Service was awesome! The manager was making sure the lunch was running smooth, the line was moving fast and the staff was the most helpful I saw at any Panera location. Great job guys! Very clean store and I especially enjoyed my blueberry lemonade! Great ambiance!

I ordered the new French dip sandwich. As you can tell by the picture, what is advertised is a nice overflowing sandwich and what I received was a few pieces of gray meat.

The customer service at this location is really great. The servers at the counter are super helpful and our food came out quickly despite it being packed. Decor and atmosphere are a little outdated but all in all solid location to grab a quick bite.

No arugula and other components are missing as well.

Firstly, Panera Bread food is good. Their sandwiches and salads and bakery items are fantastic. This poor review is regarding poor management, poor service and poor customer care. No. 1: On 4 separate occasions when we ordered a salad the food preparers forget to include the arugula, or the yogurt. See the photos attached. They don't tell you until you drive away. On one occasion we ate in the dining room and went back to the food pick up counter to let them know the arugula was missing and they snapped back "We're out." No apology. No offer to replace with another type of salad. And a chip on the shoulder attitude. No. 2: Some of the male food preparers ogle girls. Unprofessional and creepy. No. 3: A female food preparer was handling the food and breaking bread without gloves. I've been coming to this place for years and for whatever reason, the food preparers are always rowdy, rude and unprofessional. This store has high managerial turn over. I think they need someone strong enough to handle the types of food preparers they hire. They are not friendly. The cashiers, on the other hand, are always friendly and warm.

I decided to take home an extra pizza so I got a Pete's special in gluten free and that was very good as well. Generally kind of dirty feeling. Bathroom is not super clean, and the hand soap dispenser still doesn't work as in someone else's previous post. They've put out dishwasher soap as an alternative, but, c'mon now... As for the food. We ordered a house salad (pretty terrible) and a medium plain cheese. The pizza was eh. 2/5 stars max. Not sure how ppl can rate the pizza highly when you have such stellar examples of what great pizza actually tastes like not too far away in New Haven. It's strip mall pizza. Don't go in expecting high quality food. But, yeah, the guy at the counter was super nice, and that counts for something in my book.

I popped in because the parking lot was mostly empty. It wasn't particularly busy in the cafe either. There were two small groups ahead of me in line. I order my food and black iced coffee to go. I received my food. It even had to be heated. And I had to wait 10 minutes for them to give me my black iced coffee. Even though there are only two or three people waiting in the drink area. And that was after I said something. So who knows how long it would have taken. This isn't because of lack of effort. The baristas were doing things. They're making lots of drinks. But it's not clear for whom. They finish the drinks and they don't call people's names. Maybe they're for to go orders? I understand that restaurants need to make choices about how they run things. All I can say is, that it's not a good experience to get all of your food and you have to wait for a black iced coffee (a drink that takes very minimal effort) for 10 minutes. Even though you're one of only a few people in the drink area. I'm not going to change my review score. But these experiences definitely affect how often I visit.

And if you want to try a sandwich that explodes with flavors you've gotta follow me on this. I ordered the Italian sub, Mike's Way, with spices and wet Now here's where it gets really interesting and the explosion happens On top of the sandwich construction, I asked for jalapeño peppers and banana peppers, finished off with pickles And the plain piece of bread that's gonna be the top piece, I added mayonnaise and the spicy relish Once these flavors mesh together, this is possibly the best combo there is at any grinder shop in the world in my humble opinion The explosion of flavors and crunch is simply amazing. Done this way it is possibly the greatest tasting grinder ever constructed. The heat, the banana peppers, the hot relish, oil/vinegar wetness, Italian spices freshness to the bread, flavor in the meats and cheese, with a pickle on top, oh my! They nail it every single time -- simple, classic, perfect. For lunch, the "Sweetness" sandwich has been my longtime favorite. It's a unique and surprisingly perfect combination: Black Forest ham, Swiss cheese, crisp red apple slices, and honey mustard on a sub roll. Pair it with one of their deli salads and a bag of chips and you've got an outstanding lunch that hits every note. I only wish I had a deli like this back home in Western NY.
