Great PB at Paramus location. Spacious and bright when you step in. The smell of bakery is always so pleasant. I love their pastries and cakes. Savory items are also flavorful and fluffy. This is a huge PB store, probably the largest I have been to. Very clean store, with lots of tables to dine-in. The bakery goods are kept in nice wooden shelves. Of course they have the full and sliced cakes, hot and cold drinks, small sandwiches and bites too like other PBs. I put in an online order for a chocolate cake with message on top. I went to the store at my scheduled pick up time. At the register I told my name, and they brought the cake out from the freezer. There was a free plastic knife with the cake. Of course the cake had amazing taste and quality. PB cakes are one of the best!! We will be back at the store to shop some bakery items soon. read more

I love my PB in Dublin, CA...This place is not bad. A little smaller but it will do. Pastries are yum and consistent with other PBs I have been to in the West Coast. I bought that cheesecake with chocolate on top for my Aunt. She loved it and so did my dad. Their signature cake was good but signature is a stretch. Their drinks are on par and good. Not Peet's good but close. Service is nice with a friendly staff. Most of our PB employees in the West Coast are Asian so it was nice to see a variety who interacted and gave some insight to a visitor such as myself. Ambiance is typical PB which is well Organized and cozy. I generally do not stay and eat at PB but at times I will with my wife...We would like this place and the location is nice with convenient parking. All the pastries were good, picking them out was easy, and the place was very clean. My girlfriend got top two and bottom left, some of which were warm pastries. She said the ham and cheese could've had more in it and same with the cream for the strawberry one. They were a bit lack luster. I got the coffee and nutella cronut which both had filling and hit the spot if you're looking for a sweet treat. The combination of the sugar on the outside, cream on top and inside makes for a very good desert. They also have good rewards so make sure to sign up to start racking those up! I have been to this new Paris Baguette numerous times and never have never had any issues. I usually visit on Sundays to pick up some fresh pastries for the week. When you walk in there is a display great variety of sweet and savory pastries-- from donuts to pizzas to fruit tarts to quiche to croissants. It is self serve and you grab a tray, wax paper, and tongs and you select the ones you want. I usually go in the late afternoon and there is always so many options. I have gone to other locations and they have slim pickings. I prefer the Paramus location because there is always pastries available. So I had grabbed a ham and cheese stuffed croissant, coffee cronut, cream filled mini croissant, and pizza. At check out, we were greeted by the kind employee behind the counter and had asked if I had the rewards card. Which I did! It is worth it join the rewards programs for the great deals and free pastries. I had redeemed one of rewards and so I had a pastry for free. The pastries tasted great, I love the coffee cronut with the sweet coffee cream filling inside. The ham and cheese croissant is also really good, just warm it up a little and it's very flaky and buttery. Overall l love this new location! Paris Baguette is a great franchise, just go to a different store. Went to this one for a hot latte, waited 15 minutes to be served in an empty store and they made it iced. When I mentioned I asked for the drink hot, the older man and younger cashier didn't bat an eye. Again, great food and beverage, just head to a different location. read more

Foods are good but cold brew needs quality check for a big time, unless people crave pungent sour cold brew taste. The coffee bean distributor is a good brand and I don't understand why it comes out very sour. I would get pastries and salad and such but NOT COLD BREW (it was very nasty). read more

As far as Paris Baguettes go (and I've been to many) this a pretty nice spot. I ordered two cake slices, the rainbow cake which was a little fruity, and the mocha cake which I preferred. I liked how spongey the cakes were and would order a mocha cake again. The location is convenient, and the interior is quite spacious with plenty of seating. This place was busy but not crowded on midday on a Sunday. Open windows allow you to see behind the scenes into the baking, and the displays include a variety of sweet and savory pastries and sandwiches. If you're interested in becoming a regular here, consider the rewards app. Their products are a little pricier than I would like in general, so those reward perks will help you out. I didn't have any issues with the customer service, they communicate well with each other and the customers, remembering regulars and handling long lines well. At first, I was skeptical of the need to have yet another Paris Baguette in this area, but at the end of the day I think it makes a nice addition to the community. I would rather be here than at a Starbucks or Gregory's. But it doesn't beat out a small business like Thumbody. read more

Be careful about this location. On two separate visits we have ordered food here and when we got home they swapped and put wrong items in the bag. The latest is, we ordered rainbow slice and mocha slice and the receipt clearly shows it but when we got home, the cake slices were mango cake. Nasty! Update: sent an email in response to the request from this business on 7/21. Not heard back yet. Will update as soon as I hear back. Update: they just write to say they will get in contact with you to pretend they are going to make it right. It's been almost a month, still no response to an email they had me waste more time writing them. The wrong slices sat in the fridge for over a week then got thrown out in disgust. read more

UPDATE: Still sticking with my two star review and here's why. I took the opportunity to revisit because the managers/owner asked me to. Why the review star hasn't changed. Temperature in the facility. It was a cold morning around 9:30 am when I went to join a friend for breakfast. It was so cold in this place that I could not sit and enjoy my food without keeping my coat on. My friend agreed. As I looked around, I noticed most patrons had their coats on. The two men walking around discussing bakery stuff had their coats on. An employee from the back came out front with her coat on, twice over the course of 20 minutes. The only two employees that didn't have coats on were the two women at the registers. On to the women at the front. The taller of the two was just about the right amount of friendly. The second, not so much. The second one I observed was doing a chore of "washing" the trays we eat off. I think some one should tell her you need to add soap to a sponge and and use that sponge to actually clean the item. I later observed her going thru a trash can looking for something. She didn't find what she was looking for. She also failed to wash her hands after going thru the trash. Yuck. So glad she's not the baker. On to the good. The pastries are still good. Crisp, and balanced in flavor. It would have been nice to ask if I wanted it warmed, but I suppose I could have ask to have it warmed. I had tea. It was good and hot. I liked I had the choice of honey or sugar to sweeten it with. It's a large place, so no worries about finding a seat to enjoy your pastries. The cases are bright and clear with signs to tell you what is in there. Summary: product is good, shop still needs work. read more

I know it's the summer but lots of flies in the display cases. Crawling on the glass, flying around the fruit pieces, sitting on the donut. Workers stand behind the register, scribbling drawings on napkins and giggling with each other while you stand there waiting to order cake. They see you but rather ignore the customers. I honestly just walked out from this establishment just right now. There was nobody in the line but my self and a person in front of me who I let her in front of me. There were 2 workers helping the same person at the same time. I am not sure if I am being profiled or what, but in other Paris Baguette location I been, it's always exceptional and always lovely. On this location, not even an acknowledgement of "we'll be right there with you" while both of us help this lady in front of you. I waited on line no lie for 10 minutes without being acknowledged. I felt unwelcome and walked out. Definitely NEVER coming back to this specific location. On the contrary, the place looks nice and bigger than most Paris baguette I have been. I ordered a rainbow cake 10:55 am on Saturday 5/10/25 oaid and all pick up Sunday 5/11/25 Mothers Day . I call on the phone and spoke with someone there.i go Sunday Mothers Day to pick up have the confirmation and all they can't find it. What $42 cake ordered paid and you cant find it. So I I ask to speak with a mgr. they. Turns out the mgr was right there and chise to not get involved. I get it was a holiday but they couldn't care less. I love my sweets and not very quiet. I will tell my friends . Great product good location , a lot to be desired for customer service and the mgr responsibility. It's not cheap. However very expensive which is ok if it's good but customer service is the most important. Sad very very sad. They did allow me to choose another cake which is fine however it is not want Mh MOM WANTED FOR MOTHERS Day. ! Sad very sad. Good luck however I will not be back. This place has not improved since my last review 29 days ago. Why did I go back? Mainly because of road construction on Ridgewood Ave. in Ridgewood. It got one star only because that's the lowest it goes. This time I was with my husband. We were running errands and he wanted to get a cup of coffee. Ok here we go... one coffee, one cappuccino, one chocolate croissant and one almond croissant. The coffee and cappuccino were terrible. Bitter. Unbelievable. There was not enough sugar or cream to make it even a tiny bit better. Their version of a chocolate croissant is a thin strip of chocolate in the middle and chocolate drizzle on top. The almond croissant I could not eat 1/3 of it because the ends were to hard. But after I broke off the ends it took a bite or two to finally get to the almond paste inside. I went up to the counter and spoke to a woman with very long dark hair. A lot of it hanging in her face. She put on one glove and told me to go with her to pick something else out. Sorry not going to happen. She insisted. I showed her my husband's croissant and said this is what we paid for. Shame on you. And I how do expect people to eat a pastry like the almond croissant when it is to hard to eat? I got tired of listening to her blaming everyone else except herself. In the end I told her she has to pull her hair back. She said she doesn't handle the food. Ha!!! Really.. ERRR !! She was the at the register handling the food customers were buying. People are way too harsh on these reviews... I leave a mile away and been here many times now. Like mentioned, parking is widely available unlike other locations, which is always a nightmare to stop by. Coffee and pastries have always been great as well. Is it the exact same quality of food and service other locations have? Maybe not, but give them a break, it is relatively new and things take time to get adjusted. I think we should realize that negative criticism (leaving 0-1 stars) lead people not choosing to go, which leads to business failing, and less options nearby for us... read more

My first time visiting this place...downloaded the app on my phone before entering and discovered that I can get a free pastry for my first purchase using the app. I purchased their raisin bread and, received, at no charge, the $4.49 Almond Croissant. It was awful...the ends were dry/stale/hard...and the almond paste that was in the pastry was so little, absolutely NOT WORTH IT...even though it was free. As I said, this was my first time at the restaurant and did not know how to pick-out the pastry and/or buy anything since they were in cases. I stopped by the register where a young man, walked me over and explained that I had to get a tray, a bakery paper, and tongs to pick out my pastry, put it on the tray, then bring it back to the cashier for them to wrap the item and ring it up. WHY? What is the purpose of this procedure, if I was taking the items to-go. Certainly, if I stayed and ate at the restaurant the almond croissant, the tray would work...but it is a waste of time...and a waste of water to clean trays, etc. - not ecological at all! When I was paying for the items, there were at least three employees by the register, and I was the only customer. While paying, another customer came over and distracted the woman who was helping me - in other words, she did not "finish" with me, before talking and going on another register to help that woman. When I said, why are you not finishing with my sale before ignoring me...she r--appeared flustered, and came back for a minute...terrible customer service. Will not be back. read more

I read a lot of the other reviews on here and honestly to me it just seems like old people nitpicking random things. One person even got upset over an employee trying to rectify a wrong and they were upset about that lol? I've gone in at a variety of times and days and my experience and food has been great. The pastries are all really yummy, the place is spacious and generally clean, and the workers are really nice. A couple of the times I've gone, I've actually had a great experience with the workers (especially the younger ones!). It's a nice place to go, with good food- really nothing to complain about. Not sure what the other reviews were upset about but I wouldn't listen to them- this place is worth a visit! If you're going and not sure what to get, they have good coffee, but I love their peach iced tea. A worker suggested a smoothie once and I was actually surprised by it (which is saying something because I don't really like smoothies). You can't go wrong with any of the food but I love all their danishes! read more

We were so excited when does Paris baguette open right around the corner from . We went there several times, and even bought some of their cakes for some of our parties. And my daughters always look forward to going there for a special treat after school. However, on one visit, the counter was crowded with a lot of people, because they were busy, and my daughter ended up spilling my tea as they placed it on the counter. She was so upset, and started crying. Nobody even offered any kind of support or help, and left my young little girl, crying and trying to clean up the mess with napkins. They didn't offer to get another tea or anything at all. They actually let me walk out without another tea, and still charged me for the tea that clearly spilled all over the counter that my daughter had to clean up. I would've ordered another one no problem but their blatant disregard was enough for me, and we have not been back since and will not be going back anytime soon. read more
