Food is fresh and delicious. Great atmosphere for lunch and quick service. Highly recommend the Gyoza and crispy rice.

Apparently this place just opened. We were able to make a reservation on OpenTable. We showed up an hour early and they were able to seat us. You can tell that they've opened recently and they're working out the kinks -- getting food to tables, not picking up the phone because the hostess is busy and running around -- but if you're not starving and you can be patient this is totally worth it! If you're sitting inside, def bring a sweater. It's nice and chilly! Food was DELICIOUS! The acevichado roll was out of this world. I think it's their take on a shrimp tempura roll but it was still light/citrusy at the same time. I could eat a million of these! Misuna roll was good. The avocado or veggies in it tasted a little under ripe but I'd order this again. Crispy Rice was my least favorite but still yummy! Wagyu Beef Bao Buns were pretty good. I wouldn't order them again unless I was in the mood for red meat while at a sushi spot. Paper Tuna roll was good if you really want tuna. I'd opt for a spicy tuna roll instead next time though. We ordered a hand roll that never came and we were there for an hour and a half. They took it off the bill no problem but I was looking forward to it. Overall the food was good, this is a great spot to go to grab drinks and sushi with friends, the vibe was great. I think this will be an awesome spot in 3 months once they've ironed out some of the kinks. read more

This is one of our favorite restaurants in Miami! Everything we ordered was amazing and the service was even better. Our waitress Maria made the perfect recommendations and was so attentive. So I was looking through a list of daily happy hour places in Brickell and came across this gem located in the heart of downtown Miami. Happy hour is served daily from 4-7pm. We made a reservation about 2 hours in advance to ensure we would get a table so we wouldn't miss a second of the happy hour specials. We started off with some margaritas that were very tasty and refreshing. Then we went with the pork & shrimp Gyozas. These are equivalent to dumplings and were nice and hot so I ate them before I could snap a photo of it. I'm not the biggest fan of sushi so I went with the California rolls. These were amazingggggg. It was a great introduction to sushi. The server was very helpful and friendly in helping make some selections that we would enjoy. The ambiance of the establishment is very unique and colorful. Incredible new restaurant! We loved it so much that we went two nights in a row! The Tiradito apassionado was our favorite. Salmon sashimi with a passionfruit sauce and crunchy philo strips. So good! Other standouts were the torched salmon and truffle oil nigiri and the wagyu gyoza. Happy hour menu is a great deal with both food and drinks. Lastly, service was top notch. Chavely and Melinda were both friendly, attentive and professional. The manager, Joyce, is the best and stopped by our table both nights to say hi and make sure we were as happy as we could be! I was there last night, The place was crowded, parking is an issue because the parking garage belonging a bank across the street is being gouge by someone who is charging $15 , I think the restaurant should validate parking considering the place was crowded, i've been hearing this place is popular now but in Miami everyone has their 15 minutes of fame and only very few places have been able to sustain it for more than one year , i've been in the city for 34 years and I know since I eat out every day, I hope this place does because it is nice inside the food is good the prices are fair... however the staff is always in a rush hurrying people out and not very pleasant nor friendly which it takes away from the experience, and That's the reason for the two missing starsThe girl who took care of us seem to not want it to be there and it was very curt bordering to rude, management need to train people to be more pleasant and professional. read more

Paperfish was the food stop to begin the night out. Upon entering, the mini Japanese "gate" was really cool and aesthetic. Inside the restaurant itself, it had the Miami vibes with the music and dim lighting. You could tell everyone eating there was dressed to impress. The music, for whatever reason, has some technical difficulties where it would stop and then start again but that wasn't a big deal or that noticeable if you were focused in a conversation. I ordered the crispy rice (2 salmon and 2 tuna) due to a friend's recommendation. It was really good. The best thing I had there. The salmon had a nice truffle addition to it and the tuna tastes fresh. The actual crispy rice could have been a little crispier but it was still delicious. The thai chicken fried rice was soooo salty. My brother ordered the same thing but with a different protein and he agreed that it was too salty that he even added a bit of water to dilute it and even then, he couldn't finish it. The decour was beautiful and chic. It took 20 minutes for a server to come to our table but he ended up being great. Flavors of the food were on point & the food came out super fast (honestly, suspiciously fast like within 3 minutes but no complaints there). I went on a date and had a great time... i had the Cucusaki which is a Gin/flower infused cocktail, not too sweet but really refreshing- loved it & would definitely try again... my date had a Saporo, and we got started with the hamachi tiradito, followed by the Salmon Crispy Rice- which had a nice touch of truffle. We also tried the Paper Roll and the Ebi Katsu Roll- both were good, but i had higher expectations.. this place is so hyped up, I was hoping for out of this world uniqueness, and my sushi experience was normal, just average.
