the manager at the establishment is very standoffish rude and not there to help. read more

First off...I love Panera Bread but this location, I was not impressed with at all. The cashier was very slow and didn't know that a bakers dozen was 13, not 12. I got 2 sandwiches, both the same type but 1 I changed per my taste and instead of ringing up the sandwich (the second one) she changed the first sandwich and didn't even ring up the second. I think she needs more training. I was also questioned on the order by another young lady who refused to pull the bagels without confirming with the cashier and slowing her down even more. I do have to put a shout out to Sam (she is the reason I will return to this location. She fixed the issue with my sandwiches and even threw in some cookies. Now that's how you get people back. Kudos!!! I hardly ever yelp and hate that this is the review that I leave for one of my favorite places. Reasoning behind the 3 stars and not more. read more

This was one of the worst experiences and I got food poisoning!!!! STAY AWAY!!!!!!! My husband and I decided to go there for breakfast which there was no one in line and the cashier didn't even greet us. She was so confused on how to work the register and charged us twice. We ordered 2 sandwiches and a coffee and a cinnamon roll to share. My sandwich was the avocado, spinach, egg and cheese sandwich which came out with frozen eggs and cold cheese. YES FROZEN EGGS!!!! Horrible, they said we can use the microwave to heat it up. Really?!!!! It should have come out to us cooked and I took a bite to have such a surprise that I was eating frozen food....so much for them saying they have "fresh" foods...Yeah right!!!!. My husband had the egg and cheese sandwich which was cold as well. Horrible!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Then I took a bite into the cinnamon roll which was hard and disgusting and wondered why it tasted weird. Then it hit me that the odd taste is lemon icing. I have never had lemon icing on a cinnamon roll. I do not like lemon icing so that didn't help on top of the hardness of the cinnamon roll itself. Everything not only is way overpriced but the food was disgusting. An hour later, I got so sick and knew right away that it was from the food and became severely dehydrated. They caused us even more of an expense from giving me food poisoning. I never write reviews but this was necessary! read more

I'm very happy with this place. Their salads are delicious. I originally went here for a quick lunch and the free wi-fi and now I go there all the time to hold work meetings or meet up with friends. The staff are very friendly. Only missing one star because the eating area isn't always as clean as I would like and I wish they were open a bit later. read more

Horrible customer service. It wasn't busy at all, and they weren't short-handed. It took them 15 min to make a half sized chicken salad. I watched them as they stood around and chatted amongst themselves, and one girl had an "I obviously hate my job" kind of look on her face. When the girl finally brought it out to, she didn't even look at me or say anything- just set it in front of me and walked off. The salad consisted of chicken, walnuts, and dressing. A very complicated salad that I'm sure needed 15 min to make, and not to mention- way overpriced. I've been in the food service business for 7 years, so I know how this thing goes. I have never had poor food at Paradise Bakery but tonight was the exception. The soup was ok but the sandwich was terrible as was the service. There were only 3 couples in the place and the sandwich orders were mixed up and the bread was dry and stale. It will be quite some time before I will return for another meal. The only reason I gave 1 star was because of the soup otherwise I would have a hard time giving any. read more

I love love love Paradise, however, this paticular location has under gone some menu changes more recently. They no longer offer my fav sandwich, California turkey, and the cookies and not as good and fluffy. Staff is always pleasent and food is always good, just don't like these new changes. read more

I ordered almost 3 dozen bagels through the online rapid order. I put the order in 12 hours in advance. The order was scheduled to be picked up at 730 this morning. First off, I walk in the building and there is a guest being helped in front of me. Wouldn't have been a problem had the employees acknowledged me in any way, but they didn't address me at all for about 5 minutes. On top of that, I didn't even get my order on time. It came out 15 minutes late. After I get to my work, I realize that instead of the 4 8oz tubs of cream cheese they were suppose to give me, they gave me one tub and 3 2 oz cups of cream cheese. Went back to Panera to get it corrected and employees proceed to tell me that they didn't have the cream cheese I wanted in 8oz tubs so for some reason they thought giving me 3 2oz containers was sufficient. I'm not usually one to complain but I was extremely disappointed with the whole ordeal. I was thrilled they were changing paradise to Panera but unfriendly employees and not getting what I paid for is making them lose a customer. read more
