    Breakfast burrito and tater tots

Been here twice since I realized they had opened this new spot at the old Cafe Flora that closed. The he short rib breakfast burrito with tater tots was so good. I'll be back.

I wish them luck, but the coffee has to improve. The cappuccino I had was weak and practically tasteless. Much better options nearby.

Food sorely lacking. Unoriginal, bland, and overcooked. Insulting prices for the quality. Great location and decent drinks from the bar.

Matcha was strong; I definitely felt the jitters while I was sitting at the bar lol. The galbi patty melt was unique; first time eating a burger in a croissant HAHA. Didn't get much of a "galbi" taste, but still good! My neighbors had gotten the kimchi fried rice, spicy noodle salad, and popcorn chicken, all of which were my next options, but I didn't have that much stomach space. They all looked and smelled really good so I'll have to try them some other time. The vibes and layout of the space are super cool! An awesome feature is artwork from Asian American artists throughout the space for sale, and all proceeds go to the artists directly. Service can be a little confusing since you order at your seat via QR code, and water/drink adjustments are self-service. But you'll figure it out!

Ordered hot matcha with oat ( only regular milk is other option) and Yuju perilla espresso tonic. And my husband is a Starbucks die hard and he LOVE the tonic! . Excellent service and ambiance. Next time dine in and try the food menu too!

After I ordered, I took a seat in the waiting area by the Togo window to wait for my order. There was plenty of tables for dining in, but they were filled so I grabbed my order to eat outside. There was a little area in the front of the store for you to eat at. Stonemill matcha has been on my radar for a long time now and I'm happy to say I was not disappointed. I ordered the matchazuke 4.5/5 and the matcha latte 4/5 and they were both delicious. The matchazuke was perfectly savory, each bite packed full of umami. The piece of salmon was seasoned nicely, not too salty and paired perfectly with the matcha. The matcha broth was so comforting, you could taste the bonito dashi they used to make it. I was worried the portion would be too small but it was pretty filling! The matcha latte had a beautiful deep green color and was creamy and not too sweet. I did noticed that it was a little grainy, which was the only thing I didnt like about this experience. My partner ordered a hojicha latte and said it was a 5/5 and it's her new favorite place to get hojicha latte in SF. I would definitely come back and try more of their menu. I'm eyeing that matcha silk pie!

The pork was nicely cooked. The fish katsu sandos were good, but did not compare to the pork katsu ones in terms of flavor and wow factor. Of course had to get a drink while here! I tried the hojicha with strawberry. The strawberry paired nicely with the hojicha without overpowering it. The hojicha was nutty and earthy. There is a line to order for takeout in the restaurant and pick up is outside through a window.

We did not get any drinks this time, but I have previously gotten matcha from here and it was really good. Fish Katsu sando (5/5): SO GOOD. I was so surprised! The fish was flaky on the inside, crunchy on the outside. They added a good amount of veggies into it too. The sauce on the inside also paired really nice with the fish. Fried chicken sando (5/5): Also super good! The fried chicken was juicy! It also came with a cabbage coleslaw. Strawberries and creme sando (5/5): the cream to strawberry ratio was really good. Strawberry was big and juicy and very sweet. Cream tasted so good, like it was made fresh.

The ebi shrimp katsu sando and chicken karaage sando were both satisfying, and the peach cream sando was a nice sweet treat to end with. The pistachio matcha latte was also a yummy drink!
