Love their single sliced pizza deal. Used to come to this place almost every Saturday after I worked out lol counter productive but worth it

We have ordered from here several times over the past three years- today being the last. Our orders were consistently late. We live 1.3 miles from the business. I get places get busy. I get they have drivers take certain routes. We are patient people. But today was unacceptable and the last straw. We want to support local businesses. We want to support these places, but I cannot stand paying for late, semi-warm food and cheese that has slipped all over the dough and ok tasting food. When we call to ask about orders, people are clueless on the phone and it takes over five minutes to get any type of response, most of the time they need more time to figure out what went wrong. Have you seen the size of this place? All they have to do is walk 15 steps to get to a manager. Today's 'excuse' was that they made the pizza wrong - more like, they forgot our order. Our food came in an hour and 30 minutes, when they promised it 'within the hour.' Sorry Papa Saverio's, I'm done with your ineptness. We choose to give another place a chance. read more

My wife and I already have our favorite place for thin crust pizza, but decided one night to try Papa's. We are very picky about our pizza and two things we do not like are those places that put the toppings under the cheese and they square cut a round pizza. Come on! They're called toppings for a reason and it's a lot easier eating a pie cut shape than a square shape. Strike two. It didn't look too promising. The flavor was average for a take out. So, we stayed with our other place. We also had been searching for a good deep dish pizza since Lou's sold out and it hadn't been the same since. Papa's was in our backyard, so we gave their deep dish a shot. WOW! This is what Lou's used to taste like. That was a couple of years ago and we still get their deep dish. And then we gave their thin crust another shot but requested the toppings on top and pie cut the pizza. Like day and night. What makes a great pizza are fresh toppings and that's what you get and you can taste them better when they are on top than under. However, tonight we had one of their thin crusts and something was different, very different. The top of the pizza was greasier than anything we've had before, but the biggest difference was there was no taste! Have they gone with a different supplier because of the economic times? We certainly hope not. Will their deep dish taste the same? We haven't decided whether we'll try their deep dish. Hopefully, this is an isolated incident. But if it isn't, then will their customers keep coming back? Time will tell. We'll let you know if we do or don't. read more

So Papa Saverio's welcomed us to the neighborhood by sending a coupon for a free pizza. When we placed our order we were very pleased to find not only was it for an extra large pizza but included choice of toppings as well. I didn't have any expectations other than the thought if they're giving coupons out for free pizza how good can it be. I must admit I was pleasantly surprised to say the least. We were very impressed with Papa Saverio's pizza. We tried their Chicago style with pepperoni and sausage. Both the sauce and sausage were very flavorful but I was overly impressed with the chunkiness of the sauce and taste. I was a little disappointed with the crust. I thought it was slightly doughy and not as flaky as I would prefer but all in all a very good pizza and I believe we will be returning. read more

Really good chicken wings. Just got the 10 piece spicy garlic chicken wings and it was off the chain. Very large size and got full after 4 wings. Also ordered the ranch fries and it didn't come out fresh. The fries were a bit hard and burned. The cheese was hardened probably because the delievery took more than an hour. I also had a sweet tooth and ordered a slice of chocolate chip cheesecake and it was really good. Totally worth getting the chicken wings again. read more

Just ordered the ranch fries and a pizza hot dog. Eh it was OK the ranch was bad was hoping it would be like a outback ranch and the hotdog tasted bland. Maybe next time we will try the pizza but overall not impressed. read more

if zero stars was an option i would have picked it... personally working in the food industry for almost 5 years now i usually give other restaurants a break when things don't go well.... i had ordered a pizza and apps, excited to try a new restaurant after seeing good reviews.... but the problem i had was actually receiving the food at a reasonable time. after a hour and 15 minutes after ordering i started wondering where my food was.. did the driver get lost..? is it super busy? then after another 15 minutes i had called in and was told by a girl on the phone "we're waiting on a driver"... you couldn't have called to give us a heads up you guys were running behind.. there's only so long the food will stay fresh in a hotbox before it dries out and gets old. & then when i called to talk to the manager she was very rude. i told her how everything wasn't good and we couldn't enjoy our meal... there wasn't even an apology just basically a 'what do you want'. i won't be going back nor recommending this place to others... poor customer service all the way around. read more

Delicious crispy fried chicken. The fried mushrooms were perfect. The onion rings were tasty, but could have been a smidge crispier. The ranch fries were great. Carryout is a marriage saver at my house. If I am going to do it....Thursday is the day, because it's the Lasagna day at Papa Saverio's. Its available every day but at a discount price on Thursdays.The company is closely related to the Rosati's chain and the food is the same great quality. The BEST lasagna in the northwest suburbs.....order with meat sauce and meatballs. The meatballs are virtually free on Thursday in comparison to the regular price. Comes with a salad and a piece of garlic bread. My husband and I are happy to share an order....although I like a little extra sauce on it. The only things I love as much are the Eggplant Parmigiana......although this location does not offer it. And the Big Chief--an Italian Beef sandwich...I ask for it on garlic bread with hot peppers...they bake it with a thick layer of mozzarella.....ooh its so good. I have been eating at Rosati's since their original location in Mount Prospect back when I was in High School. They are a block away now in a different location and they do still serve Eggplant at that location.. Any day.. plain is 8.49, 10.48 with sausage or meatballs. On Thursday price is 7.49 will include meatballs or sausage if you wish. Oh....I wish I wish I wish Mary Eschenbrenner Zentz, Forest View '72 p.s. some locations offer it plain or with meat sauce (that's gravy to the Italians). Rosati's has the same Lasagna Special on Thursdays. Prices may vary. Some locations do not offer free salad. They catered my daughters graduation on a sunday, and being last minite i ordered on friday and there were 0 problems with the order and follow through! I ordered stuffed shells, salad, garlic bread, and chicken marsala. The food was all great, and the crowd was wowed. I have to say i love their pizza, and their catering is just as good. The garlic bread was just shy of done and 5min in a 400 degree over made it perfectly hot for dinner. I recommend them for their food and quality of staff. read more

The pastas are all really watery. They are not drained enough. It is like they dumped the pasta right into the takeout container from the pot. The salad is salad out of a bag. The sauce seems to come out of a can. The last time I will be ordering from there again. Very disappointed. read more

Have visited Papa Saverios occasionally, usually frequenting another pizzeria. Have never had a bad experience here. Pizza is delicious. Usually order thin crust sausage but rheir b.o.s.s barbecue pizza is awesome. Also with each pizza ordered you get a coupon towards a half off pizza. My other pizzeria gives you one menu no matter how many pizzas you order. Will be frequenting Papas more often read more

Things didnt start out well when we got our order and found out they had run out of rootbeer. Me and my lady ordered the fried chicken meal and the tortellin and a side salad. The tortellini was pretty good as was the salad. The fried chicken was completely dry and I ended up throwing it out. The breadstick that came with it looked like a big wet noodle. Cole slaw was decent. Not sure about ordering there again. Definitely not the chicken. read more
