The food was alright at most. But what got me the most was the price. Regretfully, I paid for half a sandwich with a small cup of broccoli soup, $11.00. And as silly as this may sound, a few days ago they send me an email saying if I fill the survey out I WILL be entered for a chance to win $100. Around 10:20 in the morning At this El Dorado location I'm trying to enjoy my breakfast, when a Lady in Red, long black hair who I believe was a manager was speaking very harsh to one of her employees discussing things about the employees health out in the open which is not okay, It was absolutely disgusting I lost my appetite hearing someone get treated that way. Once they all noticed how fast I turned she decided to change her tone of voice towards the employee. Those matters should be spoken in private not in the lobby. Yuck, yuck! I got some flatbread sandwich, which was just ok, and I believe it was the wild rice soup that was highly recommended by the guy in the drive thru. The soup was thick, gloppy, and gelatinous, like a can of Campbell's cream of chicken soup. Yuck! I remember Panera being really fresh, seems they have so much on their menu it comes in cans now. Why did I even bother stopping by here? The staff isn't pleasant and most don't seem to be trained in customer service. I've never been greeted when I walk into the store and the order takers are just not polite and don't seem to care. Also the bagels were salty, I wasn't offered the option of having them sliced or if wanted cream cheese to go with it. To make it worse, instead of charging me the price for bakers dozen, I was charged for 13 bagels individually!!! This will be my last visit. I am pretty sure it won't be missed. read more

My wife got a bagel at this bakery fairly regularly before they moved here. We went this morning. I like the layout better than the previous location but the food is the same. When we go together we always share the cinnamon crunch bagel with hazelnut cream cheese spread. It's delicious. The place always looks clean and the service is good. Some people come here to use their convenient and free Wi-Fi. UPDATE: Shucks, they've discontinued the hazlenut cream cheese. I normally go to the location to pick up my order but on occasion I order delivery. I have a new baby and a three year old and my husband is deployed so I didn't feel like lugging both the kids out to get food. I ordered delivery and what came was unacceptable. Usually I get a survey in my email and am able to leave feedback about my delivery order, but this time I did not. So here I am, leaving a review. I ordered a veggie quinoa broth bowl and a grilled cheese kids meal for my daughter. The lid on my bowl was lifted up and broth was leaking out. My daughter's grilled cheese felt like it had been sitting under a heat lamp forever as it was not even chewable. Do they even have heat lamps? If you need to get your order fast, don't bother with their Rapid Pick-Up. It is anything but quick. It regularly takes them an extra 10-20 minutes after my order is supposed to be ready for them to even begin to start making it. And all I order is a hot tea. If they were busy, I'd understand. I seriously saw a man today who cleaned out the oven that is behind the cooks "stainless steel utility with door pulled forward" I think it was the oven, anyways I saw him cleaning it out with a Dyson Cordless vacuum! Let me set it up for you for anyone who can visualize in their mind, when we were done ordering our food and walking towards the seating area, I saw the previously mention man, taking the charger out of the Dyson and removing the vacuum main bottom part, and then he proceeded to take it into the kitchen and use it to clean out the oven. I'm not sure how many people own one of these amazing vacuums but when you pull the trigger, the residual dirt that is incased in the dirt holder gets released out. So I want you to think that the minute he put that vacuum in the oven without the bottom piece, the dirt that they picked up from the carpets throughout the business just released into that stove and around the food prep area. Just thinking about this is making my stomach turn. I hope this review gets to the right person. I don't know if this is standard practice at every Panera nationwide, but I can assure you I most certainly will not be back! read more

I loved it so much that I have ordered it everyday this week. As I am about to order the same thing this morning awaiting my delivery the young lady delivered my order, and just as I am about to open it I found hair in parfait and I almost died.. I was looking forward to this all morning. I called and spoke with the manger and he had the young lady deliver me another parfait. This is the first Panera Bread I've been to that has a drive thru, and I think it's best that way. It takes them a while to make the food usually so the drive thru either means you'll be waiting a long time or your food will be slopped together. Ours was a combination of the two. With six people in the car though, I was surprised they got everything right! And everything tasted good except some of the bad lettuce in our salads. The negatives were not being able to hear the drive thru worker while we were ordering because it's in a busy area with a lot of cars driving by. And she also lied to us and said they discontinued some of their pastas until Wednesday (two days after we were there). Why not just say that you're out of ingredients or too lazy to make more? I'm hesitant to share what I get because I want them all to myself! :) But I'll be nice and tell you. They make the most amazing orange scones and chai tea here. Typically my scone is ready immediately after paying but the chai can take a couple of minutes, even on a slow day. Which is something they can improve on so I can't hate too much. :) And also they have a rewards card you scan. This is the second time I have come to this Panera Bread. The first time I was with my boyfriend and we ordered through the drive through. I ordered the half sandwich and half soup and I received a large soup and whole sandwich. I went in and said my order was messed up, the manager came out and was nice about it. Fixed my order and gave us free brownies and cookies! Now today I thought to give them another try. I went in with my mom, ordered the half potato soup and half Turkey BLT & avocado sandwich with an iced Chai Tea latte. My mom got a half salad and half black bean soup with an iced tea. When the girl at the front asked if I wanted chips or an apple I asked if they can cut the apple, and she said yes, I said okay I want it cut. All of the tables had crumbs on them I tried to pick the cleanest one, had to brush off crumbs from the chair. There was only two other tables with people so it seemed slow. Not even a minute passes after we sit down and our food is out, which makes me think was it just sitting out already ready? How old is this food we are eating? As soon as the waitress puts my food down I notice the apple is not cut. I didn't say anything because I didn't care that much. Then as I picked up my sandwich a huge chunk of avocado falls out with the skin still on it... How do you miss that when preparing a sandwich? At that point I had to say something. I told the waitress, she said sorry about the avocado and took the apple. When she comes back she brings me a bowl of cut apples that were obviously brown and old.... I mean come on I can't get a fresh cut apple after finding avocado skin in my sandwich and they didn't bring me a cut apple in the first place? Do they just have cut apples back there getting old? My mom liked her food and the chai tea I had was good. My potato soup was lukewarm, I didn't touch the brown apples. Over all I had a poor experience. I posted a picture of the brown apples, and the avocado chunk. The staff here seem lazy, and the food was thrown together. Whoever is running this location needs to retrain their staff and probably focus on quality rather than serving speed. I won't be coming here again. read more

Absolutely horrible experience. The staff couldn't get a simple order correct to save their lives. Had to send my order back 3 times because they kept bringing someone else's food to my table. I then caught the delivery person handling the order without gloves in an attempt to get 2 orders corrected. While I admire the initiative to correct what the kitchen staff seemed unable to do, I had to refuse the food and ask for a refund as I didn't care to have someone else's germs all over my food, let alone eat cold food that had been paraded through the entire cafe 3 times. Management was rude but did refund our entire meal, good thing since none of the food was touched or eaten by our party. I did file a formal complaint with Panera Corporate and since this is a franchise location they referred me to the owners. I got an initial email and have heard nothing else so I seriously doubt that anything was done. We come here religiously for healthy, fast, take out. One Huge thing they have going for them: their fast drive thru. I was actually surprised by how quickly they were able to put our order together, especially given how Panera's entree's tend to be more sophisticated than your typical fast food restaurant. The food: the sandwiches are good-- we typically get the turkey bacon bravo, but have also tried the turkey kale. Both are excellent. The french baguette, however, tends to be dry, bland, and disappointing every time. Convenient, fast, and decent in quality. This Panera is definitely a good alternative for a healthier quick bite. I come to this location frequently - several times per month. They always get my order correct, and the food is always good. It is clean and comfortable. I typically have a good experience here. However, lately I've noticed how obnoxiously loud the staff behind the line are! Especially today, I can hear several conversations I do not wish to hear (about personal things) that are being had at above a normal conversationally volume, despite the fact that I'm sitting across the restaurant. Even some of the staff are telling their coworkers to be quiet! This is particularly irritating to those who are trying to have conversations or read. In these instances, I wonder where the manager is! The staff are friendly, but seem to be WAY more interested in their conversations and flirting with each other than in their jobs. Me and my husband eat here frequently, and every time we have great service. I really love the Mediterranean egg white spinach. It has spinach, pesto, tomatoes, and cheese. The food was ready before I even had time to sit down. This concept in particular never fails to amaze my taste buds. However is quality in customer service seems to have gone down. Only one girl to man the front counter and she seems agitated and nervous. Then there's another girl who's appearance (sloppy hair, shirt half way tucked) gets in the way of her customer service. She's cleaning down tables with a rag and then without any hesitation is delivering plates of food to guests(no gloves, no sanitation). Extremely disappointed in this Panera Bread. I have been coming to this location regularly ( a couple of times per week at least!) and today took the cake. I've noticed a difference in the size and quality of "dine in" vs "take out" or "delivery" but today was worse than usual. I pretty much order the same thing, Napa Valley Chicken Salad Sandwich, Mac n' Cheese, Chicken Noodle Soup, or Strawberry Poppyseed Salad with Chicken. Today, I ordered a whole Napa Valley Chicken Salad Sandwich ($7.79) and a small Mac & Cheese ($5.49) via rapid pick up. I get my food, take it home, ready to eat the deliciousness waiting for me to find a lettuce and tomato laden sandwich with scant chicken salad. I pulled all of the veggies off the sandwich and even dispersed the minute amount of chicken salad between the two halves of the sandwich. Typically, I can eat half of this sandwich and be satisfied...not today, I ate the entire thing and was still hungry. Bring on my Mac & cheese. What to my wondering eyes appear...half an order of a half order of mac & cheese! What! This is not happening! I have been working my tush off today and all I want is my Panera. I'm hungry!
