Made the mistake of ordering pick up on Halloween. There was a line out the door and it was total chaos. First problem was the delivery driver was parked in the handicap spot closest to the store with now handicap plate or placard. I ordered through the app and when it said my order was ready I went to the counter and they let me know it actually wasn't and I had to wait another 15-20 mins. There didn't seem to be anyone keeping things under control except for this sweet girl running the register. She was the best. She kept a level head and was the one communicating with the customers keeping everyone in order. She is the only reason I didn't give just one star. read more

Let me start by saying that I normally choose local shops over chain shops and that I do not normally like to get delivery bc I do not agree with paying a delivery fee plus a tip. However, my daughter wanted a stuffed crust pizza and none of the local shops do that and I had some Papa's Cash that I needed to use. I ordered a cheese stuffed crust pizza and a sausage NY XL pizza via the online app which will default to a previous card if you listed one. It was little painful to try and use a different card bc it wants to use the registered card and I had to go in the app and delete it. My order arrived on time via Door Dash but the driver only had one pizza and when I advised I ordered two pizzas he went back to the car and grabbed my other pizza or so I thought. I should have checked bc it was the wrong pizza and it belonged to someone else (sorry whoever's pizza I took). I tried to catch the driver but he was already gone. Since the pizza missing was the stuffed crust my daughter wanted i called and asked for another to be delivered. The store advised they would send another pizza in 25 minutes. At 40 minutes I called back and learned it was enroute but the driver had other stops. The pizza arrived a short time later and my daughter enjoyed it. My pizza was now cold. I think 2 stars is about right as that is their current rating, just enough customer service to keep them from getting a one star review but not enough to make the customer feel validated or valued. read more

Customers are allowed to be upset, you as workers and employees need to uphold Papa John's core values and professionalism. This store manager has absolutely ZERO PROFESSIONALISM and is very easily emotionally disregulated. Whatever man(probably the manager) who answered the phone needs to be written up or fired. People ARE allowed to curse at you actually, it's called freedom of speech. And you have to suck it up while at work because you represent Papa John's. Ordered the Shaq O Roni pizza - just cheese. Pizza came dry with no sauce. At first I ate a slice and watched a movie. Decided to grab another and it still tasted funny. I called the shop to request them to remake it, they said they could if I picked it up. Keep in mind I had ordered delivery originally paying the delivery fee and tipped the driver. At this point it's 10:45 at night. I'm not picking up a pizza at 11pm. I requested a refund for the pizza and they said no. Poor customer service and the manager is ridiculous. I understand that everywhere is short staffed. And I'm giving a few stars because we've ordered from here a few times and I always give a place a couple chances before I rate. But.. man. I ordered dinner at 519. Just wings and chicken poppers. Not a lot. It quoted me a 630 delivery. At 630 I hopped on to check the status and it showed order had been cancelled at 625, but it also showed "on the way" on th3 tracking bar. I called the store and was told "nope. Not cancelled. It'll be heading out soon" At 740 I called back because I needed to know if I should wait or just make food for my 3 yr old so she could go to bed. They told me "oh wow. I don't know what happened but I'll send this out now, or I can give you a credit. " I asked if they could remake it before sending it since it had been 2.5 hours and she said "eh. I have to ask" Wait really? You have to ASK if you can remake chicken after 3 hours of sitting there? Finally was told yes. They'd remake then bring it over. It's now 930. And I just now got this food. Cold as ice. Hard. Not at all worth even looking at. My dog wouldn't eat this. . I understand that maybe you're short staffed but this is ridiculous. 4 hours? We ordered the new Phili Cheese Steak Pizza and although the flavor was good there was very little to no meat (steak) on the pizza. There was a lot of cheese and Phili sauce however. Would have liked to be able to taste steak meat on the pizza. If you are just a lover of cheese then you would be okay with this pizza. However, if you enjoy being able to taste the meat in a Phili Cheese Steak then I would not recommend. Better off just buying a Phili Cheese Steak sub. I ordered a pizza to be delivered to my home tonight. I got the confirmation email at 6:39 pm est that the order has been received. I received a phone call at 7:11pm stating that they were out of spinach and would it be okay to leave the spinach off of my order, I had ordered the Shaq-a-Roni pizza (has no spinach) which I explained to the person and he proceeded to hang up on me with no "oh I'm so sorry or my bad" or anything just a click of the phone. My pizza tracker showed the pizza was delivered at 7:18 pm but there was no pizza at the door so I called the store #3148 and asked where the pizza was, I was told that I could cancel the order and re-order it if I wanted. Was told that the manager Danny said the pizza was on its way and that the tracker app was down. I sit here at 8:45 with no pizza. Lying pieces of crap. My husband called asked for the manager, manager refused to talk to him @ 7:49. So card was charged (I am so stupid I even left a good tip) I was lied to and to beat it all they tried to use COVID 19 as an excuse. I am a nurse and I can only imagine telling a dying patient that I am too damn busy to save their life because of COVID 19. I pray to get my money back. This store has no carry out specials which is truly what encourages patrons to order carry out. Most of their horrible ratings are due to cold delivery specials. If there's no difference in price, why order carry out. Yet delivery is listed as their second choice due to Corona however their commercials encourage carry out and touch free preparations. I called back because the price sounded steep for 3 pizzas. $15 bucks each. 2 one topping and one meat lovers. ‍ and the manager offered NO DISCOUNT whatsoever. I called at 11am and they said they were running slow so it'd be about an hour til delivery. I said that was perfect cause I need the pizza at noon. 12:00pm rolled by and still no pizza.
