I'm going to start saying that omg they have some good coffee and tiramisu it's delicious too, we ordered a plain latte and it was strong and perfect, since we were waiting for some friends to join us so we start with the dessert and it was delicious, they we ordered the family meal with chicken and beef and it was very good, also the salads were very Fresh and good, we ordered the one with strawberries and the avocado one and both were good, we algo tried the humus Sample and we really like it too, the service was outstanding, since the beginning.

    1 Koobideh Skewer, chicken Plate

Been to many Panini locations, but this was my first time at the Riverside location. The service was mediocre as we waited five minutes to even be seated when the restaurant was pretty empty and food took long. Besides that, the food was great as always and the portions big. The beef koobideh or chicken plate are always great options (pictured). This location is conveniently located on the outside part of the mall with plenty of mall parking. There's some outdoor seating in the mall and indoor seating inside the restaurant. Plenty of seating.

Beef Koobideh Kabob, Bulgar Wheat, & Mediterranean Greek Salad

We ate here at Panini Grill a few months ago. We had the beef kabobs. I had brown rice & romaine avocado salad. My friend had the bulgar wheat pilaf and Mediterranean salad. The service was terrible. I had to go to the counter to pay even though they had table service. Honestly, one of the worst experiences I've had there.

Exceptional customer service! From beginning to end I felt valued. The menu offers a variety of options with amazing portion sizes and value. The chicken skewer plate is a go-to favorite that never disappoints (10/10). They also have amazing baklava that you have to try! Great place to relax and enjoy a quality meal.

DO NOT EAT HERE. unless you want to be sick. this food is unsafe and inedible. This was genuinely one of the worst restaurant experiences I've ever had. We spent almost $200 on dinner just to receive food that was unsafe to eat, incomplete, cold, and poorly prepared. The issue was not "just the rice portions" like Nancy Lopez tried to minimize it to. Nearly every item in the order had a problem. The meat was undercooked and pink, the rice was hard and not cooked, the vegetables were not cooked, the salad was warm and wilted, and multiple items were missing entirely. We waited over TWO HOURS while the rest of our food sat getting cold because we were repeatedly told the rice was still being made. What made this even worse was the response afterward. Despite sending photos and explaining everything in detail, management acted dismissive and offered only a $25 gift card for an almost $200 order. Offering store credit after serving undercooked food and ruining a family holiday dinner is insulting. Nancy Lopez, the customer service response felt like a joke. Being offered a $25 gift card after an almost $200 order with undercooked food, missing items, and a two-hour wait showed how little accountability this restaurant was willing to take. Take ownership since you're the manager and manage. Apparently customers are expected to photograph every single issue from every angle in order to be taken seriously. The fact that raw and undercooked meat was served should already be enough cause for concern. Food safety should matter more than arguing over whether every issue was perfectly documented. We spent hours waiting for food that ultimately got thrown away because nobody could eat it. Don't come to this location! A history of bugs in their food should tell you enough.

    Sooo good

Food is amazingly good! Service is the worst! Taking 10 minutes for a to-go container and check. They have at least 5 servers but pretty disappointed on service and think they should install their own drink station so we can get a refill with our meal. So if you dont have patience for that... Probablywould ruin a good lunch experience

Love the chicken! Big fan of the chicken in everything- salad, pasta and wraps! The bread basket is also a family favorite to share! The vibe is casual and relaxed. The staff is always busy, sometimes it's hard to get their attention but once you have it they do their best!

Charbroiled, chicken, kebab entrée and Appetizer combo plate.
    Tina G.

I was really hoping for better but it's not bad. The food and service needs improvement. First the food: I got the Appetizer Combo Platter which has 3 hummus flavors, 4 falafels, tzatziki, 2 caprese and pita bread. It was just okay. The biggest disappointment was the hummus. They were all lumpy/gritty. The Plain was decent and a bit smoother but I hated the Edamame flavor. They use cheap mozzarella in the caprese. The falafels were okay but very crispy outside and soft/ crumbly inside. The tzatziki and pita bread was good. I've tasted much better but they are not the worst ever. My hubby ordered the Charbroiled Chicken Kebab entree and it is huge! The chicken was flavorful and tender, the rice was a tad dry but okay and Cesar salad was decent. It was better than what I had. Now about the service: When we got there, there were 2 parties of ahead of us waiting to be seated but no host in sight. It was taking a while because there are only 2 servers and one was cleaning a lot of tables. The server was nice but never came back except to give us the check. What the heck is management doing?! It was clean and it's cute inside and outside but, Would I come back? Only if my hubby wanted to, and I'd get the chicken kebab. Otherwise, I'd have to say no. it's just another chain restaurant with a declining quality of food.

Family Platter with Chicken, Salmon & Koobideh with Basmati Rice & Bulgur Pilaf

We came here because Hubby's work catered from here. The restaurant has access from outside as well as inside the Galleria at Tyler. Parking is basically anywhere at the mall. We were seated right away, it took a while to get our drink order and table settings. Once we got our drinks we ordered appetizers and meal to hep speed up the visit. Restaurant was not crowded and had hostess, servers and bussers around. Our waiter on a scare 1-10, was a 3. He was very efficient and quick never came to check on us once we received our food. Glasses stayed empty. The service was the only downfall, but the food made up for it. We got a sampler platter so we could try all 4 different appetizers. Our favorite was the hummus and bread. Our family platter was amazing 7.5 out of 10. I wish it was more temperature hot it seemed to be a little on the cool side. I will try this place again in a different city and see how the service is.

This place is really cool. Actually it's pretty cold inside so you might wanna wear a jacket considering the last couple times I've been here. Anyways, I love the family meal and it's perfect for a party of four. The service was OK. I'll be back.

This is not our first time here but on birthday dinners this place now top our list. It's inside Tyler Mall, sitting is nice. There is sitting inside the restaurant and part is in the mall hallway. Food is served at a reasonable amount of time and servers are attentive and friendly. We love how the grilled food taste: tender and full of flavor! It's served on a huge dish and put up on a rack. Definitely recommend this place if you like Mediterranean food!

I've had halal kabobs from restaurants all over SoCal and the country and this place is still my favorite. It's a great option for catering (I always get the family platter pictured) and this was my go to place when we lived nearby - the flavors are tasty but not too overpowering so it works for all guests no matter their spice preference. We still drive up to 30 mins to cater from here because the food is always so good and a reliable hit with any guests that we have over. FOOD: The meat is not just flavorful but most importantly, it's somehow always just so moist, so juicy, and so tender all the way through. And it's not just the meats - every item they serve is just really unexpectedly delicious. At most kabob places, the rice/pita/salad/hummus are just weak add ons to fill up the plate, but these items are always so delicious at Kabob House and you can always taste the flavor bursting in every item (my fav is the salad which has a lemon/vinegary kick to it that just elevates the meal). All the items on the menu are great, but my personal favorite is the salmon kabob (if you've never had a salmon kabob, do yourself a favor and try it out and at least add one skewer of it if you get a combo) - the owner recommended this to me years ago, and I've always added at least a couple skewers every time since - all my guests rave about it. SERVICE/AMBIANCE It's a small casual family owned restaurant and the service is always super friendly. You can see the food being made fresh behind the counter which shows their confidence - it's clear they take immense pride in the quality of all their items and are eager to share their food and Palestinian heritage. The price is also exceptional value for the quantity of food you get, especially compared to other similar restaurants. OVERALL: I will continue to eat from here and would highly recommend trying it out.

Reviews were good, local hole in the wall, let's find out... Service is counter, friendly and nice. As befits the current economy, prices are a bit higher for a local lunch. Food was excellent, enjoyed my Kafta very much although I would have preferred a grilled tomato and peppers like other places have. Bread was good, rice was good. Soda refillable :-) I will definitely try again when in the city. Recommended!!

I placed an order online for pickup and was given a pickup time. The place is very open, spacious and just has a neat vibe to it. I walked right up to the counter to give them my name for pick up and they said they were finishing it up. There were other people waiting for their orders as well. A couple minutes later, the gentleman behind the counter called out "Daniel" and the guy waiting next to me jumped right in and grabbed the bag and took off. I had wondered "I hope they didn't pronounce my name wrong and that was MY order." But didn't think much of it. Then the gentleman behind the counter asked me the name for my order. When I said "Danielle" he said "oh that was yours, the guy just left." He kind of looked at me like it was my problem to fix, so I took off after the guy and the employee followed me. Thankfully, the guy didn't get very far because he was verifying the order, so we made the exchange. Whew! I ordered the charbroiled chicken shish kabob with extra grilled veggies and a side Mediterranean salad as well as the hummus trio with sliced cucumbers instead of pita bread. The chicken kabob meal was delicious! The chicken was cooked to perfection and the option to add on more veggies was much appreciated! I was really excited about the hummus trio, but sadly I found it to be lacking flavor. With the 3 options of regular hummus, spicy red bell pepper and edamame, I was definitely expecting a flavor explosion, but it fell flat for me. I'd definitely come back to try more of their main dishes. Seems like a great little spot to dine in.

It started going downhill when they got rid of the PKG Rewards. We stopped going soon after that. For some reason, we decided to give a chance one more time a couple of days ago. Big mistake. We ordered to-go, and got the "Family Kabob Combo", 2 skewers. Since we're not big fans of their chicken, we subbed one of the chicken skewers for two Koobideh (with an upcharge of $6) and one Salmon skewer (with another upcharge of $5). The total was $45.97 + Tax ($3.56), grand total of $49.53. This would have been OK, if they gave you a reasonable amount of food for what you pay. Instead, we got a large container of rice, and two small containers of meat and vegetables. Unfortunately, as you can see from the photos, what you get meat-wise is basically extremely skimpy. The two Koobideh skewers weighed a total of 10 OZ. That's TWO of them together (see photo), not one, they weighed only 5 OZ each - barely more than a quarter pound hamburger. The Salmon "skewer" had a total of 5 pieces of salmon, each weighing only 0.8 OZ each, a total of 4 OZ! So what we got for the princely sum of $50 was 14 OZ of meat total - less than a pound, and a whole lot of rice, which costs them next to nothing. If you look at a lot of the older photos of the Koobideh skewers here on Yelp, you can see how much they have shrunk in just a few short years. My guesstimate is they're 50% smaller than they used to be, I know for sure since I bought them in the past that they used to be much larger. The price has increased 35% since we last ate here a couple of years ago, and you get 50% less food for that money, losing on both ends of the transaction. We feel cheated, to say the least. It's too bad, since we do like the taste of the food itself, it hasn't changed - what has changed is the value for what you pay. It isn't worth what they're charging for such a little bit of food (many other restaurants have gone the same way, sad to say). We won't be eating there ever again after this experience, it's impossible to enjoy a meal when you know you're being ripped off.
