She tried to give us Diet, I told her no thank you. She was rude and closed the window in my face. She told me to call the Manager in tomorrow. The wings weren't good and the order was wrong. Doesn't look like much I on the outside and coming in carries the theme. The decor and furniture was old and dingy looking. The table was near a old glass bottle soda cooler-refrigerator that was used for storage of carry out boxes and I think I napkins. It wasn't neat or super clean looking. This place is amazing! We came in on a busy Friday night but only had about a 20 min wait. We ordered their delicious salad and let me tell you this salad is huge and plenty to share for a whole table. We also got the buffalo chicken pizza as well as the meat lovers. Both were delicious! This is a top of the mark family run Italian restaurant. The serving sizes are immense and the quality of the food is outstanding. You can split one of the salads between 3 or 4 people and it is always fresh. I usually start with an order of Rick's wings which are baked AND fried with a great spicy sauce. The cheese bread appetizer is delicious and again, huge but the pizza, they are fantastic. This restaurant started in Waterloo, expanded to 2 additional locations in Belleville and a 4th may be opening in Millstadt Illinois. A must try if you are over in Illinois or just make a trip over for lunch or dinner. This restaurant (E. Washington) has some cool history and there are rumors it is haunted. My favorite Italian place in the area. The location downtown is in a historic building with a spooky p as t, just read the menu. All the food is amazing and everything is supersized. 1 salad will literally feed 3 people. A friend and I always split a salad and appetizer and we both take home enough for another lunch for ourselves. The food is amazingly delicious. This charming little restaurant off the main drag in Belleville is your basic family-owned pizzeria. The food isn't going to blow your socks off, but it is definitely good. Their house salad dressing (like most local pizzerias) is incredible. They also have a few really good family meals deals for a great price. Such a good place to get an excellent pizza. The service is the only thing that keeps this place from getting a full five stars from me. And I don't think that's a reflection on the wait staff, rather they always seem to be incredibly busy. We always tend to have to wait for drinks. But, the pizza always comes to our table piping hot, and good, hot pizza is why we're there. Papa Vito's serves classic St. Louis style thin crust pizza. You really would be missing out if you didn't try the Buffalo Chicken pizza. Oh so delish. My youngest daughter likes thick crust (and so do I, for that matter), and they serve up a great "hand tossed" crust that she loves. My husband and I always share the house salad, which is more than enough for two people. Simply put, this is a great place for families and that's why we visit so often. read more

What a great spot. I went with a couple friends on a furniture shopping trip and ended up getting an extra large pizza, salad and breadsticks. The breadsticks are awesome. Thick and awesome. The salad is completely amazing as well. Not only does it have mushrooms and these awesome homemade croutons, but it's served with salami/pepperoni on it as well. You always win me over with meat on a salad. When the pizza came I was glad we ordered an extra large, as it is the St. Louis style thin crust. However, as I'm not a fan of the provel cheese most STL style lops on, it was great to have some good old fashioned thin crust with mozzarella. I loved it. Even better was the draft root beer and sweet tea for my friend from the south. She loved it! Also, when a mistake was made on our pizza, they actually let us keep the first pizza. Boxed it up for us and we took it home. Now that's what I call customer service. I also couldn't help jamming to the Lily Allen on the radio. Who plays Lily Allen in a restaurant? We had been trying to visit one of the locations for months, but always seemed to think of it/be in the area when they were closed. We finally made it and were not disappointed! House salad, deluxe pizza (on special for $11.99 for a large!) and a French dip were ordered. I could not believe how crazy loaded the pizza was with toppings! It was delicious and just a few slices and some salad filled me up. My only complaints are about the salad. First, if you get more than 2 (I think) items on the side, they charge you $1 per item. There is no reason for this, unless the salads are premixed, which would make me mad. Second, they put the dressing on the side---um, what? Why would you do this? Especially when the bowl it is served in is not at all conducive to tossing the dressing. I hate restaurants that make me construct my food; I would eat at home if I wanted to make it myself. read more

I ate at Papa Vito's this evening and ordered a pizza. I received a thin crust pizza instead of the hand-toss crust I prefer. The thin crust pizza was soggy and cut in small squares making it impossible to pickup. The server told me Papa Vito's is famous for thin crust pizza which I never heard before or seen advertising making that claim. Only 2 servers took your order, delivered it to the table and never followed up about the food or if you needed anything. This the second time in 2 months I ate at this restaurant and didn't have this experience the first time which is why I returned. Disappointed! read more

If you like thin crust pizza, this is your place. The pizza was very thin but surprisingly filling. Though...it could have been the beers as well, but either way I left full and happy. I loved that they allowed me to sample the draft beers I didn't recognized so I could pick out a beer I would enjoy. Got to Papa Vitos for our first visit on a Saturday afternoon around 530. It was moderately busy but I expect it to get busier later on because I saw they had live music every Friday and Saturday night starting at 7pm. Walked in to 2 girls at the counter who couldn't bother to finish their conversation and help us, then finally one of them lead us to our table. She went very quickly and threw the menus down and walked away before we even made it over there. The was very rude and clearly it was obvious there isn't much training given to employees. Not happy about that. The decor inside is dark, lots of hunter greens and burgundy colors, craploads of pictures on the walls and looked pretty clean considering the age of the building. Overlooking the fly i. The room, only because it didnt really bother us We ordered the special pizza of the month which was a cheeseburger pizza. It was a thin crust pizza with char around the edge, yum, and loaded up with beef crumble, bacon, lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, cheddar and provel cheese and thousand island dressing. They didn't skip on the toppings. We ended up taking half of our 14" pizza home, so we have enough for another meal. My husband said you can't judge a pizza place without trying their pepperoni and sausage pizza, so we may or may not be back to try that. They did offer a military discount(cops and firefighters too), 10%. Thank you for that. Their house dressing is like pouring sugar on your salad, once they brought me some ranch (for an additional charge) the salad was pretty good and the only thing that kept this from being a one star review. Strange to go to a pizza resturant that keeps the salt, pepper, cheese and red pepper shakers in the back so you have to ask for them. Between that and the dressing charge makes them come off as cheap and makes me wonder where else they cut corners. My husband liked the pizza at first but once he was no longer really hungry said it got worse with each bite. I did not like it at all. We tried the monster since it was on special the day we went.
