We often choose to pick up pizzas at Papa Murphy's in Woodland WA. The concept is the best pizza choice for our Community Farm dinners. Fresh ingredients, not dried out from over cooking and we love that we can put the pizzas in the over, when everyone can make it to our farm house table for a meal, any time. False advertising. To save other people from ending up with something they didn't want, they do NOT offer **stuffed crust**. It does not exist at Papa Murphy's. They have a "stuffed pizza," which to most, would be a stuffed crust. On the website when it asks what kind of crust you want, stuffed is an option. What they don't tell you is only certain pizza companies hold the right to the stuffed crust patent. Instead, they give you a Calzon. They slap another full crust on top and twist the crust. There is no cheese in it. They claim it's "stuffed with other stuff..." Yeah, your pizza. But there is no stuffed cheese crust at Papa Murphy's; it's a Calzone. If you want stuffed crust, go to Pizza Hut; it's amazing & cheesy! read more

I love this place. They're friendly, affordable, and efficient and their gourmet veg pizza is just so good. The other night my daughter asked me what I would choose as my last meal if I was getting executed and no joke I said I'd choose that gourmet veg pizza. I ordered a couple pizzas online for pickup before the Seahawks game. They were better than frozen pizza from Safeway next door. The crust was a little thin but that might have been my fault. Both pizzas were good but nothing special. Ordering online was easy but wish there was an option to add extra cheese or extra items to the pizza. I ordered your standard $15 large pizza with double pineapple. Extra ingredients are $1.50 ea. so, double pineapple should have been $3.00 extra for a total of $18.00. When I asked why I was charged $19.50, she went to the register and entered the order again and told me, according to that register, the pizza plus 'extra pineapple' comes to $19.50 (before tax). After trying to explain $15 plus $3 equals $18 numerous times, I finally gave up. Never did get my $1.50 back. Several times we've ordered regular pizzas only to chew a gob of cheese endlessly as we tried to swallow it down. When we try to order half cheese it's a painful conversation that it means half the cheese you normally put on a pizza, not cheese on half the pizza! Today our order was a marinara sauce overload. Had to scape off the toppings followed by scraping off the excess marinara sauce to make edible. I really want to support small, local business but, we have tried over and over to make this be a good experience, it just hasn't happen. read more

Ordered a pizza online today. My husband picked it up. The order was wrong. In no way did the manager try to make it right. He said that they made it per the order. I am not a pizza lover. That is until we found the Woodland branch of Papa Murphy's. Not only is the pizza to die for, but the staff is always so attentive and kind. Even during the holidays when they were SO very busy. They still take the time to smile and suggest wonderful menu choices without pausing for a breath. If anyone thinks this passes as pizza their tastebuds are dead and they have never eaten the REAL THING. If any part of a pizza is most important it is the crust or what could be called the base of all pizza/focaccia. Toppings can rang from machine made in a factory to handmade carefully with fresh quality ingredients. The crust is absolutely the WORST, CRACKER CRUMB, TASTELESS product found anywhere on the planet. I am Italian and made pizza in a one-of-a-kind pizza house where we made or mixed EVERYTHING by hand. We made fresh dough every day. People traveled forty miles to purchase on or ten of our pies. The toppings on these pizzas at Papa Murphy's is at best mediocre. The tomato sauce must be out of can, the cheese from Kraft and the sausages off the shelf. But on top of being a tasteless pile of rubble the pizzas are, even when on special, overpriced and un baked. WINCO where one might think would be the last place to purchase a pizza is always $10.00 with every topping one could dream of. Topping that Papa Murphy's doesn't even offer. And at a top price of $10.00 it is hundreds of times more tasteful than Murphy's. They are handmade with fresh ingredients right in front of you. Not some frozen cracker crumb machine made dumped off a truck. So..... knock yourself out if you actually thing Murphy's stuff in edible. read more

Ordered by phone, walked in and there is big sign pick up here. Stood forever and was ignored by entire staff, finally went to order area after people helped that came in after me. Gave them name and price was higher that given on phone. When asked why they said price given was only for on line orders. I drove about 20 miles and basically was told to bad.
