Standard Papa Johns pizza. Store was clean for the most part, and food was hot in 15 min. Still on the pricy side without coupons.

At the time of my visit, it was open fairly late for walk up orders for those seeking a bite to eat later in the evening. Mobile order through the My Disney Experience (MDE) app was also available, but only up until an hour before the official closing time of the establishment. Seats were available for patrons to dine inside and right outside. However, since P and J is located on the Fort Wilderness Resort, there are several picnic/outdoor areas throughout the property for diners to take their food on the go to enjoy. Located on the end of the property that is closest to the Seven Seas Lagoon, P and J Southern Takeout can easily be accessed by resort/campground guests through the internal bus system, golf cart (there's parking right outside the establishment), or by walking (though it may be a long walk depending on where your lodging is situated). Guests not staying at Fort Wilderness could probably stop by P and J Southern Takeout, especially those coming from Magic Kingdom by the resort/campground's private boat. The drop off is a very short walk from the boat dock and no one was verifying whether one was a guest of Fort Wilderness or not. My hubby and I ordered dinner at P and J Southern Takeout to try the food on the resort, and it definitely didn't disappoint. We went for what seemed to be their specialized items - BBQ Ribs and Fried Chicken meal (though they do have much more on the menu that align with the typical WDW quick service offerings). For a quick service meal and for the price, our food was fantastic! This could have easily passed for some of the more expensive table service choices at the parks, specifically at Magic Kingdom. Both the ribs and chicken were tender and juicy. The fried chicken was crispy and not oily and the BBQ ribs coupled with the BBQ sauce were absolute perfection. The sides were overly generous in size. We tried the Mashed Potatoes with gravy (delicious!), Cowboy Beans (my favorite out of all of the sides we selected and complemented the rest of the meal perfectly), and Mac & Cheese. The cornbread was also phenomenal. It was my on the go breakfast for the next two days. We were happy to take our food back to our cabin and have leftovers to munch on throughout the rest of our stay. We ordered through mobile order on the MDE app and our order was promptly ready at the time specified. Cast Members at P and J Southern Takeout were friendly and welcoming. Overall good experience. We would definitely make it a point to dine with them again when on property (or visiting Magic Kingdom and looking for a break from the park).

The convenience that it is on the campgrounds is the benefit, and if your starving they have decent extended hours. If you have the app, it's most convenient to order online. Our first experience with breakfast was awful. The lady at the register was so sweet but their computer systems weren't working so the manager had to come out and reboot the register. They do have some seating inside, but it is limited due to Covid. The bounty breakfast is Served with Eggs, French Toast Sticks, Bacon, Sausage, Potato Barrels, and a Biscuit. The eggs were runny the bacon was extremely thin, the potato barrels were tater tots (can't mess those up) and the French toast sticks are doused in sugar. The next day, we gambled here for breakfast again (we didn't prep our camper for breakfast meals). This time we ordered the Mickey waffles that came with either sausage or bacon. This was a much better option, but unfortunately they placed our order in the wrong window and someone took our food so we had to re-wait again for our food ... frustrating. For a Disney restaurant they do not have it together.

The cheese burger was fresh and so delicious. The fries are yummy too. They have fry sauce that was ok. But I'm good with some ketchup. lol. Can't wait to go back. Wish one was in Tampa.

When I asked if the kids ice cream could come with no sprinkles the staff refused stating they were premade and if she couldn't have sprinkles there was chocolate. We also asked them to hold the ice cream until we were done our meal and although she said that was fine it still came out on our tray. The food was subpar at best (except the fries, those were great but honestly how do you mess up fries). The burgers were dry, very salty, and more burnt around the edges than a smash burger should be. If you're between Freddy's or Culver's, always choose Culver's.

Their slow cooked rotisserie chicken is SOOO GOOD!!! I've heard great things about their chicken fingers, but I keep going back for the rotisserie. Maybe one of these days I'll give 'em a try. My go to sides are mashed potatoes, black beans, and broccoli. Again, I want to try the rest, but I keep going back to what's familiar to me. Oh! The lemonade! So they have this spicy jalapeno lemonade, that I've found when mixed with their unsweetened tea is my new favorite drink. They also have beer and wine, and rumor has it, you can get your beer and wine discounted on rainy days! I'd honestly give this place six stars if that were an option. Yee Haw!

Once we arrived for pick up, we waited at the outdoor tables. The restaurant was somewhat busy but the team was working hard and very nice despite how busy they were. We purchased the family dinner for 4, which included chicken tenders, choice of rolls or chips and salsa, 3 sides, and a dessert. This also included 4 different dipping sauces. We waited quite a long time but everything was packaged correctly and conveniently. You get quite a lot of chicken but it's served in a large tray that can be stored in the fridge if you have leftovers. It definitely feeds 4 adults so if you are a family of 4 with young kids, this could easily feed you twice. Our side choices were green beans, white cheddar Mac n cheese, and seasoned french fries. The dessert choice was peach cobbler. This was a good meal - nothing fancy but the food tasted great. I would opt for the dinner in the future because of what a good deal it is.

The worthless guy at the drive through said "pull ahead I got you" so I wait and pull up he says "go park come inside" and closes the window. REALLY?! Your lazy a** couldn't hand me a simple bag through the window instead you opt to be rude. So I park go inside to the empty restaurant shocker all employees are hiding and the bag is sitting on the counter. Absolutely the worst service I have ever seen in not only Orlando, in general. I'd be embarrassed as hell to be associated with that joke of a location. Every time it is some kinda stupid issue with that place and its employees. The one working the drive through shouldn't even be employed the way he acted. Such a sue show circus that place is. It's honestly mind boggling how bad it really is. You flip a freaking burger patty for god sakes. This place should clean house of those ppl. I can't believe you even have 2 stars on here. Oh plus call to ask for a manager to complain and get nothing.

Curbside takeout works well here. This is a review of the new chicken sandwich…read more Since the world has been overtaken by a craze for crunchy spicy chicken sandwiches, I felt it was my duty to try them all and report back. Here are my results: Wendys now has a Spicy Jalapeño Popper Sandwich, and its ingredients are promising. Unlike the others, it contains real slices of jalapeños, crispy bacon, and cheddar cheese. In fact, all the ingredients were excellent except the chicken. My piece was extraordinarily tough and chewy. I would give it another try, but the bun and the chicken coating weren't all that exciting. 600 calories. McDonald's is the newest entrant in the spicy crispy chicken sandwich war, with their appropriately named Spicy Crispy Chicken Sandwich. This turned out to be quite a bit better than I was expecting. They actually went for the spicy, with an attention-getting pepper sauce. The chicken was very tender, if not exactly crispy in a deep fried chicken way, and the pickles were good. Unfortunately the choice of a potato roll that turns to mush as you eat the sandwich was a low point. This sandwich has the lowest calories of all that I tried, at 530. KFC: You'd think the original chicken take-out place would have chicken down pat, but this is not one of the better choices. KFC seems to keep changing their sandwich offerings, but they have yet to get it quite right. The Crispy Colonel was a flop, and the replacement I tried was just plain boring. On the bright side, it's probably lower in calories because it is small. Popeyes: The original line-around-the-block chicken sandwich is still the best. The buttermilk coating is crispier than the competitors, as are the pickles, and the spicy mayonnaise has a real kick to it. Also, the toasted brioche bun is sturdy enough that it doesn't disintegrate as you eat it. 690 calories. The winner: Popeyes, because it's actually crunchy and spicy, and on the best bun.
