Terrible service. I came in today and I guess they had a power outage? I understood that part but I was not informed about their oven being down, the seats being closed off or anything as I helped myself to one of the pastries at their store. They offhandedly said to grab anything off their carts (?) with random assortments no labels and mixed up. I got to this place at 7:18 PM and got in line in by 7:22 PM. They told me that they don't offer coffee anymore because they close at 8 PM. Shouldn't they serve until 8 PM or at least 7:45 PM?? Maybe they are in a rush to go home as soon as they close. I'm not sure what the owner's reason is but they should at least advertise or just close at seven if they want to go home earlier. read more

Came in around 5 to get some coffee and pastries with a friend. I should've known better cuz the bread was probably baked early in the morning because all the pastries I picked were stale. Two pieces were exceptionally stale, to the point where it was actually so hard it was unedible. I've seen softer manhole covers. I figured it was too much of a hassle to ask for a refund, so I asked them if I could exchange the two exceptionally stale pieces, even though I should've asked for a refund or exchange on all of them. An employee then talked to whom I assume was the manager, where he uncomfortably stood there for what seemed like forever trying to explain to me why he couldn't exchange the two pastries. He eventually refused me and offered to reheat them, so i could have two old soggy pieces of bread. He said it's all he could do since there were tiny pieces taken off each. How else would I have known those pieces were stale if I hadn't tried it? Even if I hadn't taken those tiny pieces off of it, I'm sure they wouldn't be able to put it back anyways. Either way, exchanging two old pieces of bread for what likely would've been two other pieces of stale bread would've been a complete catastrophe, right? A catastrophe at best! So in the end, I spent about $30 for stale bread and two coffees. At least the coffee and the coffee donut was good, so I'd add a star but as I was sitting there a fly broke his little mouth straw thingy on the old stale croissant. read more

Food is good here, and that's why I came here a lot last year (but the time I came is in the afternoon). However when I was back today, I received very bad service. Because this is self-service, I just tipped a little bit, but the guy who is cashier looked at me with his bad eyes. He also shown his attitude. Idk but i felt like they wanted me get out here and they turned on AC very cold because I sit in area with the AC above, and it made me cough. (it's normal if they still turn on AC at first but when I got there, they didn't use AC). No word could describe what they did. Moreover, I just sit 20 mins and a lady came to me and told they will close after 10 mins (it means they will close at 7:30). I tried to stay a little bit and see what's going on and it's like exactly what I thought. People is still there and eat. Again, I will never come back. I used to come here every week because the coffee was ok and they had a place I could meet clients with nearby my house. However, every time I tried to talk, even quietly during a meeting with my team to where we could barely hear eachother, there was always a group of older ladies every week who would *Glare* at me. They made themselves very known by leering incessantly. After a while of that, they would complain to the staff, who would always tell me that I needed to leave, which was very weird, even when the conversations would be so quiet that my own clients couldn't hear me. A friend who comes here too and help their siblings with homework experience the same issue; where she keeps being asked to leave or be silent. For some reason a group of older ladies would always complain to staff, who would then harass myself or my friend, likely because the group of ladies who complain are always there and don't like to hear other people. Other than that weird preferential service, the coffee is alright, it makes do, but the one time I needed some food and got a pastry it tasted rancid; after reading some of the reviews on here I'm pretty sure the fruit in it WAS rancid and rotten. Thankfully I didn't eat anything beyond a single bite. Can't work & can't eat, coffee is mediocre, staff and patrons are oppressively rude even to so I'm looking for a different cafe to meet clients, and so is my friend. read more

Why am I such a fiend for sweets and bread?! I was doing some grocery shopping in the adjacent Korean grocery store and couldn't help but stop by to pick up some treats. This location is super spacious and clean! The service was friendly enough. I came in the morning so the variety of goodies were well stocked. Paris is definitely not a new name around town but or those who don't know, it's more of a boujee'er option for baked goods. Their prices range from $40 to upwards of $60 for cakes. I would definitely say it's a safe option for consistency in goods when you're in need of something to fall back on. I'm super glad to have found this location in this little corner of Fullerton and will definitely be back to try some more yummies! So far my favorites have been the Sausage Stick ($3.29) which is a leveled up version of the typical Hong Kong version of their hot dog breads but just looking at it aesthetically they are not even on the same level playing field. The hefty size of the sausage alone justifies the price not to mention how the bread has the perfect density to compliment it all together. Would also recommend trying their Cheese Tart ($2.79), so good!! read more

Beautiful and tempting bakery in the same center as the AR Mart, Korean market. Wonderful and delectable sweet and savory pastries to gaze at and try. Staff was pleasant. I tried a few items on this first visit: the raspberry macaron, sweet rice ball donut with red bean, and an iced coffee. The only thing that really disappointed me was the $2.50 macaron. This has got to be the priciest macaron I've ever tried. (Brodard and Bottega Louie are soooo much better!) Not impressed. While they're a delicate and pretty pastry, it may be wiser to spend the dollars on a flaky pastry instead. I did enjoy the sweet rice ball donut. Inclined to try more of their pastries if I revisit, but that one bite from the unimpressive macaron left a very disappointing first impression. read more

The only downside of this place is the location itself. I always enjoy going to Paris Baguette. So much better quality than the others. Just too far from where I am. Their seasonal strawberry breads are great. They also have lots of drinks whee you can get up to 20% off depending on which day you come. They also have different types of savory breads not just sweet breads. Mostly, their stores are always clean. The parking is ample as it is located inside a plaza. read more

I don't understand why people are complaining about the price because pastries are only $2-3. What else do you want? Anyways I honestly prefer Paris Baguette over 85 because I like their variety better. My favorite thing to get is the Curry Bun - a crispy deep-fried shell of goodness filled with hearty chicken curry. It's delicious. Their desserts are sweet and fluffy as well. Another problem I have with 85 is that they package some of their bread in bags so they get all steamed up and soggy. Paris Baguette doesn't do that so their bread is still yummy after I take it home. Being an Instagram kinda guy, I also really appreciate the aesthetics of the cafe and how beautiful all the pastries look. The workers are also dressed in striped shirts and berets which I think is really cute too. There was a good amount of savory options but tons more sweet options, which is expected from a bakery. There were a few premade sandwiches so we ordered the crab sandwich and the wrapped has brown pastry. We also tried the curry ball. Everything was very good! The curry was supposed to be spicy but it wasn't too had at all. For dessert we shared a berry and cheese danish. It was light and fluffy and super tasty. A little on the sweet side but we ended up sharing it so it worked out perfectly. I also ordered a green tea latte. I was hoping to have this made with nonfat milk but the only options were whole milk and soy. So I went with soy. The location was spacious and clean and the staff were all very friendly. My sister really likes their cronuts!! I absolutely love their selection of fruit tarts and whipped-cream cakes!! We came here recently to buy some bakery items, and also a birthday cake for one of our family members! We love how the bakery items are not too heavy on the stomach, and how the cakes are very light and fluffy and are not jam-packed with so much sugar like they can be at some other bakeries. The fruit pastries were delicious. I think this is a good location for Paris Baguette next to a korean market. The prices seem a bit high, but not too expensive. I ask to speak to a manager and the girl assisting me stated there was no manager at the moment , which I thought was weird. I ask for them to honor the price that they had on the floor. We arrived during the late afternoon to pick up some bread for my mom. The selection was quite small. They had plenty of red bean bread though. This Paris Baguette location has plentiful indoor seating. Half of the store is allocated for displaying the baked goods, and the other half is allocated for seating. They don't seem to have royal pudding at this location. When I asked the cashier at the front if they carried any royal pudding, she looked at me puzzled and said that she didn't know what I was referring to. I couldn't resist so I took little samples of everything. I'm such a fatty when it comes to carbs and sweets. I decided to get a croissant hot dog, mini blueberry cheesecake and strawberry tart. I've had the cronuts, sweet potato bread and mocha bread before. All the pastries here are fresh and always so tasty. Most items are priced within the $1-$3 range. You can also score 50% on selected items towards the end of the day. A lot of people like to compare Paris Baguette to 85c Bakery. Paris Baguette is a combination of Korean & French. 85c is a combination of Taiwanese & French. Both combinations are genius ideas! I personally like 85c bakery more because of the variety overall in cakes, breads and beverages. However, I do like being able to go into P&B without the long lines unlike 85c.
