No wonder they have lower prices than the competing salons, it comes with inexperienced technicians like the guy I had! My technician was adamant about going after my cuticles and going so hard that they were bleeding and had cuts...and he continued to file and clip my nails and hurt me the entire time during my session. Usually my reactions are a dead giveaway and I did speak up a few times. But he still continued to disregard this and went on with the session. The first nail tech brought the wrong color and then when I told them the color again, they brought the color out and it didn't even match the one that was on the color wheel. This was a trade off for their more "affordable" prices, but if you are looking for quality work, I don't recommend you coming here. My experience was awful from start to finish!! read more

I visited their first location in the strip center next to Jersey Mike's, where my friend and I experienced poor service. Despite arriving first, another pair was attended to before us. We shrugged it off and continued waiting. However, when two more people arrived for eyebrow services, the technician who had started working on me left to do their eyebrows, leaving my friend and me waiting again. Frustrated by the delay, we decided to leave since they were closing soon and seemed too busy. We went to another location nearby, next to a taco place, only to find out it was run by the same owners. When we walked in, they immediately acknowledged that we had come from the other location and tried to explain they were sending someone over. Regardless, we sat down and were attended to right away. Unfortunately, during my pedicure, the technician cut into my left big toenail and then accidentally cut the skin underneath my nail. I pulled my foot back and told her what happened, but she seemed to dismiss my concerns, possibly due to a language barrier. Despite my complaints, she continued working and even started to put oil and other products on my foot after the injury and submerging my feet in the water after the cut. I eventually told her to stop, as my toenail was now partially hanging off. At this point, the manager or owner intervened, trying to downplay the situation by claiming my nail was already broken. This was not true, as I had recently trimmed and maintained my nails myself. They still did not address the injury properly, and when I refused to continue, the owner questioned my reaction, asking what was "wrong" with me. As if they didn't cut and drew blood from me and tried to act like I was 'overreacting' when I don't want something to get it infected. My friend's pedicure was finished due to her technician being sweet and careful and not wanting to leave them with nothing since they did start a service but given this experience, I would not recommend either Paris or Hollywood location. read more

About a month ago I went in again and had a lady named Pam do my shellac. She did a great job. I came in again a few weeks later and asked for her. She came and saw me and asked what color I want and then just left some dude to do my manicure instead!! She didn't explain that she had an appt w someone else or anything. And the guy who did them didn't really seem like he knew what he was doing. My cuticles look bad and the shellac application was very sloppy. The polish is "dry" but it feels like some of the under coats didn't dry properly so there's all these nicks and like creases in the polish. It's always a bad sign when they're constantly having to use acetone to "clean" when applying polish. read more

Overall this tends to be my go-to nail salon. I went there this past Saturday. They check your temperature, hand sanitize and have you sign a waiver before even looking at polishes. They also have the clear plastic between you and the technician while both in the pedicure chair or manicure. Currently you have to do each of them separate which takes a bit longer of time. I love how my toes look right now. The polish lasts for a long time. My manicure could have gone a bit better. Got a cut on my cuticle this time that hurts a couple days later. But the overall shape is good and the rest of it looks good. I know accidents happen. read more

Yeah, no. I only came here because this is where my friend likes to go. I called ahead to see when they were closing and the gentleman who I spoke with on the phone was very friendly and said it was no problem for two pedicures. Walked in and the technician who worked on my feet never said a word and was very rough with my feet. I thought it was odd that she didn't even cut my nails...what made the experience awful was the fact my chair was not even reclined and scooted all the way up so much my feet were hanging off the foot rest. She didn't even communicate with me the whole time when she wanted my feet up or in the water. She would just pull and push. She was also very aggressive with my foot/leg massage pulling my toes hard and digging her nails into my feet and legs. Normally when I go to the nail salon it is super relaxing but this was not relaxing at all. I guess you get what you pay for... The only reason why this place earns two stars is because of the gentleman I spoke with on the phone and because I was offered a drink. I'd rather pay more money and be treated like a decent customer and not someone who they are trying to rush out of here because they are about to close. This place sucks. I went in for a manicure and wanted shellac polish. I ended up with no manicure and powder dip on my own nails. The results were good but the guy made four of my fingers bleed. Since I needed a manicure desperately, my cuticles needed to be trimmed after he filed down my nails with the drill. I asked if he was going to trim the cuticles for me before he started dipping my nails and he said he would do it at the very end. He made my pinky bleed with the drill and made three other fingers bleed when he trimmed my cuticles. All of my fingers feel sore around the cuticles from having them trimmed dry. I was upset about the bleeding but at least my nails look ok. They are not all perfect smooth across the top but it's not noticeable, thankfully. When I went to pay he said he would only charge me for my nails and not for trimming my cuticles. It came out to $40. The picture was taken a day after once my cuticles were no longer bleeding. read more

I entered into Paris Nails to get dip with short fake tips. I do not normally feel stressed out when getting my nails done, but once I saw my shape of my nails, I felt upset. I asked for an oval-shaped nails and ended up with various shapes so I had to talk to my nail technician about evening them. As we went nail by nail, I became more distraught with the process. We had to restart my right thumb because it kept getting shorter and shorter instead of the shape I wanted. After the file (under the strong pressure applied by the technician) cut my skin under the same right thumb nail, I began to file my own nails. He quickly dismissed my requests by saying he'd fix it throughout the file process even though the nail shape was clearly different from the rest and kept filing the areas that did not need any more filing and did not file the parts thar needed to be filed. After giving up trying, the dip color was added and at the end, it was lumpy and did not have consistent color. It was frustrating but I believe the technician did not have enough experience. I went for the removal of my powder nails (done else where). It was a Saturday around noon and wasn't crowded at all = great for me as I was a walk in. There was a gentleman that assisted me and he took care of my nails as if I was getting a higher priced service. This was also a plus because normally other places want to rush you out but he took his time and made conversation. The place is about average size, had plenty of seats for pedicures for a girls day. DO NOT LET THE SHORT EX-MILITARY MAN TOUCH YOUR NAILS!! He is usually the person in the front that welcomes you when you come in. I just stopped by to have my shellac removed that I had them put on 2 weeks ago. He destroyed my nails with the rough nail file. There are massive scratches in my nails. My strong beautiful nails are now ruined because he was too hard with the file. It will take months for my nails to get past what he just did to them. When I got to my car and I started writing this post then I realized that he hasn't even gotten the bottom layer of the shellac off. I went back in and asked for someone else to take care of my nails. He then goes off on me. Yelling, telling me about how rude I've been, and used profanity multiple times. I never once cussed at this man nor was I rude. His pride just got the best of him when someone told him he did a crappy job. He should be ashamed of his behavior and I hope the owner reads this post. One of the other employees told him to calm down, to leave for a bit and that she would take care of me. When he finally decided to listen to her, he continued to throw a temper tantrum down the middle of the salon by complaint and throwing his arms around. I thought he would chill out but I was wrong. He walked past us several times and would huff and puff like a child not getting their way. Such a fool for a grown man. The lady (Jessica) that took care of my nails was extremely sweet and professional. I have had her work on my nails several times before and I have always been extremely pleased. This place just opened up in my 'hood and I'll readily admit the 20% off grand opening special banner was what initially lured me in the door. I live for mani/pedis - but I also love a good deal! I stopped by after work one night and was immediately greeted by a friendly young man working in the front. I told him I wanted a spa pedi and shelled mani and he gave me the shellac colors to choose from - well over 100 gorgeous colors. After picking my colors, he led me to a spa chair and offered me a glass of wine, soda or water. I quickly took him up on a diet coke. For the next 90 minutes, I had one technician giving me a shellac mani and another pampering and painting my toes. I opted for the best pedi aka Paris's Relief Spa Pedicure. It started with a 12-herb blend scented neck wrap. Amazing! I also got a hot stone massage and paraffin wax treatment. I'm usually faithful about getting a pedi every two weeks, but with my recent crazy schedule I had fallen behind and my heels were pretty calloused (ugh, embarrassing!) the technician suggested I try the special ointment treatment for an extra $5. She promised that it would reduce the new callus growth and if I used it a couple times, it wouldn't grow back at all. I was a bit skeptical at the time, but after almost 2 weeks, my heels are still super smooth! The only aspect of my service that I wasn't blown away by was the neck/shoulder massage. It was pretty light for paying extra for this service. However, I should have told the technician to apply more pressure as I prefer deep tissue massage. I will definitely be back! Not sure how long the grand opening 20% discount is going on - but even without the discount, the prices are in line with other salons. read more

Houston traffic has a way of making you stop and recognize new businesses. This so happened to be the case one Saturday afternoon as I was driving back into town on I-10. I was in no rush to get back home, so I decided to go to Panda Express and eat dinner. However, upon parking the car, I saw that next to Panda Express was a nail salon. Looking at the condition of my feet, they were in much need of some TLC. I skimmed the reviews that fellow Yelpers had given and decided why not. Upon entering the establishment, you will definitely get a taste of Paris--complete with an Eiffel tower, shades of blue embracing the walls, and classical music to set the mood ( a little red or white wine doesn't hurt to set the mood either ;P The only part about visiting nail shops that I do not like is picking out my polish. Mind you, I look for Opi and other high end polishes that I know will last a long time and look good, but there were so many shades and colors, it was overwhelming, The guy in the front was very patient and painted some of my choices on his nail to help me make my final selection. Once I was in the chair, it was an absolute getaway from reality! Superb massage chairs, subtle classical music to ease the mind, and a glass of wine! I enjoyed my pedi to the fullest! I cannot remember how much I paid for the pedi, but it was at the top of my "highest paid list." However, they did quality work and did not rush the job, so I awarded such treatment with a tip. I do not live in the area, but this place is worth the visit if you go by and need services. read more

I went for the first time and did not have a good experience. The man working the counter (also my nail tech) rushed me through the paperwork and checkin in process and then over to a seat. Where I was given less than 5 minutes to pick out a color. When I told him I didn't know what color yet, he stated "give me one hand". I felt rushed and said the next color I saw (which I'm not in love with). He did ask that I tell him if the pressure was too much or he was hurting me. He gave me no communication on hand movement and instead kept jerking my hand over and over again, squeezing, moving and pulling in different directions. I ended up with several cut cuticles powder underneath my nails making the mail stick to the skin, clear coating around my nail bed, jagged edges not filed down and uneven thickness across my nails. I really wanted to like this place and maybe I'll give it another shot but never again with him. read more

I really like it here. I have 2 ladies that I absolutely adore and they do a really great job. The two ladies are Jessie and Sophia. I like getting my shellac done by Jessie because she is very attentive to my nails. Sophia is great on pedicures. The salon have 12 spa pedicure chairs and many nail stations. They have a lot of shellac colors to choose from and also, they know how to create a 3D nail. I haven't tried that yet but I am going to. This is my place to go during lunch or after work. read more
