The lovely sleeve for the macarons
    Lydia S.

What a treat!! I was curious about the macarons and went inside. It's a cute little eatery! I could have ordered anything and everything- it all looked so good. When I asked about the macarons, the gentleman offered me one to taste! Wow! What amazing kindness and service! Of course I was sold. They are hand made and so so flavorful! I bought a dozen. It's packaged in a lovely sleeve. Next time, I will have to try the little cakes. Coronado is one of our favorite places. I look forward to coming back.

Cute little cafe spot. I got a *checks menu* mango dragonfruit energy ice sparkling tea and found it to be dangerously tasty. I got a single Oreo macaron, and it was also a delight. The texture was that perfect macaron initial slight crisp with a soft and slightly chewy interior. I was a bit hesitant about how the croissant sandwich looked. Basically, I was like, "this is not a croissant." But after the first bite, I was like, "Okay fine, I guess it's kind of a croissant." And the flavor was great of course.

We were craving something sweet but didn't know what was in the area. I found this spot on Yelp and we decided to give it a try. Parking was easy because it was in a shopping plaza. We walked around the numerous shops to find this spot but it wasn't hard to find at all. Inside isn't that big but they have a counter area you can sit it. They also had a few tables outside. They had a carrier y of pastries, all of which looked delicious. I chose the most chocolate looking dessert along with a matcha latte. Once we got our order, we went outside and chose a seat. The chocolate cake was delicious, rich and decadent. The matcha was ok, nothing to rave about but it hit the spot on a cold evening. Overall we enjoyed ourselves.

The place is super cute!! We grab brunch here and the food was really good. My only complaint was that it took a reallllllyyyyy lonnnnggggg time for us to get our three sandwiches. There was only one person that was ahead of us and no line behind us. Not sure what the hold up was. Staff were really friendly and did apologize for the long wait. Just glad they acknowledged that they took a long time.

We ordered two sandwiches one with an egg protein, cheese sauce with a soft bread and also a turkey sourdough bread. The sandwiches were delicious both in comparison preferably the turkey with lettuce Combo was delicious & fresh versus the egg with a soft bread and cheese combo was saucy and delicious. The staff were nice and helped with recommendations for the comparison of the sandwiches. They had a variety of other sweets and coffees, although did not order any. Gave four stars because they were lacking in sides- chips, etc. nothing available although there was a side salad to order. I would recommend this little French parfait Paris as a place to try for lunch with plenty of tables to sit.

There was a bug in my drink . Plus the matcha was horrible I had to throw it away ! Such a waste of money .

The crème brûlée latte at Parfait Paris was the perfect pair with the amazing view of San Diego on Coronado Island. This latte was on the sweeter side, but that was to be expected. The temperature was served at the right temperature and the staff were very friendly. Plenty of seating located outside and this location is perfect for your coffee to go and enjoy all the beautiful views of San Diego while you take a walk.

They had this fantastic seasonal lavender latte available and it was delicious. Great interior, service, & coffee. Next time I come here, I'll need to try out their pastries.

A little hidden pastry gem with very nice service next to some of the best views of the city. The "Mango Bliss" pastry was surprisingly very delicious and nicely layered. The hard caramelized top like a crème brûlée was a nice touch too. A lot of hype around these type of pastries and this one delivered. Definitely coming back next time I'm in town.

Located on 1st Street in Coronado Island, Parfait Paris is an award winning French Bakery specializing in handcrafted desserts, macarons, and pastries - all made from scratch. We came to this bakery during our trip to Coronado Island. This is a small but nicely decorated shop with limited seating. We ordered Crème Brûlée and Crepe Nutella. The service was quick, and our food arrived almost immediately. However, the food tasted fairly average and it was overpriced. Our overall experience was average, and we have no plan to return.

Cute little cafe by the Coronado ferry area. Great selection of baked goods and hot food. Their chipotle chicken galette was a hit, savory crepe with perfect amount of chicken and greens and light and airy crepe. Their alsacien croissant was also delicious. Their Sicilian latte (pistachio) was soooo good, I tried it hot. The staff, Lou and Lili, were very kind, fast and helpful! Will be back to try more of their other treats!

    Yuzu & Lemon Tart

I was about to say that no tart should cost $13 but then I started eating it and tasted an explosion of flavor. Halfway in, I realized this is a larger task than I originally thought and while I still think the price is absurd, I realize I'm also not accustomed to SD prices and will instead just give this place the 5 stars it deserves and leave it be. The staff are all super friendly and I was especially touched by how respectful they were towards customers that spoke languages other than English. There is limited bar seating inside and free water, but there are lots of outdoor tables and when I went, I heard live music near the water. Cute spot to drop by if you're in the area!

I ended up getting a vegan almond croissant and a vegan chocolate hazelnut rolled croissant, both of which were ridiculously good. The almond croissant was nice and flaky yet still buttery inside, and the almond filling was lovely. However my favorite was definitely the rolled croissant, the hazelnut creme inside was so light and creamy and when taken in a bite with the croissant and chocolate shell coating was heavenly. They had so many other options that looked incredible, in particular if I came back I would definitely want to try the vegan kouign amann. The inside is cute and has a small amount of seating, however the place is quite busy and fills up very fast. Me and my friend were lucky to get there early and be able to claim a table, and so they plated the pastries for us quite nicely and heated up her pizza croissant. Everyone we interacted with was lovely. This place is actually perfection I cannot recommend enough.

There were only three workers plus I believe the owner in the back. There was a sign on the door asking to keep it closed for the AC, but it kept being propped open. When we came up to the front, it was chaotic. I understand a rush can come suddenly and all, but I'm not sure how long the milks remained sitting on the bar. I would say after you're no longer using it - it should go back into the fridge. By the time we ordered they ran out of their Banana special pastries and several other pastry options. Even the dessert case was minimal. They didn't have banana cold foam or chocolate cold foam either. I ended up not buying any pastries and ordering an Iced Orange Blossom & Apricot Latte with Whole Milk. I don't mind if it takes a while to make the drink as long as the quality is there. It was very milky and the orange blossom portion tasted straight up artificial -- like an extract or something. Initially, I thought it would be like an orange blossom honey. But I don't think it was. And the apricot purée at the bottom looked beautiful, but the texture of it was not good. I tasted "dried" bits and also the skin of the apricot. It was gritty and overall, not very nice in the mouth. I think if they were to make this into a jam or blend the apricots sans skin, it would be better. Couldn't really taste espresso, not worth the money. This next part is just a note for customers, they have a section that states "empty plates." Something I kept noticing was that people stacked their trash on the plates as well-- this limited the ability for the workers to nicely stack them to bring it to the back to wash. There's a trash can inside the patisserie, and it's not that difficult to throw your napkins, straws, and utensils away. In addition, another note would be that perhaps they can add a little square dish for the stacked paper cups to rest upon. That way the last cup, whose rim is touching the metal counter, doesn't come in contact with the trash can lid. This would be so it's kept at an elevated area! Overall, today was very chaotic. Despite that the workers were actually very kind and working hard! They remembered names and had great manners. They didn't seem to be frustrated towards us, just a little overwhelmed. The owner came from the back to help clean up tables and then bring pastries and drinks out. Which was very kind of him! They have a handful of seating inside and a good amount outside as well. I hope they can work out having enough pastries to last before closing. I have came here before and been to a few of their farmers market stalls, they do great pastries! Today was just a bit of a miss. I'll come back on another day for sure. I still want to give that banana cold foam on a latte a try, perhaps I'll request less milk. The pastry that interested me was the Banana Salted Caramel Crookie, for the textures & the combination sounded really good!

This is the perfect spot to get a snack, drinks, desserts, or a meal and chill. They have WiFi access which makes it perfect for studying or just finishing up work for those late working evenings. The layout is super cute and I love the lighting it gives a warm cozy feeling. The pastry case looks delicious and other Japanese inspired gelato desserts look amazing as well. Today I'm trying the chicken hayashi, so yesterday I seen this dish a friend had and I opted not to try it but I found this Japanese establishment highly recommended so I decided to give it a try to tonight. So you opt to have this entree with an omelet but I opted not to do the omelet on it and went with the traditional dish. This dish was very savory, and I love that the chef did not over season this dish and allowed for the savory sauce to do all the speaking!!! I love that the onions were cooked down to perfection with added mushrooms that weren't too over spread, and the Katsu was cooked to perfection very crispy and coating was very light. The rice was delicious and perfectly cooked. The orders are prepared to order and so delicious that I'll definitely be back. This is my first experience of the Katsu Hayashi curry and it did not disappoint!!!! Chefs kiss Hidden secret!!!! I'm telling!!!!! There is a bar hidden behind the wall as soon as you enter this establishment to the right, which looks amazing and no one would have ever thought it. It opens up when you tell the front counter that you have reservations or if you want to chill at the bar top. My eyes popped out of my head with this hidden bar as it is amazingly laid out with a unique Japanese style. I love that whoever designed this area and also decorated it, went for Japanese style and nailed it head on. It feels very exclusive and looks to be like a VIP section for the elite but has a super chill atmosphere. This bar has bar top seating as well as an open dining area and to the back a private room as well. This is definitely a hidden gem I also love on the other side of the café, they have the gaga room which is a room for pairing sake. How amazing is that!! that the owner of this establishment thought of everything? This establishment is definitely a treasure and I'm not sure why it has taken me this long to find it!!! lol nonetheless no gatekeeping here!!!! The word is out now and I'm definitely coming back and I highly recommend checking them out as I'm sure that you'll have an experience definitely worth it!! As always you can thank me later
