If you like being lied to and want a place that treats their customers like stupid idiots, then this is the place for you. We placed an order through Seamless, received a confirmation, and were charged for our order. After over an hour and a half, we still did not receiver our order. I called Panini Grill to inquire about the order and after being put on hold repeatedly, we were told after about 20 minutes that there was a problem with Seamless and that they just got the order. I have used Seamless many times and know how it works. A customer will not get charged if the restaurant did not receive the order. So clearly, the girl on the phone was lying and trying to cover up their screw up that they didn't actually put the order in. And not only that, while we were on the phone, the girl kept saying that there was a big party and she couldn't hear, especially when I asked to speak to the manager. I was finally connected to a manager after about 20 minutes and explained that I don't appreciate being lied to and treated like I'm dumb. If there was a screw up, admit and move on. I will surely never order or go to this place again. To the manager, Rosario or whatever your name is, train your staff not to lie to your customers. read more

I have been going to Panini Grill since they opened several years ago, and in my opinion they have the best eggplant rollatini and I get it every time. Their nachos are also amazing. You don't get the feeling that you are rushed and the staff never bother you to leave. They lose a star because their service is TERRIBLE, though I do like the waiter Jay-- he's hilarious but incredibly unprofessional. The owners are also odd though good natured. The other day I saw the owner packing away cans of tomatoes into his own Nissan. Very questionable. His wife is also a total idiot--someone in my party ordered a dish not knowing it takes 45 minutes to cook (should've been noted in the menu), and a member of my party complained about how long the food was taking. She made a big show of saying "I wish I knew what I could do!" and "I hope there was something I could do to fix this!" Yea, lady? Customer service isn't that hard--just make the guests feel welcome. Either offer free coffee or dessert or take the 45 minute dish off the bill. Very simple. Please owners, learn how to manage your employees and please take a customer service seminar. The staff is personable, while also providing quality service. They are willing to accommodate the customer by removing, adding, or switching something from a sandwich or entrée if requested, without making a big fuss. Unlike other restaurants which may limit certain items according to the time of day, at Panini Grill we also like that a sandwich or entrée can be ordered during lunch or dinner time. The owner, Rosario, is equally welcoming whether you are a new or a repeat customer. We can say this from our own personal experience, which is one of the reasons we keep coming back. The best!! They have a variety of outstanding salads. When you order a salad they don't down it in dressing like other restaurants:) most of my family is gluten free and you can order any kind of pizza or pasta gluten-free without a problem.They make everything with love and you can defiantly taste that in the food!!!! read more

That seems crazy to me ..it was good thou and I was suppose to have whole wheat pasta but it wasn't .... I was very sad to see Pal Joey's go, as it was a staple in my childhood, but Panini Grill is a great addition to the neighborhood. I haven't been here for dinner, but the lunch and weekend brunch are both wonderful. When it's warm and the front of the restaurant is open, you forget where you are. The brunch is absolutely delicious - particularly the fruit bruschetta - I get it every time! The eggs benedict was also phenomenal. read more

A great find for the gluten-free! The new owners really did a great job with this restaurant. The previous owners offered gluten-free selections but neither they nor their kitchen staff had no clue as to cross-contamination etc. Been there a few times now and have had no problem. Panini Grill has the best gluten-free pizza crust I've found which they also use to make their gluten-free paninis. {I was shown the crust, which comes separately packaged and wrapped.} Their regular menu is wonderful as well and they have the best salads. The owners and wait staff are wonderfully friendly and accommodating. My new go-to restaurant! read more

Gave this place a second chance after a mediocre first try that included sending soup back THREE times before it was hot and inattentive manager/owners. Second time was WORSE! The chicken in our dish was stringy and we ordered apps that were read to us with the specials, imagine our surprise when the check came and the app ( FOUR won tons=$16.00!!!) cost more than our entrée!!! When I asked for the manager he approached me in a rude, aggressive manner and insisted they were "hand made", not frozen. Was my stringy chicken frozen then since it cost less than FOUR won tons?!? Went to panini grill last week for my son's bday. The meal was excellent until we ordered dessert. My son (11 years old) ordered vanilla ice cream in which there was a piece of glass that he had to spit out of his mouth. Obviously it was accidental, however, there was barely an apology given. No offer of anything as an apology.....not even to take dessert off the bill.....there were 4 adults that had full meals & wine. I believe in an effort of good business, more than an "oopppss" should have been offered. Especially since it was a child who had the glass in their mouth. There wasn't an ounce of concern or effort to welcome back the business. Obviously they've lost our business & I've shared our experience with our neighborhood friends. Shame. We used to order all the time. Last year, the sandwiches we were delivered were cheap and skimpy suddenly. I always order an eggplant panini, which comes with fresh mozzarella and roasted red peppers. At least three times they sent me a sandwich with a couple of strings of red pepper, and a SMIDGE of mozz which definitely was not fresh mozz. We gave them the benefit of the doubt a couple of times, but I will no longer order from here. Our good friends introduced us to the best version of heaven on earth today: the Panini Grill. I'm not kidding! I've eaten at several Italian restaurants that have very good meals, and I will eat there again. But the Panini Grill is out and out, El Supremo. It wasn't just great - it was fantastic!!! We all shared a margherita pizza that had a delectable thin crust, with a light coating of sauce and strips of basil. Out of sight! It just melted in your mouth and was yummy to the tummy. Then we ordered our main courses, that arrived at our table freshly and exquisitely prepared. Our pal Roti went with the prix-fixe menu, which included a dish of four cheese and pear pasta sauce, with lobster sauce. Where as some places simply wave a lobster over their sauce, you could really taste the lobster in this one. I would have had this alone as my main dish. However, I was very content with gobbling up my Gamberoni Orgenata. My wife had a panini grill sandwich, but I was to busy enjoying my meal to remember what her dish was called. Suffice it to say, she was raving about it too! We finished up by sharing two desserts. Though all were nearly at the point of implosion, the desserts were definitely worth that risk! I have been coming to Panini Grill for years since previous owners and continued with the new establishment never having any problems. The food is always consistent, however the service within my last two visits shows it definitely needs improvements. I came on 8/4/17 with a friend for lunch, the place was packed and we had no problem waiting. A party of four walks in a few minutes after us and was seated first. There was two tables in a row both with seating for up to four people; so why was my party of two disregarded when we both could have easily been taken care of? Our waiter was rude and waved us over instead of walking us to our table. I understand it was lunch and it was busy, but he was not friendly like staff in the past. It is sad because the owners are wonderful people and I hate complaining. I hope Panini Grill tweaks their customer service so I can enjoy one of my favorite restaurants in the area. read more

I enjoy the food, rerasonable porices and ambiance, however the service is incredibly bad. I sat with my wife for 1/2 hour and was given a couple of cold garlic knots, no drink order taken and basically no attention was paid to us. We watched while others who were seated after us got served while we watched. We got up and walked out. I will never go back. There are better choices in the neighborhood. I suggest the owner hire some adults to wait tables and get rid of the kids, they dont know what they are doing. A good cleaning wouldnt hurt either. read more

Have not been here in a while - tried to avoid going because of brutish and rude owner who doesn't care about his business or customers. We went back to give it another shot since food had been good previously but not anymore. Foccacia bread served was cold and stale. My husband had rubbery chicken drowned in greasy gravy. My chicken parm had little sauce and gloppy cheese dumped on overcooked pasta. Place is bland looking and isn't clean. The first table we sat at was wobbling and waitress said it was always a problem. Feels like a cafeteria. They are waiting for a rating - good luck with that. Asked for leftovers to be wrapped - had a lot left. As waitress was wrapping she was coughing. Avoid this place! read more

Food was excellent. Our waitress was excellent. We went on a Sunday evening and were the last table. When we walked in at about 8:30 there was only one table seated at the time. After our dessert a friend asked one of the staff, "Oh, are we keep in you?" Which I guess we were since we were the only table at the time, which was about 10pm. The staff member just looked around as if we should've known and hurried ourselves out of there. I went to the bathroom and when I came out I could hear him telling the other staff members the story. I've worked in the restaurant business a good chunk of my life and I understand the late table scenario but we were seated early. If they would've said they were closing at a specific time then we might have chosen a different place to dine. I'd go back because the food was superb and our waitress was as well.
