    Wow, where to even begin! I had my wedding here last month in March, but we've been signed and working with Paracel for almost a year prior. From the food, to the staff, to the beauty of the venue - everything was perfect. It's a family business and we primarily worked with Matt- he's the son of the owners and he's also their resident DJ/MC. He was absolutely incredible in working with us in great detail- in fact, he's the one who personally made a ginger syrup for the "His" drink that we decided on. He was always available to answer questions via text, and he was always willing to meet with us during the week to work on ideas/drinks/dancing/DJ setlist. Literally he always made SO much time for us!! Food: Amazing. If you've never been to a Vietnamese wedding, this is the way to go (note: neither I nor my husband are Vietnamese haha). To begin is an amazing Vietnamese charcuterie- salad, jellyfish, shrimp, eggs. All plated so beautifully. Next, fish soup, soooooo so so so tasty, my friend said it's one of the best she's ever had. Lobster tail on garlic noodles - I never knew lobster could have so much FLAVOR. Shaken beef, always good. Coconut shrimp, the crowd favorite. Thai basil fish, YUM. Ended with house fried rice and fruit!!!! It's the actually owner mom/wife who does the cooking and it's so so incredible. I wish I could come back just to eat without the rush of a wedding!! Drinks: Great cocktails, full bar and actually interesting drink combos you can create! Another venue we looked at only offered like fruit juice/soda + liquor, and that just wasn't for us. Our His drink was a ginger old fashioned, and Hers drink was a chartreuse + coconut cream + lime and pineapple. I loved it! Their open bar prices are insane. Literally couldn't be beat. DJ/MCing - Matt is the BEST. He keeps the energy up and is so energetic and fun. Everyone loved him. He's also an incredible DJ - he let my husband and father in law DJ as well, which is so kind and fun. And after he took the reins back, he turned our wedding into a total rave night - exactly as we wanted. Even if you're not having a wedding here, hire him independently!!! He's seriously the best man to work with. They also have a fog machine and sparklers! Venue - We did minimal decor because it's already so beautiful. They also recently refurbished so everything is looking great. The walls are lined with white cloth, there's lights that can be any color, the front entrance has a beautiful flower wall that says "Happily Ever after". You can by a gobo to have a projection on the dance floor - highly recommend. Overall, I had the perfect wedding and I would recommend Paracel and Matt for any event you could think of! I wish someone in my life would throw a party here so I could enjoy it as a guest haha.

    I had my wedding reception here last weekend, and let me tell you Paracel was everything I was looking for in a venue and more! Matt: Matt is reason enough to book Paracel! On the day of, he was the DJ/MC. He was SO great, so engaging, detail oriented, so fun throughout the whole evening! So many of our friends and family members told us unsolicited how great he was! We gave him free reign with our playlist only as a starting guide, and he kept the vibes going! Not only was he great on the day of, but throughout the entire planning process he was so helpful and nice. We didn't have a coordinator, so he helped us plan a lot of the event. He even accommodated us when we happened to be in town for a quick visit, to answer some questions and help us nail down our signature drinks (aka he made us some specialty cocktails to taste and we loved them!). Definitely go with the open bar :). At every step of the way, he expressed excitement for our big day, was responsive for any questions we had, and made sure we felt taken care of. We really appreciate you Matt!! Food: We got so many compliments on the food! of course as the wedding couple, we didn't get a chance to eat much that night, but several of our guests did tell us how good it was. The few dishes we got to eat seemed to be even better than it was during the tasting! Also I love that they provide guests to go boxes so that the food doesn't go to waste. Our family and friends are still joking about how full they are from the wedding :P. Venue: they recently redid the outside of the building, and it looks really nice! Also the inside already looked so nice that we didn't feel like we needed much other decor. The day o,f they even had a beautiful flower wall at the entrance with a neon sign that said "happily ever after" which was such a pleasant surprise! this is family run business so they're willing to work with you and accommodate your needs. This meant we got to do really fun stuff like beer pong for one of our wedding games :). Also they were able to accommodate a next day clean up of our decor, so we could go out and party after and didn't need to worry about it that night. Staff: every interaction we had with the staff was so welcoming. They were all so nice, from the tasting, to the pre visit, day of wedding, and even on the day we came to clean up! A few of our friends also complimented the bartender for his mixology skills! Proximity to park & great food: It's so close to Mile Square Park which was a nice park for our pre-wedding photos. Also it's really close to Brodards and other great food options for appetizers or just other meals outside of the wedding. Overall, we had a great wedding and felt that it was such a great value for what we paid for. I highly recommend Paracel to anyone looking for a wedding venue!

    This is a very long overdue review. Paracel catered our wedding several years and I realized that I forgot to submit our Yelp review! We had their multiple courses Chinese/Vietnamese style banquet catering at our venue (Riverside Art Museum), in which they cooked on site, which is definitely not an easy task! The food was fresh and came out delicious. We got many compliments on the food! As the bride, I did not get to eat much at our wedding but they did pack us food from each of the courses to enjoy after the wedding. They also provided takeout boxes so guests could take leftovers home. Overall, we would highly recommend Paracel to anyone looking to have a multiple courses Asian style meal at their event!     Went for a friend wedding last weekend. The venue and ambience of the place was really nice. The bathrooms were clean. The food tasted OK. It wasn't too bad but I've had better one bad thing that I didn't like was that the servers kept coming and clearing up the table when we barely ate the foodwe had to tell them multiple times to leave the dishes

    Came here for a company holiday party! The venue is great for your traditional multi course Chinese/Vietnamese reception services! The company that hosted opted for a cash bar, but the service was quick and owners work there and operate it like a well oiled small business! We had a lot of food options on the menu (crab egg soup, honey walnut shrimp, lobster noodles, fried chicken, and more), but my top dishes were easily the lobster noodles and honey walnut shrimp! I'd highly recommend this place if you're ever looking to do a wedding reception or holiday party!

Their kindness, professionalism, and warmth made a difficult time so much easier, and I am beyond grateful for the experience. The venue itself is stunning, elegant, light, airy, and uplifting, which was exactly what we wanted for this occasion. The room's clean, timeless aesthetic required little decoration, yet it felt warm and intimate. The table spacing was perfect, offering both comfort and closeness for our guests. The accommodations were top-notch. The team provided a large screen and laptop for our video montage, a cable to play personal music through the in-house speaker system, as well as a microphone and podium. They even supplied an easel for our loved one's portrait and an additional table for photographs, ensuring that every personal touch was seamlessly integrated. The linen selection was extensive, but we opted for classic all-white linens, which complemented the elegant setting beautifully. The service was impeccable. Ana and Bryana were not only responsive, professional, and incredibly accommodating, but also genuinely kind and authentic, a quality that extended to the entire staff. They ensured that everything ran smoothly, and their attention to detail did not go unnoticed. The water and tea pitchers were always full, plates were cleared discreetly, and the overall hospitality was second to none. The food was exceptional, our guests couldn't stop raving about it! While everything was incredibly delicious, the Waldorf salad, fresh vegetables, warm rolls, chicken and cookies were particular standouts. It's almost impossible to find a meal of this caliber for just $30 per person, making it not only a beautiful event but an outstanding value. Logistics were effortless. The club's entrance was easily accessible, parking was a breeze, and the staff even allowed me early access to set up table centerpieces and our photograph table. Set-up and breakdown were seamless, handled efficiently and professionally. If I had to describe this experience in one word: EXCEPTIONAL! The level of care, service, and quality provided by Mile Square Golf Course exceeded every expectation. I am so grateful to have chosen them for this special event and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a truly elegant, stress-free, and beautifully executed gathering.

Upon arrival, I was shocked by how overcrowded the restaurant was; there were about 65 tables crammed inside the venue, far beyond what felt safe or comfortable. My husband uses a wheelchair, and he could not get through because the aisles were essentially nonexistent. All the tables were placed right next to each other with no setback or space to move. During dinner, if anyone wanted to go to the restroom or simply step away, they could not leave their seat because the chairs were packed tightly against the people behind them. Once you sat down, you were literally stuck until the event was over. This setup felt unsafe, inconsiderate, and completely disrespectful to guests--especially those with disabilities. It appeared that both the restaurant and the concert organizers prioritized packing in as many tables (and as much profit) as possible, with no regard for customer safety, accessibility, or basic comfort. I will never return to this restaurant or attend another Khanh Ha concert. If you want others to treat you well, please remember the "Golden Rule": treat others as you would want to be treated yourself!

My fiancée & I needed an ideal venue where we could get married and have everything all-inclusive (ceremony & reception) within Orange County, in one location. We came across Serendipity The Venue in Fountain Valley and saw the great reviews so we made an appointment to meet with the owner, Brad Ho in February 2025. From the moment we walked in, right away we saw the place was classy, beautifully decorated, and very large to easily host the 160+ guests we were inviting. I wanted to secure March 14, 2026 so I readily gave a deposit to ensure we had our date booked! We selected their top wedding package, The Serendipity Package and chose with the Asian 8-course dinner. What is fantastic about this package, it also includes two photoshoots. We did an engagement photoshoot in July (which turned out beautifully) and had the wedding photos the day of the wedding (both in a nearby park with the wedding party and in the venue during the ceremony and reception). So we also got the wedding photographers with our package, one less thing we needed to arrange! And they were pros, we're very impressed with how the pictures and videos turned out and captured the moment. We also appreciated they provided us a wedding coordinator (Maria) that works for them, and she ensured every detail came together as planned! We kept in touch with her regularly in the months leading up to our big day. The day of the wedding, March 14th, we were impressed by how they have a coordinated team that ensures everything flows smoothly! They had valet, professionally-dressed security, servers, bartenders, DJ, the photographers. For the reception the food was incredible, and the DJ, "DJ Charly" was engaging and made it a fun night! We're grateful to Brad, Carolina, and Maria for having this all come together. We wanted to take as much of the guesswork out of planning, so this was the ideal venue for us. We did not have to search for an additional ceremony space, DJ, photographer, videographer, caterers, bartenders, and catering service because those services were all included. Not to mention, security, valet, and a dedicated coordinator! We had a couple of special requests such as print-out welcome photos for our guests, two outside food vendors for our late-night snack, and a dedicated table for an outside silhouette artist we hired, all of which were accommodated with ease. I was even able to make a custom photo-booth print and bar signage, and was so excited to see them on display on the wedding day! We received so much positive feedback about our wedding from guests. Lots of compliments about the food (we went with Paracel catering), the music (shout out to DJ Kido who really understood the vibes we were going for), the photography (which we received very quickly by wedding photography standards), and the venue itself. Brad did a great job emceeing for us, and kept the schedule flowing while also bringing positive energy. And when told the security was not there NOR inside she proceeded to tell me to check like 3x when I have multiple witnesses SEE him finally WALK UP to the door from OUTSIDE (next door) to unlock the door we needed to enter. & even the night before I was the one whom reached out to see how to go about getting the keys or if someone opening the door cos I didn't know how that worked. Me. I reached out instead of just making me aware - "hey things are good to go for your event someone will meet you tomorrow at this time blah blah" just example. Maybe im being bratty but that was pretty much the only thing that annoyed & stressed me out for my son's FIRST BDAY. Overall poor communication & business on her end. I had to ignore her afterwards to enjoy my party. & a lot of my guest liked this place as well and are considering this space. Again, I WOULD rent this space again. There's a lot to like. I just won't be going through this one person again & maybe book directly through the owner instead or one of his other people under him.

From the moment we arrived, he made us feel incredibly welcome. He walked us through the grounds with such warmth and care, and it was clear how much he enjoys meeting people and helping them feel at home. He's polite, kind, and truly a blessing to work with. The grounds themselves are beautiful--well-kept, spacious, and full of charm. All of our guests had nothing but positive things to say. The wedding under the stars, surrounded by the soft glow of the Huntington Beach lights, created a magical atmosphere we'll never forget. We feel so grateful to have rented this place. While it is a good option for a smaller wedding, I don't see it being a good fit for a larger wedding. They offer a barn with a smaller capacity (50-60 people I believe) and up to 200 people on the lawn. For a wedding ceremony, there's a gazebo. Parking is limited at the actual Newland barn site. However, parking is offered at the shopping center as an alternative.
