After a few years, I decided to give this Papa Murphy's location a second chance and this time it's under new management. Yay! The staff is friendly and greeted me as I walked through the door. I always like to order the cowboy pizza and on Valentine's Day I have to get the heart pizza. Their salad you can get the pre made in the cold case or have them make it fresh to order. I love building my own salad. I bummed out they they no longer have the cheesy stuffed crust any more they made it the best. read more

It's been decades since I walked in a Papa Murphy's pizza place. It was raining yesterday and I decided to give it a try. I first looked up the local store near me, and saw the check-in bonus for cookie dough. "Cool", I think. I go there and order a 2-item pizza for $11.99. The first employee must've been new and looked blank. She asked another employee who said, "yes, it's the special". I asked also about the check in bonus and was told that no, they don't honor that there. Boo. Why have it on their Yelp page if they don't honor it? Then, the employee rang me up on the register for $21. What, what about the special? "Oops. Sorry, I forgot.". She redid the charge to reflect the special price. This store apparently skimps on training new employees. Be aware if you come here . Make sure you are charged correctly. I get the sense that some of them might be working their very first job here. I don't know how the manager Keenan keeps employees or customers with his rude attitude. Last time he was mad I added a seasoning after I paid for my original pizzas..some how the system froze and he was dang near screaming at me for not adding the seasoning to my first order blaming me for freezing the system. Then today I order my free birthday pizza online and happened to go in 10 mins early to see it was ready and he legit got loud with me asking why did I come in early?! Then proceeded to point at another customer waiting saying he was there early too and asked why do we keep doing this. Then he saw that is was a free pizza and seemed even more irritated. I knew in advance that I wanted to order a family size pepperoni pizza from here and pick it up at a particular time, so I ordered it online a few days prior and got to choose my pick-up date/time. There was an online coupon on their website for $3 off of a family size pizza, so that drove the price down. I chose to pay when I picked it up. When I came to pick up the pizza at my chosen date/time, it was ready to go and the employee rung me up. Quick and prompt service! I got the original crust pizza. The instructions say to bake it in the oven for 12-18 minutes, but I would recommend baking this pizza for 12 minutes max. I cooked it for 14 minutes and it was over-cooked. The pizza still tasted great though thank goodness, I'm just glad I didn't leave it in the oven for a minute longer. Very happy with how this pizza tasted, it was cheaper than other pizza places, and it was ready to eat quickly! I will order here again and I look forward to trying other pizzas that they offer. read more

I ordered a 2 topping large, it was a special for 10.99 and another pizza and a salad. Total was 35 dollars. When I arrived I found that one of the pizzas was made as a cheese only. When I asked about the toppings a nice young lady explained that some orders don't print the toppings just a generic pizza (cheese). She was off to add the toppings when the manager chastised her with very little regard for her feelings. I then explained to him that I ordered a two toppings pizza, he explained that he didn't care, and that they, I'm assuming the store, would have to pay for the toppings. I mentioned that I had already paid for the pizza and the toppings. Then he spoke very loudly to the same worker, in a manner which I found cruel, that he was going to have to pay for it without looking at me. I said I have already paid for it, he ignored me. I felt terrible for this experience, especially hers in particular. He would not speak to me,but rather speak to me through his chastising of her. I then told him, I would pay for the toppings again, but he would not look at me, so I spoke loudly with a smile to the worker. My opinion of his handling of this issue is that this manager, should speak to the customer, not the employee standing in front of the customer. Rather a cowardly move. I would also recommend this man treat his customers with respect, and further don't blame the employee for trying to help the customer or charge a customer twice for toppings. I tend to pick a pie up a couple times a month when I am too lazy to cook and don't feel like going out to eat. Depending on where my day finds me there are several locations I stop by. This one is by far the best. The staff is always friendly and the orders come out promptly. So prompt that I don't even bother to call ahead. Currently one of the ongoing promotions is $10 for any large on Tuesdays. It's a good sized large, much larger than many places were it seems medium is the new large. The have a loyalty card as well that once you get 12 stamps you get half off any one regularly priced menu item. One stamp for a large and two if you get the family size which is $2 - $3 additional. The pizza isn't the greatest compared to eating out at some other spots (at like 3x the price). I do like that they use high quality ingredients. I'm just not a fan of taking a cooked pie and putting in a cardboard box. For some reason I can always taste the cardboard (not a flavor I enjoy). For me it's as good as it gets for a fresh made out of the oven pizza. read more

The staff are all pretty young, but all really friendly. Can't really comment on the speed of it all, since that's kinda Papa Murphy's whole premise. So it's like any other. FOOD POISONING!! Went in last night and ordered a family size pizza for the fam and a Chicken ceaser salad for myself. About an hour or so after eating the salad I became violently ill. Needless to say, I spent most of the night in the bathroom and still today have severe cramps. I called the restaurant to inform them and spoke with a manager, Maria. When I explained what happened I was automatically told " No, our salads are fresh". I told Maria, that I understand this, but something was definitely wrong with the salad, I mentionedthat the salad label reads to enjoy by the 18th, yesterday was the 18th but that shouldn'tbe an issue. She replied " our salads are fresh". I explained that food being old isnt the only way to get sick from it- cross contamination, not being cooked well enough, poor handling...and that before the salad, I had only had breakfast which was several hours earlier.. Again I was told " our salads are fresh". I took my time to try to be courteous and inform them( even though I'm sick) so tha t they can take the necessary steps and instead I was totally dismissed. I just picked up a pizza for $20. And I used a gift card. On the register keypad you now have choices of tips., which they never had before. I hit 15% which in reality is $3 and did not look at the receipt before I left the store, my bad. When I got home I noticed I was charged $6 because the tip went in twice. The store knew it and didn't say anything. I am still a Papa Murphy's fan but it will be a long time before I go back to this location and leave any type of tip. Buyer beware. The pizza was good, apart from the fender bender we got into thanks to the rain and the other driver's carelessness. I was in no mood to cook thanks to the torrential downpours today. Therefore, I posed a question to the plus one: how about pizza for dinner? So, because he's good to me, we drove over and got a large Herb Mediterranean Chicken deLITE, subbing the feta and sun-dried tomatoes for mushrooms and tomatoes. it's Papa Murphy's take n bake. not sure what else to really say about it. If you want to make any adjustments to your order, make sure you speak clearly, though. There have been a few times when I asked for something extra, or something left out, that was missed. For some reason, fresh garlic seems to get missed a lot. My family and I order pizza here about once or twice a month. The convenience of calling to order and having my pizza ready in five minutes flat is amazing! If I walk in it takes the same amount of time. Staff is friendly and greets you as soon as you walk in the door. Sometimes their is a line, but they always seem to open the second register if their is more then three or four people in the line. This place, though a little on the small side, is just plain amazing all-round. I generally order from home, get my coupons ready and head on over. Living five minutes down the road is perfect because generally by the time I get there my order is up and all that's left to do is pay. Every time the employee's behind the counter have always been very polite and friendly with excellent customer service. Orders the chicken Mediterranean pizza. It comes with spinach. I specified over the phone, and the girl even double checked with me and I said everything on it. OK...I buy about a pizza a week from these guys. Imagine my surprise when I wanted to make an Indian pizza at home (butter chicken sauce, chicken, cojita cheese, peppers, cilantro) so I shopped at the store next door to get my ingredients then I went to Papa Murphy's to get a ball of dough. NOPE! They will not sell you a ball of dough. They offered to sell me an unmade pizza, but I would have to buy the toppings and all along with the pizza dough. I have worked in restaurants. I used to be a pizza chef in an upscale Italian restaurant. One of our CHEAPEST ingredients was dough. We used to slice it and make free bread sticks out of it. So anyway, the geniuses in charge have said locations can't sell only dough. You can still go to Papa Murphy's if you want. I will not. It is another business SO concerned with turning a quick buck that they can't take care of customers', loyal customers, needs. I'm tired of being a pawn of billionaires. Just tired. read more

always like papa murphy's pizza good ingredients, good value except.... whomever taught these kids how to put together a pizza did not do a very good job. I asked for extra sauce and the boy (name started with an M) slopped in on. some areas had sauce (in gobs) other areas had no sauce at all. Once he was done with the sauce, he threw the cheese on and rubbed it around in circles to even it out. I was mortified! I seriously considered saying something on the spot but based on the kid's sloppy way of preparing a pizza.... So if you don't mind a bunch of amateurs throwing a pizza together for you it's not bad, I prefer a little bit of thought and a little bit of effort to do a good job. I switched from Papa John's and it was the best change! The staff is always friendly (which is nice since it's not in the best neighborhood) but the employees keep the place clean, and usually have some sporting event on in the store. My family and I love this place, and always recommend it! Now, the pizza....YUM! Will never go back again to this location. Every time I go in to pick up my order you never know which register to go to. There is one in the front where the ready pizzas are stacked and another in the rear where you order. Sometimes there is a cashier at the front one, sometimes not. Anyway, I went in and waited by the front register where the pizza was. A clerk was taking an order at the back one. Waited about 3 minutes and no one even acknowledged my presence. Then another coustomer walked in and the clerk who had just finished taking the order looked up and called him over. I was ticked off. He never left the rear register, knew I was standing there and ignored me. I finally got to his register and said "Hey, I was here before that guy." His comment "Sorry bout that". Like he could have cared less. When customer service sucks either the help has a could care less attitude or the management is poor. I think that pizza rack is on wheels. Its a no-brainer. Papa Murphy's is generally good no matter where you go. The business model alone (good, cheap pizza that's ready when you want it) should garner at least 4 stars regardless of which location you visit. The thing that makes this location a 5 star is their SPEED! I've come in here when there are a dozen people milling around and I still get my pizza in 5 minutes or less. Props to the mgmt for always making sure the place is staffed with enough workers at the right times. read more
