The food was good, I love Panera, but I did a pick up order because we were driving through here on a road trip and they forgot a lot of things. They forgot the side of ranch for a sandwich, the lettuce on the sandwich, they forgot utensils which I asked for, and the crazy thing is that they manually checked all of it off on the list saying it was in there when it wasn't. They were also out of a lot of stuff and it was only about 2:45pm. Was very clean inside though and they got our order done fast. read more

I don't usually leave reviews, but my experience at this Panera Location was so unbelievably bad that I felt obligated to warn others. The employee who took my order, a guy named Robert was hands down the most unprofessional and careless worker I've ever encountered. From the moment I walked up to the counter, Robert acted like my existence was a personal inconvenience. No greeting, no eye contact--just a long sigh and an annoyed "What do you want?" while he kept tapping on the register like it personally offended him. When I asked a simple question about the menu, he rolled his eyes so hard I thought they might get stuck that way. Things only got worse. He got my order wrong twice, even though the Panera was nearly empty. When I politely pointed it out, Robert argued with me and insisted I ordered it wrong--despite the receipt clearly proving otherwise. Instead of fixing it, he disappeared into the back for several minutes, came back with the same incorrect item, and dropped it on the counter without a word. The attitude was unreal. No apology. No effort. Just pure indifference mixed with irritation. It genuinely felt like he was trying to see how bad he could make the experience without getting fired. I've worked customer service before, and I understand bad days happen--but this wasn't a bad day. This was someone who clearly does not care about their job, their customers, or basic human decency. If Robert is representative of the service standards here, then this place has serious problems. I won't be returning, and I'd strongly suggest management retrain--or rethink--who they put at the front counter. read more

Our experience at this Panera checked all of the boxes: 1.) healthy 2.) quick 3.) clean 4.) pretty convenient location - one mile off 70E 5.) Frequently rotating soup and salad options that keep the menu fun and inspiring I was especially impressed with my arugula watermelon feta salad. The watermelon was perfectly in-season and balanced well with the tangy arugula and feta. My sister and mom ordered the corn chowder and Thai salad and both thoroughly enjoyed theirs as well. This location is on the newer side located in a strip mall near TJMaxx, Books A Million and several other fun chain stores. As expected, you'll be greeted by a plethora of sweet treats (think croissants and bagels) as well as coffee drinks and fun flavored teas like plum lemonade. Highly recommend if you're looking for a healthy option in the area - they're hard to come by in West Virginia ;) read more

Very very slow service. Only route into and out of the store is directly through the inevitable backed up line, so expect several people to "say excuse me" while they push past you while you wait 10 minutes for each customer to be helped. Cheesy music is louder than it needs to be. Bathrooms not properly stocked. read more

I normally would not review a Panera--they are usually the same everywhere, but this one is sadly below average. I come to town once a year for work. I usually order mobile pick up orders (often asking for no cheese or no meat on things--very easy to do on Panera's ordering platform) and at least one order per week, if not more, is wrong. Counter ordering is there is even more challenging, especially in the evenings: tonight I watched two people in the mobile/to go prep area stare at me while I stared at them for the register line. I was smiled and waited patiently. They stared right back and said nothing. Finally, after a few minutes, someone came out from the back. I wish I was surprised, but after foolishly coming back to this location year after year, I am not. This is par for the course at the Tridelphia Panera location. If you must visit this location, please do not let it influence a poor opinion of Paneras elsewhere. read more

The Asian salad was made out of the bad parts of the lettuce. The cheapest lettuce on earth and they would put the most worst parts into the salad. The whole salad was trash and it's expensive. Not good at all. If you use the cheapest lettuce, at least put the good parts in. After spending about $10 for this salad, I just threw it away. Not even the dressings was good. Never again will they get my money. I could have went to subway and got a better cheaper salad. read more

Panera is a decent option. they've just added some brothy bowls to the menu that make this "want some bread with a side of bread?" chain doable for the gluten-free crowd. i chose quinoa kale miso bowl. also has tomatoes, spinach, and a spicy/salty kick. soupy. they offer it with chicken or egg but you can nix both if you want, of course. muzak "overjoyed" by stevie wonder overhead. had the 45 in high school; love this tune. simpler times. located in a whomping classic american strip mall one mile off the highway. a standard Panera experience overall. just wanted GF peeps know they have a new hot option here. read more

Popped in at 5pm on a Saturday with a large group of my friends. We had babysitters and was enjoying the day shopping for Christmas! We take this trip once a year. Very kind girl behind the counter taking orders, seemed new and had to ask others questions regarding new rule of 'dining area closed at 5,carry out only.' She informed us and even asked her team leader/manager if there could be an exception this once since we arrived right at 5. I appreciate that she was kind and with perfect customer service asked her higher level members if there was anything to be done to help. The answer was promptly answered with "No!" The higher level staff were rude, offered no exception and in the time it took us to figure out a different place to go requested we "get out of the way, leave" twice. No one stopped to talk with us. They kept buzzing around flipping chairs onto tables and in an extremely dismissive way said "you are welcome to order and take it with you." We didn't have the opportunity to try their food. Panera has always been one of my favorite places to eat. The #1 reason I am taking the time to post a review was the way we were treated by senior staff! Poor examples to other, newer staff. We are from 2 hours away, normally enjoy the area very much. Yes, there were like 10 of us. But, we are all moms that we're out shopping without the kids and we REALLY wanted a welcoming place to sit, eat warm food, and enjoy the little time we had to spend time together. It was not a good feeling to feel in the way or bothersome, just because we showed up at 5! To clarify: dining room closes at 5, restaurant closes at 7. Will we try to eat here again? Not at this Panera. That is sad because other Panera's go above and beyond, show pride in their delicious food and have a welcoming feel. Boooo! read more

Um I'm literally the only person here, there are four people working, and I've been waiting for 15 minutes for my sandwich. Apparently one person here thanks the orders and everyone else chats. Ordered takeout from here one night and stopped back in for tea and a pastry the following morning during a one-night stopover in Wheeling. The service was great both times with my order being read back to me each time for accuracy. I have to say, the takeout order was perfect except for my baguette being a little on the stale side (it was the end of the day so that's probably the reason). It's always a treat to get takeout that's well wrapped with nothing leaking and everything staying the appropriate temperature. They also included all of the necessary utensils needed to enjoy the meal, which was essential given that we were eating in a hotel room. The tea and pastries the next morning were very fair. I thought the pastries could have benefited from some warming and the cashier disappeared into the back to pour the hot water for the tea and took quite a long time to come back for such a straightforward task. Also, as far as gripes go, the tables could really have used some cleaning off when I was there in the evenings. Lots of crumbs and drink rings on most of the tables that I observed. read more

Stopped in for a quick bite traveling back from VA. Bonus for outdoor seating with umbrellas so I can sit outside with my dog. Average Panera with clean bathrooms and tables. Quick service using the pagers system. Also offers rapid pick up. Only thing new to me was the tipping system at check out. They offer customers chance to give a tip using 5, 10, 15, etc percentages rounded up. Not sure I like that but it seems most places tip now. It didn't seem to matter to cashier that I did tip. I wonder how they split the tips? read more

First of all the location in the map was wrong so I could not check in. Then we'll Panera it is lots and lots of sweet stuff with calorie amounts behind them on the menus so you know what you are getting yourself into. Coffee is weak and my server did not know how to ring up an extra shot of espresso( called EXPRESSO here... sigh) while i ate my bagel waiting for my latte, a lady came to the counter and told the manager that all the drip coffee containers at the self serve were empty. i was don't with my bagel already when i finally got my coffee. the self serve area was apparently filled up but not cleaned, coffee , cream and sugar spilled all over the place. no thank you guys read more

Another Panera Review for me as it does seem do be one of my favorite places to eat. It is casual, quick service, soup, free wifi, and a good place to feed a baby while on a trip. The one problem that I have encountered at Panera and it happened here twice for me is that the food has been setting around a little too long when you stop in here after 6. This place must do good business during the day because the bakery is stripped bare by 6. They were still doing ok business in the evening, but we had half of the dining room to choose from. My little girl needed some nourishment and a place where we felt comfortable feeding and burping her. This place worked out very well for that use. The food on the other hand was a little dry. My Broccoli Cheddar was good as always but just lukewarm and I could tell it was made much earlier in the day. My wife's panini was similar to this as she chastised herself for ordering it again because this happened before. This does provide a nice stop in this area over the fast food joints. The place is roomy, clean bathrooms, plenty of comfortable seats, and wifi. Just go here in the morning. read more

By far the worst Panera I've been to, in regards to breakfast. First sandwich ordered asiago bacon/egg: I received no egg, burnt dried bread. Than the second sandwich asiago/bacon/egg. The sausage was like cardboard and the bread was burnt. My Labrador wouldn't even eat the sandwich! Waste of $10! read more

Wife lives Panera salads. We went here as a stop on a trip at around 6 pm. There were 3 kids working and no apparent manager or leader. In the kids' defense, they were trying. Service was very slow. First time eating at any Panera, however my girlfriend loves the place and insisted we try it out. First thing you notice is the inside decor and smell. Very clean and the smells of fresh bagels and breads clutter the room. However, the food is sub par at best. I'm giving this place two stars because the food I ordered, which was the avocado chicken panini and turkey chili were both bland and small. I mean small to the point of absurdity. It was as if I was being fed as a toddler. Actually a toddler would still be hungry after this monstrosity of nothingness. Customer service is the worse. Our cashier was totally incapable of taking our orders and openly admitted she "had a rough night" and therefore wasn't doing well. Last night my husband and I walked into the Panera bread in Triadelphia, WV at 8:52, knowing they closed at 9 but just wanting to get a quick sandwich. As soon as we walked in the door, the three people behind the counter said loudly "Ugh, I thought we were closed. Didn't someone lock the door?" So obviously we felt uncomfortable, but we'd been driving for almost 5 hours and were starving so we went ahead and ordered, but almost everything we tried to order the cashier told us "We're out of that." We finally figured out something and got our sandwiches and were out of the restaurant by 9:02 pm. I worked as a waitress when I was younger so I know it's a little frustrating when you're trying to close up, but I would NEVER make comments like these women did in front of paying customers or get visibly upset that someone walked in 8 minutes before closing. read more

Was HORRIBLE!!!! Green tea is not really green tea, my daughter hated the dressing on her Caesar salad, my husband's pastry wasn't warmed up and the biggest thing that got us was that when my gross drink was spilled, the lady stocking the drink station saw what happened and DIDN'T OFFER ANY ASSISTANCE AT ALL, SHE RAN AND HID. I paid over 30$ for crap. & I was so excited because we are from the south traveling north and we decided to just grab a light bite to eat. NEVER AGAIN!!!
