    Small Calzone

The food is a bit expensive but it's worth it because the sizes are HUGE, I got a small calzone and it was the size my arm. The service is great. Ambiance is very cool and chill.

This place is still my favorite pizza place in West Sacramento. We ordered the Hawaiian Pizza, Meat Pizza, BBQ Chicken Pizza, and Cheese Bread.

Spaghetti and meatballs with side garlic bread

Another West Sac discovery, this time a local pizza place that we've ordered from several times now for the office. First order was catering placed by the office manager which included a variety of pizzas, salad, and cookies. At that time I only tried the veggie and cheese pizzas (must have been a Lenten Friday) but they were tasty. Second order, I got a lunch special 8" Buffalo's Special pizza (green peppers, olives, onions, mushrooms, ham, pepperoni, sausage, extra cheese) which came with green salad and a can of soda which was a pretty good deal; my coworkers got the pasta (spaghetti and meatballs with side garlic bread), calzone and the pizza roll. Picked up this order. Most recent epic order included a 16" vegetarian, 16" chicken delight, 16" Buffalo's special, the 16" meat, lastly the ENORMOUS 26" cheese pizza which was the star of the show. We also got four orders of the lasagna which came with garlic bread, and four orders of green salad. This order was placed on Slice and the delivery went pretty smooth. The pastas were disguised inside a pizza box which fooled us at first, ha. Not to be confused with Buffalo Pizza & Ice Cream in Sacramento (both on DoorDash), Buffalo's Pizza West Sacramento is a good choice for pizza!

Sausage sub; could have had a bit more sausage and next time I will get the marinara on the side. Otherwise pretty tasty

Sausage sub could have definitely used more sausage, I added bell peppers and next time I will get the marinara on the side. Otherwise, the flavor was really tasty

California club sandwhich - missing the avocado =(

Buffalos pizza ~ Looking for some lasagna initially we yelped for a bit again. After seeing there pics the food portions looked huge and the menu was a bit old for what we found. So we found the "home on the range" were the buffalo roam. Easy spot to find, decent parking, not much inside for seating. There is a few spots. So looking over the menu we went with the California club sandwhich & sm meatball calzone. The California club - on wheat bread (sliced) with ham, turkey, sliced mozzarella, avocado, lettuce, tomato, mayo n mustard. With 2 pieces of pepperchini on the side. Well the sandwhich was decent, the mozzarella was a nice touch, good to see something you dont usually get at most places. They did forget to put the avocado on the sandwhich. Then we went with the meatball calzone. You do get upto 3 toppings for a calzone included. But i just wanted meatballs. The description of it says: thin pizza dough stuffed with ricotta cheese, herbs, mozzarella cheese. Garlic butter and parmesan cheese on top with 3 toppings of your choice with homeade marinada(marinara) sauce. The calzone in the end was real good, not what i expected intially but it worked out great. I thought it was going to have the marinara sauce inside but it wasn't. They serve it on the side. So i got my dip on and it was great. Had 2 slices left over and gave it the old 1-2 quick nuke and it held up great and still tasted tastyyy. Overall the price to portions is what gets them 4 stars. The sm calzone can easily feed 2 i can't imagine how big the large is. O-o. The sandwhich with a combo(drink with fries or salad is $7.99 , while the sandwhich wasn't packed neither was the price. This place reminds of pizza joints backeast. Quick and good food items and great prices.

Love this small local place. Crust is not too thick and not too thin, greasy but not too greasy, friendly staff.

Food is always legit. I love their ranch and house made marinara sauce, I always buy extra. I got a calzone, but scarfed it down pretty quickly. Here's a picture of their pizza roll :)

    Christian I.

This place has no business charging the prices they do for the pizza they produce. Almost 50 bucks for the extra large. Seriously?? Pizza is cheap food to make by nature. Flour and water, cheese and toppings. If I was WOWED by the flavor then that's a different story but I wasn't.

Large calzone! Missing ricotta but still so good.

I loved that the dough is made fresh daily and that the toppings were generous. I was greeted with a smile and the service was great.

The cheese pizza here is great; it's topped with dollops of ricotta and ribbons of fresh basil. They have a daily special: the Dino slice, which I'll often get as well. Sometimes the toppings are fun (e.g. pickles) and other times more run-of-the-mill (e.g. salami, bell peppers, etc) but I've never been disappointed even when I thought the flavors would be odd. They used to be pretty good about posting on Instagram what was on the Dino slice was, but I don't see it quite as often these days. If you're into saucing up your pizza, you can get ranch or hot honey or Dino sauce. It's been a while since I had the Dino sauce, but I recall it being tangy and cilantro-y with a bit of a spice kick. It sounds a bit different/odd, but I like getting it from time to time. The Dino eggs, from my recollection, are basically pizza dough balls. Mostly bread, which is fine since their bread/pizza crust is great, but I'd rather just stick to the pizza, so I only tried these once. The fries are good. Though, I probably wouldn't order them alongside the pizza unless you're looking for a carb bomb of a meal (which is what I had done the one time I ordered them). They're probably best if you're just looking for a snack to go with your beer & aren't planning on eating a whole bunch of pizza. They're quite good though. Nice and crispy. And it's a pretty big serving size. They have a dozen or so taps of various beers. Some local, some not. And they have a selection of cans and bottles as well. There isn't a ton of inside seating. A half dozen or so tables? And a few bar seats. There's probably more total seats in front and in the outside side patio. There's only street parking & there's lots of small shops nearby, so you might have to take a short walk from your car to get there.

The cheese pizza slice was only $4.40 - what a steal! I loved how incredibly thin the crust was without tasting burned. There was an audible crunch at every bite. Super cheesy and just perfect! The boys each had a Lap Cheong Square, which was $9.00, but incredibly filling and hefty. The hubs killed it per usual, but it was wayyy to big for the boy to eat by himself. I love how this pizza spot also has chicken wings. I like having the option of ordering other things besides pizza. However, 6 wings was at $15 is kinda pricey. At least it was good and tasty. This place also has anchovies! Can't wait to come back!

It's small inside with not a lot of seating but there are quite a few tables and chairs outside. It's counter service to order but they bring your food to you. Each of us tried a different slice-the classic, pepperoni and lap cheong. All were very tasty and I would definitely return to try something else. We also tried the PSB wedge salad which was not my cup of tea. It was very fresh but somewhat on the bland side and I like blue cheese a lot but whatever type they use was way too strong for me. Coke products get an A+ from me. IYKYK, LOL. Service was friendly and I love being able to support small businesses when I can. If you're in the neighborhood, I highly recommend giving them a try!
