The last year the quality and choices on the pizza has degraded severly. 80 % of my orders have not been as promised and required to be redone while I wait. The West Capitol Ave location was the best. They have lost their way upon moving to this location. I guess they are busy so they feel they can be rude to customers. Also they have a $3 upcharge for dairy free when most locations only charge $1. read more

We had such a great experience tonight! We've been coming here for years and have always enjoyed consistently excellent food and service. After swim lessons today, my son and I stopped by for a Mini Murphy, a salad, and a crustless pizza. He was hoping for a Hawaiian, which isn't normally on the menu -- but Rose, the owner, was there and happily made it happen for him. She even told him, "If they ever say no, just tell them Rose said yes!" She was incredibly kind and engaging with both of us, especially as my son was a bit hyper and hungry. She chatted with him and made us feel so welcome as she prepared our food. I shared with her how we had recently tried Marco's but weren't impressed -- Papa Murphy's just has so much more flavor. This location has always gotten my order correct and on time. I usually order on the app and just stop by to pickup. Staff is friendly and attentive they greet you upon entering and are ready to get you out the door. I did take off a star because they do tend to close early at times. There was one time, they called to ask if i could pick up my pizza earlier cus they were going to close early. But its usually later in the evening around 8. The guy who worked Sunday night Oct 25th around 7:30pm rushed me as I was trying to place a order, he did not end the phone call properly as well. He never said "thank you" just hung up in my face!! This place has been going downhill for some time now with customer service and closing early, but the pizza had been consistently pretty good. The last two times I've ordered the pizza has not been good. They seem to be using some new dough that doesn't taste very good and does not cook very well. The bottom of the pizza sticks to the paper cooking plate they give you and is a mess. Totally bummed. Posted hours, open till 9:00. Pulled up at 7:55 and double checked their door sign, yup, open till 9:00. After a few mins of wrestling with my wheelchair I got to the door just after 8:00 and was told, "actually, we're closed now." I understand most places have changed their hours due to COVID-19, but most have also hung signs at their entrance. Wrestling with my wheelchair for no reason only adds to the frustration. Gotta love papa Murphy's, I love there gluten pizzas and how they take all kinds of orders like online or phone ordering or just going in and make a order and they still get people in and out so fast and take real good care of the customers while making pizzas and they don't even mess up. I also need to say that they took really good care of me because I also have to get the gluten free pizza dough because I have celiac disease so they grab fresh toppings from the reach in and not from the display because of cross contamination problems and Ryan is the man for doing all that and more for actually caring about his customers even if they are being picky or just being assholes he still puts on a smile and gives me a warm welcome so having all that said I would definitely be coming back here because of employees like Ryan . read more

Both the manager and the other employees have always been helpful and very customer service orientated. I get the feeling that it's family owned and operated which gives it that awesome "mom and pop" feeling that seems to be disappearing in West Sac. Pizzas always come out consistent and delicious, not to mention their prices are very reasonable considering their dough is made fresh everyday as well as the prepared ingredients for the pizza toppings. I picked up the pizza and when I got home not one not two not three but all four of my pizzas were wrong. I ordered a Tucson chicken had no sausage. Usually this location is spot on with my order being made as requested and on time. I always order a club salad with no tomatoes and it has always been made without any problem. However, today I was told by the girl working that they can't make a salad because all the salads are prepackaged and made off site. I have always liked the idea and price can not be beat. But..... The dough and crust, while tasty is just too much.
