1hr bottomless mimosas in guava & orange

Food was good, cute place. Overall liked it, would go back maybe if it was in my neighborhood.

The cutest spot for breakfast in Gilroy. I love the drinks, and at first I was scared but the eggs Benedict with salmon was surprisingly delicious!

    Outdoor patio area.

First time here, ordered eggs Benedict Canadian bacon with hash browns and chicken and waffles with fried potatoes. Presentation is decent, food is a bit bland, nothing special. Atmosphere is clean and nice outdoor area. Service is decent. Not a fan;(

Food was delicious and we got our food so fast. I'm very happy with the customer service that they gave us. The place was very clean and has a nice outdoor seating. Highly recommended :)

Haven't dined in yet, but drove by and seen that Papas & Eggs replaced the Tacomania on 1st Street. I decided to doordash it this morning and it was OK. It was prepared fairly quickly, hence my order arrived pretty quick. I ordered the French toast with eggs and sausage, bacon Benedict with hash, and a side of grits for my LO. French toast (3/5) - came with butter, but did not come with syrup, which was a huge disappointment.... the sausage was OK. Bacon Benedict (2.5/5) - very salty! The side hash was OK, but the hollandaise sauce and bacon were both super salty. Grits (3/5) - nothing special, it's grits... baby was able to eat it just fine. I didn't think it was pricy as other reviewers mentioned. Seems to be average to me. Meh, first experience so far wasn't great. I may have to give it another try.

When they first opened they were amazing. So many details and standards have been lowered including the top two - service and food! Disappointed and unless I hear of some huge change back for the better, I'd rather go to Sandy's or OD's than here.

I was planning on going to a place down the road for Mother's Day but we got there and even though the restaurant was very empty, they said reservations only! So I had seen Papas & Eggs bright yellow sign on my way to the other place and thought I'd check that out instead. The parking lot was a little small but we found nearby street parking. We walked in and they did look packed with lots of indoor and outdoor seating, but we were seated pretty quickly. The menu had a really good selection of breakfast items (skipped looking at lunch because I wanted breakfast). I was tempted by one of the benedicts or a breakfast burrito, but I ended up getting the chorizo omelette which was delicious. My mom got the veggie omelette and she enjoyed that, along with a side of French toast. I think I'd try the mimosas next time I go, they looked really good.

Great spot! Overall, the food was pretty good. They have big servings. I ordered the chilaquiles and my husband had the breakfast burger. The service was friendly and fast. Also, the ambiance was great. Good atmosphere and the outside patio looks nice.

We started the trip with what I can say was a can't be beat resort stay here. We each had our own king rooms that honestly almost made me hate my own home. From the start of the stay pulling up to the security gate and getting greeted with so much energy and friendliness then being handed a rosemary bag to bring you into the mood. Immediately I knew I would love this place. The valets were great. The lobby staff were great. I was at the resort for two days and I swear I never touched a door to open. My room was ready early which was a bonus and the room. Again just great. Spacious. Ultra clean. All the amenities you could want. Fridge bar area. Fireplace. Sliding double doors to a private patio overlooking a fantastic golf course. Giant bathroom with separate soaking tub that was divine. I could review the golf all by itself. Super nice caddy Jack who it was a pleasure to spend the day working alongside and perfect weather because it can certainly get hot out there. We had a catered private lunch and then we had dinner in the bar area and everything was, you guess it, perfect. I will be back it's just a matter of when.

5-Star Review for OD's Kitchen in Gilroy I finally made it…read moreto OD's Kitchen in downtown Gilroy, and wow--what a fantastic spot for breakfast! This place lives up to all the hype as one of the best breakfast joints in the area, with huge portions, friendly service, and that cozy local vibe. I started with the chocolate cream drink (their rich, creamy hot chocolate or chocolate milk variation--whatever it exactly is, it's indulgent!). It was perfectly sweet without being overpowering, super smooth and velvety, topped just right. If you're a chocolate lover, this hits the spot and pairs amazingly with breakfast. Not too heavy, but definitely satisfying. For my main, I went with the famous Rosebud breakfast, and I can see why it's a favorite for so many people. It's a hearty, loaded plate with eggs, meats, potatoes, and all the classic fixings done exceptionally well. Everything was cooked perfectly--fluffy eggs, crispy edges where needed, and those fresh country potatoes were addictive. The portions are generous; I couldn't finish it all and definitely didn't need lunch afterward! The staff was quick, welcoming, and the place was buzzing with locals. If you're in Gilroy and craving a solid, no-fuss breakfast with standout items like the Rosebud and a great chocolate drink, OD's Kitchen is a must-visit. Highly recommend--I'll be back soon! 5/5 stars

I can say, without hesitation, that this was the second worst Chicken Fried Steak I've ever had in my life. The breading completely came off the steak. The steak was thin and WAY over cooked. It was tougher than shoe leather. I could barely cut it with the steak knife, and it gave my jaw a helluva workout trying to chew that thing. And the gravy was terrible. So thin, I could see the steak right through it. It looked like a glazed donut. That's how thin the gravy was. Then, I asked for EXTRA crispy hash browns. They weren't even regular crispy, let alone EXTRA crispy. The eggs and the English muffin were fine. It's hard to mess up those things. The service was fine, but the kitchen COMPLETELY dropped the ball. I drove all the way from Santa Clara, thinking about the great CFS they used to have. Wasting all that gas, for one of the worst breakfasts I've had in a long, long time. smh

Walking in the lady greets you and allows you to select your own seat. It isn't packed at all. The waitress is very kind.
