Have been through oak tree millions of times , yet had not had a chance to taste desi pizzas at pachos. Conveniently located right at the heart of oak tree , next to Mughals restaurants . Parking is a bit tight here ! Very small place . Pizza size is good . 2 of them can eat one pizza . So much cheese , it's almost like a medium pizza . Had margarita pizza and it was good . We then ordered paneer tandoori tikka pizza and the flavor was awesome. Chilli paneer pizza was ok . Overall had an awesome time .. good food ... service was quick . Billing was quick too .. 4/5

Great for someone who is into fusion pizza. Unfortunately fusion pizza is not for me. Tried their cheese pizza, it was ok

Papa Pancho is like this little brother of Moghul Express. They are both (I guess) owned and operated by Moghul Express and have a common entrance. On one hand, Moghul Express serves Indian food while on the other, there's Papa Pancho serving delicious pizzas with an Indian twist. Let me start by saying that this place is overly crowded during the weekends, be it indoors or for takeouts and delivery. There was a huge line of cars waiting for their orders along with a similarly long queue of people waiting outside for their mobile orders and I was one of them. I had ordered a couple of pizzas online (Takeout) during a Friday evening and my experience waiting for my food was absolutely horrible. I waited for more than an hour and a half to get my pizzas. There was an endless line of people waiting outside for their food and with each passing minute, people just kept coming. The demand and popularity of this place was through the roof and I was taken aback just looking at everything. I had ordered a couple of pizzas, one Tandoori paneer Makhani and the other Schezwan chicken. The pizzas were amazing with great flavors. The paneer one was a little more flavorful and had that punch. Was the food worth the money? Yes. Was it delicious? Absolutely! Was the wait time worth it? NO. 1.5hrs for a couple of pizzas is not something I'm willing to try every other weekend or any weekend for that matter. The food is absolutely great but the management needs to do something about their pickup/ delivery process.

There used to be a wall separating the Indian eatery from the pizzeria/ice cream. Not anymore.

Pizza itself? 3 stars. It's unique! Everything else? 1 Star! Perhaps 0 for sanitation score. The pizza side has now been combined with the adjacent Indian eatery called moghul express. When you walk in they have signs up to tell you to pick up pizza on the left, yet there is no register there. Asinine set up. We ordered a tandoori chicken pizza for about $11. It was the second time here but frankly I was too lazy to Yelp the first visit. They quoted us 30 minutes on the phone, it was done in 10. Pizza is good, although crust was a bit thicker than the first time and was heavily dusted with cornmeal. There is no char, despite there being a flame oven. It's not any better than a dominos crust. What you pay for is the south Asian flavorful goodness: the "tandoori" chicken and whatever spices they use. A few peppers were on there too and a decent amount of cheese. It wasn't too greasy and 25 minute after eating, I'm not sick! Yet... That segues us to another part of Papa Pacho/Moghul express that was a step above disconcerting: the restroom. It was truly third world. From the urine all over the seat along with someone's attempt to cover it up with toilet paper, to the sink full of spittle and grime, to the watered down "soap." The fact that the kitchen "washes" their hands in this area is extremely bothersome. Yes it was busy at lunch time on a government holiday. But so what? There was plenty of staff around. With less watered down soap available at dollar tree and full strength soap costing not much more, there truly is no excuse for the lack of cleanliness here. Which is a shame because it's a well known place with a niche in a sea of south Asian places on Oak Tree Road.

Paneer pizza and Chile Corn Pizza

Paneer Makhani was really good! Chile corn was very spicy versus the paneer had lots of flavor. Crust was too dense and chewy. Delivery was mediocre, arrived cold and took over an hour. It was still good after re-heating.

Indian fusion pizza joint selling pizza, gelato, and some sandwiches. Unfortunately they don't sell by the slice but instead only make 12" pizzas to order (and those are relatively quick, about 10 minutes to bake). I wish I could try individual slices so that I could taste the different flavors, but at least you know that your pizza is freshly made and not sitting out on the display for a couple of hours. I've tried the SP2 - Tandoori Paneer Makhani (Tandoori Paneer, Red Onions, Jalapeno, Cilantro, Makhani Sauce, Cheese) and SP12 - Shaam Savera Pizza (Spinach, Green Pepper, Red Onions, Jalapeno, Paneer Bhurji, Masala Chef Sauce). Both were good flavors, but I thought the spices found on the pizza crust were a bit rough - they coated my mouth with a slightly gritty and "sandy" texture that wasn't as enjoyable. The spices aren't overwhelming, but it's enough where I had to lift up my pizza slice and question what that texture was underneath. Although this spot might not be my first choice for classic flavored pizzas, I'd be open to trying it again for their interesting Indian toppings.

One of the few places in NY/NJ that served Indian Pizzas. The service was outstanding and the staff is extremely warm. We had the Tandoori chicken and Shaam Savera Pizza and they were phenomenal. The pizza itself was of the highest quality but I expected more bang from the curry sauce. Overall a solid 9/10

    Garlic bread

Full of spicy buffalo sauce, cubed chicken and drizzled with creamy ranch dressing, the buffalo chicken pizza is delicious and delightful. Our other favorite is their spicy garlic bread that is unlike any other garlic bread in market- crisp and crunchy.

I must say, I didn't know what to expect when I heard that we were going to get Indian Pizza. I'm so glad we came here though because it was great! We started off with garlic bread. All I can say is YUMMMM. So cheesy and delicious. For pizzas, one of our friends ordered 3 different ones and unfortunately I can't tell you which they were, but all I know is they were soooo good. Not burnt, crust had the perfect amount of crisp, I also got the pistachio gelato afterwards and loved it. So if you want to try a different take on pizza with some great dessert after, this is a great option!

Summary: Awesome Indian style pizza with great service and decent ambience at very reasonable prices. Full Review: Recently visited the restaurant based on a friend's recommendation. Was really glad to have tried it and found it pretty unique serving Indian styled pizza. The pizzas served here a fusion of thin newyork style pizza and various Indian dishes. It is a pure vegetarian restaurant with decent ambience and really great pricing. Parking is available and can get crowded at evenings. Visited with a group and we ended up trying a few different pizzas here. Found the Bombay sandwich pizza the most unique, it's taste reminded me of the typical grilled sandwiches served on the streets of Mumbai. The Pav Bhaji pizza was tasty and flavorful served with actually Bhaji on the pizza base. We also tried the schezwan Paneer Tikka pizza which was great. The restaurant also serves a few tropical flavor ice-creams at the gelato counter. Loved the custard apple(sitaphal) icecream - a must try for dessert. Overall a must try restaurant on Oak tree road to try the unique Indian styled pizza and some great icecreams. Recommendations: Pizza: Bombay sandwich, Pav Bhaji Icecream: Custard apple (sitaphal), Chikkoo

It hasn't happened in a while, but my wife and I were mumbling a loud the entire visit how awesome our meal was! This place was bookmarked in my yelp over 3 years ago and were wondering why it took so long to try this place! Papa Pancho brings pizza to another level by mixing in fresh ingredients, Indian flavors and baking it in a flaming brick oven. My wife and I only tried one pie flavor, but we were hooked! A 12 inch pie for $9.99 is a steal! We spilt the tandoori chicken pizza and it was a perfect amount of food for us. The pizza came out piping hot with gooey cheese when the slices were separated. There were delicious tandoori chicken slices, makhani sauce, jalepeno peppers, onions and cilantro and those flavors were all in perfect harmony - all atop a thick crust with a crunch! It's so good, when I were oggling over how good it was, I occasionally dropped some pieces of food, and that didn't stop me from picking it back up and putting it back onto my slice! No food went wasted, including the crust, which normally I don't see the need to eat. The entire pizza was finished and we left highly satisfied! You can order another 12 inch pie and you'll get a third one for free! Alternatively you can get three pizza flavors in the family special (20x12) for $19.99. I'm definitely bringing my appetite next time to try different pizzas in addition to the tandoori chicken. Other notable items on the menu are masala fries, jalepeno garlic bread, and Gelato. Now the rating is mainly for the pizza as the decor is similar to that of an aging pizzeria with about half a dozen small tables. That would never stop me from coming here, though. The staff were friendly and they do pretty well from a takeout and delivery aspect. Parking is free as it's in a strip mall.

Do you crave for Indian pizzas and hate the soggy pizzas that you get in US? Do you crave for a chicku or fig flavored gelato? If your answer is yes to any of the above questions, you will not regret tour decision to eat at Papa Pancho.

'Margherita' Pizza.... Atleast its what they claim. I went to manager to inform him that this was in fact a CHEESE pizza.. He didn't agree

Over the years I have heard nothing but good from friends -- "Excellent" "Exactly like they make it in Florence!" "Best Italian food I've ever tasted." I went with a party of four. For appetizers we split the Polpo E Patate (grilled octopus & potatoes) and Patate Fritte (French fries). The octopus was amazing, tender almost like perfect scallops with a tasty pesto. The French fries with herbs, garlic bread crumbs and pesto were crunchy, tasty, delicious. For mains my companions had Branzino with eggplant carponata, an amazing 4-cheese Gnocchi, and swordfish. I tasted all, and all were spot on; everyone loved their main course. I had Linguini Vongole (clams and linguini); the clams were perfect - tender and tasty; but the star of the show was the homemade linguine, seasoned perfectly and cooked to al dente perfection. We finished with cappuccino and Tiramasu. The service was excellent. Attentive and quick, and our waitress, Merin, was able to answer every question about the menu with authority, and even about the ingredients and preparation. The ambiance is understated, relaxed, and what you hope for when enjoying a special meal. I am quite stingy in passing out 5-Star ratings; I reserve them for the best of the best, for restaurants where I'm confident readers will also enjoy an outstanding meal. Mangia Toscano is clearly 5-Star; it is *the* must-do restaurant in Metuchen.

But apparently Torino II has relaunched itself as "Terzo," which according to their website does "...classic Italian flavors and ingredients in a reimagined way, using farm fresh ingredients & homemade pasta." The menu now includes 7 appetizers, 2 salads, 7 pastas, 7 entrees and a few desserts. We were immediately told that two of the appetizers and two of the entrees were not available "today," so even less choices. Thing is, anything resembling the classic dishes in every Italian restaurant were absent from the menu. Ah, but then I spotted "Caesar Salad" -- but it was actually "Summer Kale Caesar Salad." Hey, there;s a time and a place for kale; that would be in a health food or vegan restaurant, not in my Caesar salad. But I figured, keep an open mind. We ordered two appetizers, Salmon & Shrimp Arancini and Wagyu Meatball Pomodoro -- both excellent. But the entrees, and this is the crux of the matter, varied from mediocre to poor. I ordered the Airline Chicken Parm, which was a giant portion of panko breaded chicken breast, with marinara and cheese, and a small pasta on the side. The homemade pasta was excellent, but the chicken -- tough as leather and tasteless. And sadly the other three in my party also felt the same about their entrees. Some were overcooked, others were tasteless. The bill, for a party of four (and we ordered no wine), excluding tip was $220. We did provide a 20% tip as the server was excellent, but the selection of menu items was poor, the food was mediocre at best, and cost was outrageous considering quality of the food. As I said, I hate to write this review, but Terzo leaves me with the challenge of now finding a new "go to" Italian restaurant in the area.

We were brought downstairs to a large room full of tables and were the only ones in there. We wondered if we'd insulted someone, or if one of us might be 'offensive', (no one was) but as it turns out, it was a 'Godsend'. We're all in our 70's and hearing/speaking can be challenging in a crowded/noisy dining room. We remained the only ones there for almost the entire 2 hours we were there and really enjoyed ourselves without having to yell or ask "WHAT!?" We shared a couple of salads (Greek and Arugula) and calamari, all very good. My wife had the seafood capellini and one sister the seafood fra diavolo, which they both enjoyed. My other sister had a seafood salad and my BIL went for the double cut pork chops, which he too enjoyed. I opted for the Halibut / risotto. Halibut is not an easy fish to make 'moist or juicy'. I make it at home and it comes out 'pretty good' (at least my wife says so) but here, this portion was fantastic! So light an flaky and tasty. Definitely give it a try if you enjoy Halibut. We all shared a couple of desserts... a home made carrot cake and a chocolate cake from 'outside'. Both good, but the carrot cake was served warm, which was a first for all of us... and it was terrific! Without a doubt the best carrot cake we'd ever had, so save a little room for their carrot cake if/when go.
