The portion of the food is large enough for two. We ordered too much for date night. The service is fine.

Paradisio is a limited seating restaurant with a menu that cannot be imagined in a small rural community. I made reservations for our anniversary and pre ordered a Beef Wellington for two. I appreciate an establishment that lets you order off menu. The Chef Michael was accommodating and asked what time we wanted the meal on the table. My reservation was 6:30 and after wine and appetizers I told him 7:00. When we arrived we were greeted immediately and the Hostess/Server took us to our table and took our drink and appetizer order. Our drinks hand appetizer came out quickly considering the restaurant was busy and she was the only person on the floor. Our table was cleared and our Wellingtons were on the table within minutes after 7. What a perfect example of a Wellington! The filet was roasted perfectly and the pastry was crusty and flavorful with the mushrooms and bacon roasted inside. The Jus' reduction was just tasty! In my opinion this was the best meal I've eaten in our town. This is a Beer and Wine establishment with a significant wine list. Thank you for a great Anniversary dinner.

    We closed the restaurant!

Amazing evening - excellent upscale menu - flavors & presentation and wine & beer selection perfection! I would highly recommend this restaurant to all in Redding - Chef is so talented; and his wife and service was excellent. I can't wait to go back.

We had just taken our daughter to a water park so we were dressed rather casual. Albeit very casual and partially wet front the water we were greeted immediately and seated outside. I love Al fresco dining which they offer with misters on their outside patio. Our little one got to run around while we waited on our order. The craft root beer and burgers were top notch. I ordered the GOAT burger with arugula and bacon jam. It did not disappoint. My husband got the widow which was also quite delectable. Both burgers were cooked perfectly and the flavors complemented each other. Little notes of arugula, salty bacon, sweet jam, goat cheese, beef combined with a buttery fluffy bun made it a masterpiece. I upgraded to the duck fat and Parmesan fries. These are must try. Better than any fries I've had in NYC, SoCal Italy Germany or anywhere. Their fries were hand cut, the herbs and Parmesan were so fresh and drizzled with duck fat oil just sent them over the top. My husband upgraded to the cheese curds which were perfect as well. Their house ranch was also great and I'm a ranch snob. We were hungry and were served quickly with a smile. Our server or manager was on top of everything but not smothering. We will be back soon, this is a must try! Kid friendly but also a place you could come dressed to impress and enjoy as well. Thank you!

Sounds like a vacation to me!

We chose Woody's because our little one wanted mac 'n cheese and they have some of the best in town! I cannot rave enough about the restaurant and how well they handled the party. The booking process was easy and completed via e-mail. This aspect was handy as I didn't have to leave the house or make a phone call on a busy day. The gentleman I spoke to answered all of my questions during the booking process. On the day of the party, we showed up a few minutes early to put up some decorations. A waitress and waiter came and greeted us right away. The owner even came by, promptly, and introduced himself to me. The kindess and professionalism was outstanding. Our waitress (I wish I remembered her name! I feel terribly that I can't provide it.) did an outstanding job! We were a big group of people and she took all of our orders, answered questions, and helped us with anything we needed. I hope it can be determined who worked that day so she can be given her kudos as she was lovely! Lastly, the kitchen staff did a great job getting our food out in a timely manner. I was impressed by their speed and the food was delicious. As the restaurant was busy, we didn't have a chance to say thank you one final time before we left. So, thank you again, Woody's! You guys made the party enjoyable and easy for us. We felt we could take a step back and enjoy our daughter's day! :)

Or maybe they were the peppers/onions that go on the cheesesteak? We did a DoorDash for a work group and with all fees it was a $30 sandwich (menu price $23) but I trashed after 3 bites. I tried, because I do not like to waste, but I couldn't stomach that combo. The side salad was actually great so I ate that, but essentially, $30 for a side salad is no bueno.

This spot checks all the boxes for a perfect end to the week. We went on a Friday evening, the weather was beautiful, and the atmosphere made everything feel extra cozy. Inside, we ordered a flight of beers and tried several: Berry Madness, The Mexican Lager, Mr. French (my absolute favorite, a milk stout with coconut, cacao, and caramel notes that was so smooth and delicious), The Fuzzy Peach, and Gold Tooth. Each one had its own unique character, but Mr. French really stood out for me. It's dog friendly (bonus points!), and I loved seeing pups hanging out around the yard. They also bring in food trucks, which is such a cool touch, you can grab your food outside and enjoy it inside or in the yard. The location is perfect too. We walked there from where we were staying, and it's close enough to downtown that you can keep the night going if you want to grab something else after. The parking lot is large as well if you're driving. Customer service was great, the bartender was friendly and helpful. We ended up hanging out in their outdoor dirt yard with twinkle lights, which made it feel warm, laid-back, and inviting. However, I was extremely disappointed with my entrée. I ordered the chicken Marsala and it was so bland I was actually shocked. How could nothing on the plate have any flavor? I saw so many reviews raving about the chicken Marsala. Maybe they got a new cook because the sauce was basically just heavy cream didn't look anything like other pictures people posted. My husband got the spaghetti and meatballs. The meatballs were very good and had lots of flavor but the marinara was also quite bland and the garlic bread was a joke. It was toasted bread with a smidge of butter, no garlic whatsoever. I will not go back for the price. Definitely not worth it.
